13/06/2025: Nothing to complain about. We arrived quite late in the evening and there was enormous flexibility to provide us with a snack. Beautiful spacious room with fantastic view, excellent mattress. Very extensive breakfast. Beautiful location in an authentic village, Santa Maria del Monte.

11/06/2025: We spent a weekend at Borducan combining an engagement we had in Varese with a stay in Santa Maria del Monte. We were very impressed by the location, the history and the atmosphere of the place. The view from our room was breathtaking. Some things could be improved (the parking lot for example is really tight and sometimes the service doors in the stairs leading to our room were open) but this does not take away from the magic of the place.

The restaurant is family-run, which was reflected in the attention and availability to all our requests, especially for our son. The menu offers an interesting mix of typical lake dishes and Valtellina specialties. We highly recommend booking a table by the window: at sunset the view of the lake is truly splendid.

29/06/2025: A restaurant with a fairly decent selection. The pizzas are authentic and quite good. However, I've eaten pizzas of equal quality in countless restaurants, including in Germany – but also better ones, especially in Italy. My wife had a "vegetable bowl" with mozzarella, which turned out to be a plain, rather uninspired salad of average quality. However, the portions are very generous. So if you want to fill yourself up and don't have particularly high culinary expectations, this is the place for you. If you want to eat truly good Italian food, you'll probably be disappointed here.

28/06/2025: We arrived at Lake Garda in the evening and wanted to end the evening here. The beer we ordered arrived immediately and then, unfortunately, there was no one to be seen 😣 After 45 minutes, my husband went in and paid for the beer. No one seemed interested 🤷🏻‍♀️ They didn't even ask. Everything was full inside and obviously waiting for service. No one was to be seen outside. It was 9:30 p.m. and we left the shop "hungry."

15/04/2025: Good value facility (11-13/04/25) with very friendly staff. Clean and with very welcoming common areas.

23/02/2025: We stayed just one night during the week to go to the old baths and we found this solution at a great price. We slept in the double room, which was nice and clean. The living room with the central fireplace was beautiful, where we ate an excellent breakfast. Recommended

17/06/2025: A very nice restaurant close to centrale main train station of milan. Centrally located it is quite easy to reach with public transport but not so far away from center. They specialise on Milanese cuisine with risotto ossobuco and several other meat dishes bit also have choices for fish and vegetarians. The service quality of food and taste all very good. Definitely a recommended place to go.

08/06/2025: A restaurant with friendly staff and excellent cuisine. It ranges from the down-to-earth (lukewarm salad with tripa and crunchy vegetables) to the sophisticated (stuffed capon or rabbit). Definitely recommended.

05/06/2025: Food is very mediocre and overpriced. The food takes way too long - we waited around 40 minutes for a risotto. If you look like an Eastern European the staff will automatically start speaking Russian to you, which is very unpleasant. I would not recommend.

14/05/2025: I had a great dining experience at Mame Bistrot! The food was absolutely delicious – I ordered the mixed grill platter, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and the presentation was spot on. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I’d recommend and look forward to visiting again!

28/06/2025: Recommended by owner of I Fiori Di Malpensa B&B. Unrushed service. Lovely interior. Excellent food. House wine was very nice and the Campari Spritz was well balanced. Flavorful tuna steak with a beet root sauce and an authentic pizza with just the right amount of char to the very flavorful crust.

28/06/2025: Excellent service, very friendly and attentive staff, they even kept our bags while we enjoyed our meal. The pizzas were very good at a very good price. Highly recommended!
