19/10/2025: We stopped by for a midweek business lunch. What can I say? We tried a typical dish I wasn't familiar with, being from Veneto/Emilia: Fojade. Amazing! Then we ordered the French fries, delicious! Too bad we didn't have much time and couldn't try the other dishes and desserts.

08/09/2025: Intrigued by the fact that it was labeled as one of the best seafood restaurants in Milan, I wanted to try dinner here after a good workout in the gym. My choice immediately fell on the raw fish, tasting a lot of them, all really very good from the purple prawns to the classic ones as well as the tartare and scallops. The waiters are super professional and explain the various dishes to you. I felt so welcomed that I even left a nice tip. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

18/06/2025: I had the pleasure of photographing a couple at Grand Hotel Imperiale, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel offers a perfect mix of elegance and classic Lake Como charm. Beautiful lake views, stylish interiors, and a peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal setting for wedding photography. Would happily return anytime.

11/05/2025: I gave 3 stars because the value for money isn't there. Very beautiful and suggestive location with a swimming pool directly on the lake, the bar behind it is very nice but the deckchairs in the pool are old and uncomfortable from the 80s. The hotel garden is fabulous and well cared for but the hotel toilet in the basement is dirty and smelly already at 11 in the morning. Furthermore, the standard rooms are really small, you can barely move. Uncomfortable and old mattress and in the duvet cover instead of a duvet a wool blanket. When a customer spends certain amounts these details are really unpleasant. Come on put more effort into it it's such a nice hotel in a potential location

This is a restaurant born in the 1980s, a product of those years, when people ate healthy and natural food, where you didn't have to consult recipes by Artusi or scholars just to sit at the table, and years when cream in sauces and dishes was commonplace. If you come with an open mind, regardless of your political or social background, and understand that both the food and the decor of the restaurant are part of a bygone world, which can be viewed with open and curious eyes to discover that generation of Italians who, for better or worse, were part of our history, you can come here and perhaps you won't mind. Fair prices, generous portions and sauces, friendly service, a bit of background noise, but we're not in a library, lots of foreigners... and finally, the beautiful Mary who wanders around the dining room, checking and making sure everything is to your liking... She's the soul of the place and also the body (and what a body...), moving quickly and decisively throughout the evening, finally waiting for you at the cash register... and you discover that, despite the ads on websites where she appears tough and arrogant, she also has a heart of cream. Bravo...

11/10/2025: Located in Milan's Porta Venezia area, we visited this restaurant for a business dinner. The food was quite good, and the prices were average for the area. The menu is mostly meat-based, and the place is welcoming, with fast service and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

11/10/2025: I visited twice during my trip. The hospitality was truly delightful! I had the Fiorentina, Chateaubriand, and ribeye, all delicious. The spaghetti carbonara was truly exceptional. I recommend making a reservation in advance via WhatsApp.

14/10/2025: Mediocre Overall Impression Let's start with the positives. The restrooms were clean, the portion sizes were perfectly fine, and my friend was very happy with his pizza. Nevertheless, I wouldn't go back to this restaurant. The food was served at different times, so we had to eat separately. It wasn't very busy when we were there. My friend was almost finished with his pizza when my primi piatti finally arrived. Furthermore, his knife was so blunt that he couldn't even begin to cut his pizza. On top of that, my meat for the secondi piatti was only lukewarm when it was served and completely cold by the end. And to top it all off, the service was very poor. The waiter noticed that the table was shaking enormously as he led us to the table, but sat us down anyway and did nothing. The waitress who came later started taking our order, even though I was clearly not finished choosing. She later placed the bread without any eye contact or a "please" or "prego." ``` Individual errors and problems can never be ruled out. Overall, however, it wasn't enough for me to have a positive overall impression.

09/10/2025: I booked a table for two this evening. The gentleman on the phone wasn't very polite; he actually seemed annoyed, but when we actually arrived at the restaurant, things were completely different. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had spaghetti with clams, and I have to say, it was the best I've ever had. My girlfriend had tagliolini with vegetables, and I have to say, they were delicious too. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake with a soft center, and it was truly sublime. I think I'll dream about it tonight. Highly recommended. The restaurant's atmosphere was also spectacular, a perfect blend of sophisticated elegance and a homey feel. Absolutely 5 out of 5 stars, and I'd give more if I could.

14/09/2025: The food might not be the worst, but considering everything else, I wouldn't recommend it. You can't eat in peace, either because of the rather pushy beggars or men selling beads and other trinkets wandering between the tables, to which the staff completely ignores. The restrooms are disgusting. And all this is in contrast to the not-so-low prices and the cost. You can definitely find something much better in Como.

26/09/2025: A great surprise: high-quality preparations for traditional dishes, reinterpreted in a contemporary way with imagination but without distorting the essence of the original preparation. Exceptional quality raw materials. The chef is clearly an above-average talent. Generous portions. The chicken breast and suckling pig are noteworthy, but only for personal taste; the rest is on par. The service is courteous and efficient, although the frequent changes of waiters are a bit disorienting and do not contribute to the intimate and emotional experience the food offers. Two small negatives: the restaurant is relatively noisy due to the low, non-soundproofed ceilings; if you want a romantic meal with whispers, it's best to ask if there are free tables on the terrace. The only downside to the cuisine is the bread: absolutely not up to par with the other dishes. Poor dough, quickly kneaded, and low-quality flour. It's a shame, because some of the first courses deserve much more than just a nice tin. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

22/09/2025: Even though the kitchen closed in 10 minutes, they still welcomed us and served us two exceptional first courses. I can vouch for both the tagliolini with goose ragù and their casoncelli, the best I've ever had. Highly recommended, it's a shame we couldn't eat outside with a lake view.
