27/04/2026: My stay at Hotel Villa Aurora in Lezzeno was outstanding. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a wide variety of fresh items to choose from each morning. The views over Lake Como and the surrounding mountains were absolutely spectacular and made the setting feel truly special. The service throughout my stay was friendly and efficient, and the entire hotel was clean, well maintained, and easy to find. Staff were consistently attentive, receptive, and very helpful with any questions or requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here agaIn’

27/04/2026: At first, we were a little apprehensive when we arrived in the middle of the night. The parking lot seemed small, and there were a lot of people outside the hotel, which suggested there might be some noise. In the end, 10 minutes later, everyone had left, and anyway, our room was across the street and opened directly onto a terrace overlooking the lake. The staff was extremely helpful. The restaurant is very good. We weren't able to take advantage of all the hotel's amenities because we had planned to do some sightseeing, but if we were to do it again, we would definitely set aside a day to enjoy the stand-up paddleboards available to guests. As an added bonus, we were able to rent a boat (no license required) from the hotel, which allowed us to discover the lake from a different perspective.

18/07/2026: We ran away after they told us that the lake fish was sea bream and sea bass, but on the other hand they make fresh things on the spot, it's a historic restaurant that serves Argentinean-style prawns.

The restaurant manager is very professional and kind, the waiters are always smiling, and you can't wait to start the evening. Not to mention the chef, whose delicious dishes will make you daydream. The location overlooking the lake is spectacular. I recommend it to anyone who wants to unwind, pamper themselves, and enjoy a unique experience.

26/04/2026: I had dinner last night with my wife during our hotel stay. The location is very beautiful and well-maintained. We chose the tasting menu: the dishes were good, well-presented, and with adequate portions. Two small points: the "bonbon and drageed" dessert was a bit disappointing, as it was served as a plate of about 25 sugared almonds, which wasn't very appealing, even visually. Furthermore, the service could be improved, still seeming a bit uninspired. Overall, however, it was a positive experience.

The zucchini timbale was very delicate yet flavorful. The sourdough bread crouton is a bit like a country bruschetta, with various ingredients that make it appetizing. The pork cheek, cooked for 12 hours, flaked in the mouth with a truly delicious softness. The rare sliced ​​steak was also excellent. All accompanied by an excellent 2020 Sangiovese and Merlot blend. To finish, the typical dessert: a regional tart with blueberry jam. The staff were truly helpful and kind, always smiling and super welcoming, especially considering my food allergies. 24/06/2025: Il locale è molto bello, curato, dentro e fuori, pulito e ben arredato. Ogni tanto io e il mio collega abbiamo cenato o pranzato, ci siamo trovati bene anche per la qualità e la varietà dei cibi. Però dopo ieri sera non credo che ci torneremo. Porzioni scarse: due antipasti, gnocchi alla romana fuori menù veramente miseri, due dolci ( che fatica seguire il modo in cui il cameriere lì elenca, glieli ho fatti ripetere tre volte), due calici di vino servito aperto, senza nemmeno assaggio. Il totale di 99 euro è stato veramente il colmo. Ho mangiato pesce di alta qualità in località marine di livello e non ho speso mai questa cifra. Mi dispiace, si può fare di più nelle porzioni, di meno nei prezzi e parlare un italiano comprensibile.

I write these words with a hint of melancholy, after returning to what for me, since time immemorial, has been not just a restaurant, but a true refuge. I've been coming to Rucola since I was a boy; it saw me become a man, a husband, and a father. It's where I've celebrated the most important milestones in my family, from my children's first communion, with the certainty that we would be welcomed not as customers, but as longtime friends. Yesterday, sadly, I strongly felt the absence of what made this place special: Biagio's warm and ever-present welcome. The memories of Maurizio's Inter Milan that colored the shelves. That historic cuisine, made of unchanging flavors that tasted of home and security. Food is important, but the owners' smile was the secret ingredient that completed every dish. Entering La Rucola meant disconnecting from everything and feeling protected by a management team that put their heart and soul into it. ​I want to send a heartfelt greeting to all the people who have shaped the history of this restaurant and to all the customers who, like me, shared a part of their journey at those tables. 27/05/2026: Every time I pass through Milan, this restaurant is a must-visit. I often eat raw fish, and this place has some of the best quality raw fish in Italy. The tartare, especially the scallop tartare, is unsurpassed in freshness and flavor. If you add the kindness of the owners and the intimate warmth of the place, you have a place not to be missed. 26/05/2026: I visited with great excitement during my trip to Milan. The server was very kind, and the scallop dish, pasta, and dessert I ordered were all excellent. However, there was one disappointing aspect during the meal. A person who appeared to be the chef circulated around all the other tables, meticulously checking if the meal was alright, but I got the impression that they were intentionally avoiding our table. I believe that the same level of service should be provided to all visitors, and because of this, I felt unwelcome as a traveler, leaving a somewhat unpleasant ending to the meal. Given how good the food was, I respectfully request improvements in the service aspect.

01/08/2026: We visited Pomiroeu for lunch as part of the Gourmantico initiative. The setting is really curated, with an elegant design and great atmosphere. We ate inside, but there’s also a lovely terrace outside. The dishes were well executed, with high-quality ingredients and good presentation, though we were hoping for something more distinctive — nothing felt particularly special or refined enough to stand out. Service was quick and attentive, and the staff was happy to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions.

13/04/2026: My experience yesterday was negative. I'm sorry we've had a good time in the past, but I think the chef has changed. I brought guests and unfortunately, I didn't make a good impression. Long wait times, tough meat, and my grandmother makes better fish dishes. I don't recommend it.

11/04/2026: The trattoria certainly has potential, but currently has several issues that compromise the overall experience. The organization leaves much to be desired: the service is confusing and uncoordinated, with wait times that aren't always justified. Another negative is the drinks, which seem watered down and poorly prepared, far from what one would expect even in a casual setting. As for the food, the experience starts out well: the appetizers are tasty and well-prepared, suggesting a high-quality meal. However, from the subsequent courses onward, the quality declines, settling at a decent level but without any particular merits. In short, a trattoria that could significantly improve, especially by working on its organization and consistent quality in the kitchen.
