13/03/2026: A bar inside a 4-star hotel. Very nice and well-maintained. My wife and I went for an aperitivo, and I must say, they were very good. Perhaps they could have offered a few more appetizers besides the classic bowl of chips and olives, but all in all, both the service and the location are excellent! Especially during the spring/summer months, when they open the garden! Unfortunately, there is no parking. I'll be back then with my wife and kids!

28/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on a Friday evening in late March, as a couple, after a beautiful lakeside stroll; a true oasis of elegance overlooking the lake, just steps from the center of Como. The location is simply relaxing: meticulously crafted, refined yet never overbearing, with an atmosphere that captivates from the moment you step inside. Everything contributes to a relaxing experience: the background music, the soft lighting, the elegant decor, and the lake view make dinner a moment of pure pleasure. It's the ideal place for both a romantic evening and a special gathering, with the added bonus of being open to both hotel guests and non-hotel guests. The cuisine is refined, with interesting and never boring pairings. Each dish is carefully crafted, both in its presentation and the balance of flavors. You can sense the quality of the ingredients and the desire to offer something original. Only the desserts were slightly less convincing than the rest of the menu, but overall the gastronomic experience was truly excellent. Special praise goes to the staff: professional, attentive, and always discreet. The service is impeccable and helps make guests feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish. A restaurant definitely worth a visit for those visiting Lake Como and seeking an elegant and relaxing experience.

07/03/2026: Service is horrible. If you don’t look “rich” and dress “rich” they look down on you and don’t want you to eat there. Super rude waiters. Avoid if you can.

07/03/2026: A classic Italian restaurant, classic but delicious. The waiters in their white jackets are pleasant, but they move a little slowly. After the rip-offs we experienced in Switzerland, we paid a reasonable bill and left happy.

08/02/2026: I ate a pizza quattro formaggi and small salat. Salat was ok but I am disappointed of the pizza. I ate several Pizzas around Milano but this was the worat one. The dough it’s like a crepe dough and there was no taste of gorgonzola. I am sorry but my biga dough taste better.

18/03/2026: Truly a wonderful restaurant, located in the greenery, and meticulously maintained, from the dining room to the bathrooms, everything is stunning. The menu is very varied, and the pizzas, appetizers, and desserts are excellent. We had a really good time and will definitely be back.

29/10/2025: I don't know how this place ended up in the "famous" guide. We didn't dislike it entirely, but it certainly didn't convince us. The pizzoccheri were good, but not buttery enough (the cheese was good, but they remained a bit dry/compact). The pasta with wild boar ragù, on the other hand, was bad: it tasted like a normal ragù and didn't taste like game at all. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The sciatt were very salty, and the bresaola was good.

16/11/2025: We stayed at this property for one night, and, aside from its location, I believe it doesn't even begin to meet the standards of a true four-star establishment. The room, advertised as "Superior," featured a double bed that was actually two single beds joined together with only a bedspread, an unacceptable solution for the category and price. Furthermore, we found the room to be poorly cleaned, with visible dust buildup especially on the coat hangers and the sealed toiletries. The hotel advertises a 24-hour reception, but when we requested a late checkout (even for a surcharge) on the morning of our departure, we were incomprehensibly told that "THE HOTEL CLOSES ON SUNDAYS AND WE COULD ONLY DELAY 30 MINUTES," raising serious concerns about the hotel's management and essential services. The breakfast service also proved lacking: although the receptionist claimed it was available until 10:30, when we arrived at 10:00, the selection was extremely limited. I understand the challenges of the low season, but this isn't a marginal reduction in service, but rather a lack of minimum standards of hospitality and cleanliness consistent with a 4-star rating. An urgent review of the standards offered is needed.
