20/05/2026: I have never in my entire life been served so rudely by someone in a restaurant, and by the owner himself, no less. Bread rolls were slammed onto the table with an irritated expression. The order was placed with an irritated face and a hand gesture indicating what we wanted. We asked for Parmesan cheese for the pasta, but when it arrived, a small bowl was conjured up with a tiny leftover in it, which he scraped together and threw onto our pasta. When we asked for more, he spoke irritably to another waiter, and ultimately, no cheese arrived. The entire time, he was irritated and rude, not only to us but also to two other families who were treated exactly the same way. Eventually, we confronted him about it, along with the two other families, and he said in an angry voice, "Yes, yes, fine, pay up and get out," with a hand gesture multiple times, and then threw the receipt on the floor. This was done to the other families as well, including an elderly couple, where the old man had to bend down to pick up his receipt. Regular customers came in in between; you could tell by the way he cheerfully welcomed them, shook their hands, and was talking to them with a cheerful smile—he was a completely different person, unbelievable to see. The waiters and waitresses were also treated rudely by him, and they apologized to us for his behavior; it is terrible that these people have to deal with someone like that every day, and I wish them strength. The view was beautiful, though (photos of the owner are not allowed: small man with a big nose and glasses).

20/05/2026: The view of Lake Garda is breathtaking. Since we only wanted a cappuccino, we were relegated to the back rows under the waiter's stern gaze, even though there were still seats available at the front. A shame, but okay. I didn't feel welcome at all. It seemed to me that attention was only given to the locals and well-known guests. Not even a smile for us. Passersby had asked about ice cream – apparently, they don't have any; I found that hard to understand. I then wanted to pay and had to do so inside. Our waiter, who was still taking his time, printed out the receipt for me, and I asked again where I could pay. "Right here," he indicated. Only when I reiterated that I wanted to pay by card did he take out the card reader. Still with a stern expression. Sorry, but that kind of attitude doesn't deserve a tip.

14/02/2026: Very well located, close to the lake. Very friendly stuff, they found is a table even though it was crowded. In winter pretty cold inside. Good food but not excellent.

11/02/2026: All the reviews said they cater to gluten free but when we got there he said there was only gluten free risotto. This might be because of winter but the guy told us no one further down had gluten free when in fact the next open restaurant had plenty of options.

21/03/2026: €12 for the full menu, even on Saturdays for lunch...a variety of dishes, generous portions, and more than delicious food. Friendly staff and clean place. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by!

09/03/2026: I went for lunch on a Monday. Service was rushed. The wait was average. The salad was excellent, the fillet was delicious, with the crust on the outside and cooked as requested! The seafood risotto wasn't tasty... pieces of shellfish were constantly found. The waiter was asked about the contents, and the answer was "a bit of everything." Not the kind of answer a customer asking for information wants to hear (since there isn't much choice for non-fish entrees).

29/04/2026: We went there for lunch. €15 for a three-course meal including water, wine, and an espresso. And it tasted great, too. Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

26/04/2026: The pizza was delicious, but also the fish appetizer, which was a one-course meal, highly recommended, excellent service.

18/05/2026: Lovely and cozy atmosphere with a very kind staff and tasty food.

15/05/2026: We went for lunch and sat outside. Since we were getting cold, we asked if we could move inside, and they quickly turned on one of the electric heaters they have on the roof; it changed our food. Everything was delicious, and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely go back.

18/05/2026: The staff was a bit rude, and the food was stale. The seats were packed tightly together, and it was extremely noisy.

11/05/2026: We had a dinner consisting of a selection of dishes. The savory food was good (especially the Russian salad and baked potatoes), but the desserts were a bit of a disappointment, unfortunately.

08/06/2026: Osteria dell'Orologio is an excellent restaurant in Salò. Its traditional fish and meat menu is constantly updated to reflect seasonal ingredients. The staff are friendly and the place is meticulously maintained. It's always a pleasure to visit.

01/06/2026: Located right near Lake Garda, the food was okay, but I expected more by Italian standards. After our drinks took about 15 minutes to arrive, we were wondering when the food would come. It took two hours. The staff didn't check on us once during that time to see if everything was alright or if we needed more drinks. The worst part was that the appetizer arrived after we had already finished our main course. That's completely unacceptable.

31/10/2025: Excellent pizza and very fast service. Quality ingredients. The pizzas have names that recall the fire station atmosphere.

26/10/2025: The pizza was good, but I don't know how I managed to spend 19 euros on a Capricciosa without cooked ham and a Margherita with goat cheese (to go). I won't be back.

29/12/2025: The best service area. Friendly and dynamic staff. Original and delicious food. Last time, we had the rice balls. Spectacular!! The coffee, even the mokto, was good.

29/03/2026: Aperitif: You pay for a cocktail of your choice from the menu, plus €6 for a buffet dish. Each dish is a "gondola," and the level of filling is determined by the staff at the buffet counter. When asked if anything could be added, given the space available, the response was, "Well, you'll see, it's already too big." Courtesy and professionalism are excellent business cards.

13/05/2026: Very nice brunch for 31€, but very crowded around 12.00 (queues for food), not the nicest atmosphere + they weren’t too accommodating with the seating options. The food quality was ok, not excellent. Overall good experience. A lot of kids around

11/05/2026: I stopped by chance for breakfast. Excellent service with courteous and friendly staff. Breakfast was very pleasant in a quiet and relaxing environment. I am pleasantly surprised that in the chaos of Milan I found such a beautiful place that I will definitely return.
