04/11/2025: The pizza was honestly not very good and I asked for a salami and there were only 3 little pieces.

25/10/2025: Beautiful atmosphere, good food with generous portions. The only downside...very downside is the service, to say the least. The waiter was indifferent and bordered on rude. Not to mention the way he served the food. Maybe he should be sent back to school to learn the basics of restaurant management.

21/10/2025: La Marinara has now become our go-to for good pizzas and excellent first and second courses. The wine list is also very comprehensive and appreciable. I just want to offer one small but very important tip, as we've encountered this issue more than once: be careful about the saltiness of fish dishes, especially fried fish and first courses. I say this objectively and knowledgeably. Otherwise, highly recommended.

25/02/2025: One of the best hotels ever! There are so many things to say, but one stands out: the owner, Mr. Fioroni. A man who will make your stay unforgettable. An artist, musician, writer, an invaluable figure, a historic figure in this delightful village, and, in short, a friend to every guest. A unique, incomparable experience that will allow you to discover true Italian culture, made of stories, music, and good food. The historic venue is beautifully enhanced by the small piazza and the sweeping view of the lake. Just a few meters away, every service and fair prices.

22/11/2025: I returned to Al Porticciolo after a year. The location remains truly exceptional, practically on the lakeshore. The service has improved significantly, with the staff even more helpful and competent. The menu is even more extensive, the dishes beautiful to look at, but above all, delicious to taste. These are ancient dishes revisited with a modern twist. The desserts are also truly delicious; you can tell the people behind them are skilled, passionate, and use excellent products. I highly recommend it.

15/11/2025: I confess: I was supposed to go to the trattoria next door, but it was closed, and after a five-hour drive, I was so hungry I couldn't get back in the car. I'm so grateful to the owner of the trattoria for deciding to go on vacation because I discovered this place, which is definitely worth a second visit. I wasn't thrilled with the fried octopus, but the pasta, ladies and gentlemen, was exceptional. Spaghetti allo scoglio and linguine with clams were perfect for mopping up the pasta. The Gragnano pasta was cooked perfectly; after all, the owners (if I'm not mistaken) are from Campania and don't let themselves be influenced by the tastes of German tourists who prefer overcooked pasta. 😜 Also a mention for the attentive service and the guy who served us, who was super kind.

22/06/2025: En nuestra primera noche en Milán, estábamos buscando un lugar bajo - clave para comer y nos recomendaron probar Aum Aumma. El restaurante estaba decorado con buen gusto, y estábamos sentados enseguida. El personal era increíblemente amable y servicial, especialmente en ayudarnos con nuestro pedido a pesar de la barrera del idioma. Probamos algunas pizzas diferentes y nos sorprendió gratamente por sus sabores únicos. La masa era crujiente y delicioso, y los ingredientes eran definitivamente de primera calidad. Recomendaría este restaurante a cualquiera que busque una experiencia gastronómica relajada lejos de los lugares turísticos típicos.

03/09/2025: Homemade pasta, and you can tell the staff understands what it means to be lactose intolerant. They're knowledgeable and can recommend the most suitable dishes for your intolerance. It's been a long time since I've had a hard time deciding what to eat because I usually have to settle for one dish! I was very pleased and everything was delicious! I hope they also think about a lactose-free dessert for the future! I also really liked the decor of the place!

03/09/2025: The pasta was truly excellent, well-cooked and made with quality ingredients. My only small complaint was the semifreddo, which was a bit too hard for my expectations. Overall, a pleasant and successful dinner, with carefully crafted and presented dishes.

14/11/2025: I went for lunch over the weekend with eight friends, including a baby girl and a 7-month-old. Arrived at 1:00 PM, left at 4:50 PM, with a wait of about an hour for appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The food tasted good, no complaints, but this kind of management simply cannot be tolerated. We didn't spend a small amount, either, but regardless, I don't even apologize for the inconvenience. We later realized they also charged a cover charge for our 7-month-old baby. I recommend other places.

14/11/2025: 251113 Improvised dinner with friends 8 people Beautiful atmosphere I enjoyed the "Rustic pappardelle with venison ragù, pine nuts, and pecorino cheese," and a special mention for the lemon sorbet. I drank a draft lager (total €32), and the coffee was good. I'll be back with my family.

12/11/2025: Excellent first courses, even for celiacs. Their homemade white pizza for celiacs was truly top-notch, but it didn't seem gluten-free. The staff were very kind and courteous, and the service was fast and accurate. We also stayed here overnight and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended. If we're ever in Saronno again, it'll be a must-try! Thanks

04/11/2025: I came here for a romantic dinner with my boyfriend. We showed up at 9:00, and the place was packed with children between the ages of 1 and 3 celebrating their birthdays. They assured us they'd leave soon, but that wasn't the case. Despite the noise, we sat at a table in a terrible location and were brought our welcome appetizer, a couscous filled with nuts. Luckily, my boyfriend noticed, because I'm allergic, and the waiter simply placed it on the table without explaining anything. I find it absurd that a dish containing nuts is served without request without explaining how much was in it. The dinner continued with mediocre dishes and a main course (spicy roast pork) that we couldn't finish because it was inedible, the spices were unbalanced, and the vegetables were so hard to chew that they had to be spat out. To conclude this pleasant evening, having left before the herd of children, we paid an exorbitant price compared to the service and food consumed.

09/10/2025: We've been to Navigli (always a beautiful and very popular area) for a long time for pizza with colleagues. The staff were friendly and helpful, the service was very fast, but the quality was average, which in my opinion didn't spark any positive memories for us to return. Those who ordered the Swiss hamburger plate returned it because they found it tasteless.

06/11/2025: Besides the lovely location and the kindness of the hostess, we ate truly well! Excellent panzanella, delicious Livorno-style red mullet, a delightfully warm apple pie, and a fantastic nocino liqueur! We'll be back often.

19/09/2025: Dinner for two with a shared appetizer, a first course, a second course, two glasses of wine, and a coffee for €120. Good, but decidedly and unjustifiably expensive. Sorry, but I won't be back.
