The historic place is well enhanced by the small square and the view overlooking the lake. A few meters away every service and honest prices.

19/02/2025: Does anyone know if this hotel is closed permanently or just during the winter months? Does this hotel mean it is definitive or only long-term in winter?

06/05/2025: sono stato accolto positivamente in questo locale curato nel centro di Livigno. Ho scelto i sciatt con cicoria o cicorietta ( un classico a Livigno che frequento per lavoro da una ventina d’anni) e una lasagnetta al ragu di vitello, non offrendo il locale piatti di carne. I sciatt non erano di grano saraceno e non avevano il buon sapore al quale ero sbituato, la cicorietta o qualsiasi altro tipo di insalata assente . A dire il vero era la cosa che mi aveva fatto scegliere quel piatto. Quando l ho fatto notare mi é stato risposto ( noi lo facciamo così ) . La lasagnetta gradevole ma la carne era talmente assente che non sono riuscito nemmeno a percepirne il gusto. Se non altro il servizio era veloce motivo di un punteggio con due stelle.

14/03/2025: Nos alojamos en Varenna y decidimos comer aquí para el almuerzo, con muy poco tiempo de antelación. Mientras que era tarde en el servicio de almuerzo, estaban felices de acomodarnos. El servicio era genial, las vistas fantásticas y la comida aún mejor. Los ñoquis fueron los mejores que había probado. Vale la pena visitarlo.

23/10/2024: L'endroit est tout simplement magnifique, un petit hôtel dans le centre de l'un des plus beaux et romantiques villages du lac de Côme, et en bord de mer, avec deux terrasses reliées par un petit chemin, d'où la vue sur Bellaggio et les deux bras du lac est vraiment époustouflante. Le niveau de service est quasiment celui d'un palace mais les prix très contenus pour la qualité des plats servis, je dirais donc certainement le meilleur rapport qualité prix de Varenna. Loin de la succession de terrasses bondées qui font face au petit port, on passe un moment hors du temps.

18/06/2025: Consigliatissimo, se vuoi vivere una cena romantica sul lago di Como devi provarlo assolutamente. Dalla location ai piatti selezionati, il menu’ è vario, anche i vini giusti e selezionati Da provare!!

05/06/2025: Nice restaurant but very high service and prices pizzas from 13 (margherita) to 18€ After 45 minutes of waiting and after asking how the pizzas were, one waiter replied that they were cooking and the other OFFERED to bring us some chips to apologize for the long wait (for 4 pizzas) .... well in the bill the chips were not OFFERED but rather to pay a good 7€ .... however in compensation at the cashier with a bill of €105.10 (for 4 pizzas, three beers and three coffees .... I would say quite expensive) he offered to give us a €0.10 discount (given 110.00 .... at first you could hear him touching the coin to give change .... then he offered the €5.00 saying that he didn't want the €0.10) Good pizzas but then ..... our comment was THEY DON'T SEE ANYMORE

15/06/2025: Si j'habitais Milan j'en ferais une de mes cantines. Personnel de toutes nationalités sympathiques, attentionnés surtout si on les respecte et que l'on soit sympathique aussi....

08/04/2025: Il titolo osteria non gli fa giustizia, il ristorante presenta piatti tipici della tradizione rivisitati, piatti di pesce e carne e ottime selezioni di vini. Tutto gustoso ma in particolare consiglio gli gnocchi al casera. Personale molto preparato e cordiale. Il pranzo con vista Tirano e montagne vicine dalla terrazza è impagabile.

29/03/2025: Ottimo ristorante, cibo di qualità tipicamente valtellinese e personale gentile. Ambiente curato ed accogliente, location in posizione fantastica (un po’ fuori mano ma ne vale la pena!) Consigliatissimo !!!!

22/03/2025: Service at the highest level - the waiters were polite, smiling and always ready to help, but not pushy at the same time. We felt really welcome. As for the food - absolutely sensational! Every dish was perfectly prepared, fresh and full of flavor. You can see that the chefs put their heart into what they do. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates high quality food and professional service. I will definitely come back!

06/03/2025: Modern, casual, cosy and with a good vibe, fair priced and homemade food above average. Safe choice for all occasions. Great selection of wines. Best coffee Americano ever (not really an Americano - way too much good flavour).

09/06/2025: Prima gegeten in dit restaurant. Bestel vooral de vis (forel) echt heerlijk en de vis wordt voor je gefileerd. Jammer dat ze geen huiswijn in een karaf schenken. Je besteld dus een fles wijn of het gaat per glas.

08/06/2025: Really nice restaurant. The spot is really authentic and quiet. The pasta was good and authentic Italian. Maybe we would have appreciate a little be more about the quantity. The team is nice and sweet. I’ll recommend it.
