12/12/2025: The place is beautiful and delicious, too. It's a shame I could only try the pizza because among the appetizers, first courses, and second courses, there isn't a single vegetarian dish. A little inclusiveness wouldn't hurt :) In response from the owner: Good morning and thank you for your kind reply. Although I don't understand why a vegetarian dish is "off the menu," before ordering, I asked the very kind waiter why there were no vegetarian options. I was offered a plate of pasta with tomato sauce. I opted for the pizza 🍕🙂

16/12/2025: As a Milanese, I can't help but appreciate this restaurant, which upholds the city's traditions, from the menu to the ambiance, unchanged since the 1970s, and even the paintings. Truly beautiful. I recommend booking to enjoy the tranquility and professionalism of the entire staff, who are definitely well-trained and helpful. The portions are moderately priced. The set menu with cutlet is a must-try. See you soon!

16/11/2025: A traditional inn in Desenzano's historic center. Quality food made with local ingredients. Truly friendly staff and fast service. Great prices for the quality of the food. The only drawback is that the atmosphere is a bit noisy.

16/11/2025: I'd been wanting to eat at this tavern for a couple of years. I'm a good eater and a decent cook. As I passed this tavern in the center of Desenzano, I always smelled the inviting aroma of good food, and finally, on November 10th, I managed to go for lunch. There were three of us, and I chose the place to have lunch. Those with me trusted my instincts, and I wasn't wrong. I was greeted with a warm welcome. A beautiful young woman with long black hair and Asian features greeted me with a smile and sat me down even though I hadn't booked. While waiting for the other diners to arrive, I perused the menu and found many tempting options. In the end, when the others arrived, we chose the wrong carbonara; I chose the garlic pasta, while the other person chose the shin. Everything was truly as I'd always imagined, excellent quality. The dishes were simple, but simplicity always pays off, especially when they're of excellent quality and well-prepared. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, and warm, and the place is well-attended. I sincerely recommend it and will return, hoping to find the same warm welcome, culinary offerings, and quality at a good value that is so often lacking elsewhere, especially in Desenzano. I wanted to write this review, as I told the owner, because those who deserve it deserve it.

13/12/2025: A must try or to be avoided ? If you want to experiment another kind of Pizza compared to the "normal" Pizzas, well, here is the place for you and don't be afraid of the fact that the Pizzas are served by "piece" : It is insanely generous (1 slice is enough 😅😂) ! What makes it special is that the Pizzas are crunchy and very soft at the same time. 29/11/2025: We travelled here from the airport as we were staying nearby and noticed it was so busy with locals (we’re from UK). Our room wasn’t ready so we had a beer here - cold peroni then came back for lunch. The gorgeous young lady said she would find us a table inside asap and she did. Allessia came outside & welcomed us to a table where we enjoyed lovely penne alla genoese. This was so nice - we then returned the second day for olives and wine! A beautiful half litre of red for 8 euros which was beautiful regional wine (montepulciano for us). We then rebooked the 3rd day. They welcomed us by name and we enjoyed croquettes & carbonara, ziti ragu and a marinara pizza. I had to review this for the service and the lovely owners - reasonably priced and cosy and authentic.

17/11/2025: What can I say except thank you! Delicious, plentiful food, and incredibly friendly staff. Next time in Milan, this will be a must.

11/12/2025: A somewhat hidden restaurant in the historic center of Lecco. It was a holiday, and I hadn't booked. They found me a table in seconds. The atmosphere is simple and refined. Generous portions, excellent quality. Very attentive staff. Next time I have to try their pizzas!
