06/03/2026: We booked a table for three via email at the end of January for this evening, March 6th, and received a proper confirmation.
Tonight we show up at the restaurant and, after standing at the entrance for about ten minutes, we're told the table isn't available because the entire place is booked for an event.
We're told "we tried to call to let you know."
Which may be true, of course.
But when they don't answer the phone, do you have the reservation email? Did it take so long to write?
For me, this is a place to forget.

29/12/2025: We stayed at this hotel for four nights over Christmas and were pleasantly surprised by every little detail the owners thoughtfully incorporated, both in the rooms and in the breakfast rooms and restaurant. We were pampered by Elena in the morning with a delicious breakfast, featuring a wide selection of sweet and savory options. The room was spotless, with a fragrant aroma of home-made linens. Congratulations to Marcello and Maria for this little gem we stumbled upon almost by chance. Highly recommended.
18/10/2025: Staying for one night, great welcome:
Spacious room and everything was very clean and quiet.
At breakfast, we were greeted by a charming, smiling, and attentive lady. She made our experience wonderful, even drawing on our lattes 👌🏼

17/03/2026: I've tried their burger on two different occasions, and both times the experience was excellent. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good burger in Como. I always end up ordering the same burger because I love it so much, but someday I'd love to try their pizza too!

08/03/2026: Sunday lunch on Women's Day. The place was packed, with short wait times and delicious food. We ate excellent first and second courses, but I repeat, without any wait despite the crowds. Excellent value for money. Compliments to the Tradizionale.

15/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience. The restaurant enjoys a beautiful lake view, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The dinner was fabulous: very carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and truly excellent flavors. The service was also excellent, with a very knowledgeable young man who guided us through the wine selection with great professionalism. Definitely a place to return to and one I highly recommend.
09/12/2025: Excellent location, fantastic lake view, clean, tidy, the food in their restaurant was divine, top marks for the dessert.
The waitress, whose name I didn't ask, was friendly and welcoming.
But the owner, Nicola, was no exception.

21/01/2026: What can I say? The entree was sloppily placed. The risotto was precooked, the veggie burger tasteless. The owners were indifferent even when they confirmed they'd never see each other again. The prices were outrageous for the perceived quality. It used to be an excellent vegetarian restaurant...
The only plus was the very kind waitress.
06/12/2025: The food is excellent, the location is beautiful, and there's plenty of wood.
Perhaps the wine could use a little more attention; we received a Bolgheri red at 12-13°C.

12/03/2026: Unfortunately, I found a piece of plastic in the pizza... thank goodness I noticed it in time. I didn't like the pizza anyway, plastic aside. When it came to the bill, he only discounted it by €1.50 despite the inconvenience. Too bad.
Thank you, Papillon, for replying. To be honest, when I picked up the dish, I mentioned the piece of plastic I'd found in the pizza. I didn't feel it was necessary to mention it again at checkout.
07/03/2026: My meal was a joke. I ordered a steak for €28. They didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. It was medium in some places, almost well-done in others... How is that even possible? It wasn't seasoned except for a little salt, of course. The thing wasn't even 200g, hardly filling. Side dishes with a €28 steak? None! I ordered rosemary potatoes for €6. They were just quartered potatoes, drizzled with a little rosemary oil, and thrown in a deep fryer or something – basically bad fried potatoes. They tasted like nothing. €34 total for a meal that was far from satisfying. But hey, whatever...

01/03/2026: We stayed here as a couple with a small child. Some friends booked us a room here. It was an absolutely negative experience. The room was filled with the smell of cooking from the restaurant downstairs. My wife slept upstairs with sheets that smelled of sweat and found a bedbug. The bathroom was full of cobwebs. I slept downstairs, and unfortunately, I find it unhygienic to sleep without sheets but only with a duvet, especially when it's obviously not clean. Absolutely negative experience.
02/01/2026: A lunch that was worth the trip: quality, professionalism, and expertise in a truly lovely, bright, and welcoming venue with a lake view. Compliments to Chef Matteo and the dining room staff. Thank you so much.

08/03/2026: Lokation akkogliente, servizio professionale, menù impekkabile, kantina ridotta ma mooolto buona. Prezzi nella media ma direi ottimi se si konsidera la bontà dei piatti. Impossibile trovare parkeggio, konsiglio di arrivare un po' prima 😉 KAIMANO!!
18/02/2026: Experience from 2025: I ordered a Chianina beef burger with potatoes, and they served me a slice of Chianina beef.
It's a pointless burger: not only visibly sad, but also lacking the usual ingredients.
Updated to 2026: The presentation of the burger hasn't changed; for this reason, this time I opted for strozzapreti alla puttanesca with octopus, which was very good!
