22/02/2026: Best Discovery during Winter olimpics games in Milan! It happened to me to get there quite often and it's been a blast! Everyday a different menu but God it's Always good! Great food, great service and the best vibes. Thanks to luca and Martina, Always smiling and welcoming people. I Wish i had more spots like this in Paris! Open sight kitchen Is Always a good idea, love the smiles from the chefs as well. Well done, San Mauri!

21/02/2026: I went to this restaurant for a business lunch with a colleague. I chose it myself, intrigued by the numerous social media posts from friends raving about it. The atmosphere is certainly pleasant and refined, although I found it a bit too dark for lunch. Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by the service. The welcome was cold and unfriendly; the waitress literally dropped (I'd almost say threw) the menus on the table, saying there were only two portions of gnocchi available. After about thirty seconds, she returned, rather hastily asking what we had chosen. Even when I asked for the wine list, the tone remained unprofessional and hasty, with a decidedly impolite "So, have you chosen?" For a place that presents itself as refined and exclusive on social media, I would have expected a very different level of customer service. We chose two fairly standard dishes: nothing particularly memorable. I was particularly disappointed with the cutlet, which in the Instagram photos looks much more inviting and refined than the one served at the table. Overall, the restaurant conveys an image of exclusivity and sophistication on social media, but the actual experience was more like that of a touristy trattoria, with sluggish service. A real shame, because my expectations were definitely high.

07/03/2026: I was there last night, and despite the late hour, they welcomed us kindly. The guy at the cashier was friendly, and the waiter in the dining room was attentive to our every need. Good fish, nice atmosphere. The price was in line with the dishes we chose. I'd go back!

01/03/2026: Very good pizzas, excellent value, and friendly, attentive service. The place is welcoming and clean. We'll definitely be back, especially to try the fish dishes, which looked very inviting.

22/02/2026: We went to Paranza for dinner with friends for the first time. The dishes were delicious, generous, and the chocolate meringue was enormous 😍 compared to other restaurants that halve the portions. The waiters were very kind and very accommodating to every request. We'll be back, thank you. 😁 We'll definitely be back.

01/03/2026: A welcoming place, a pleasant atmosphere, and a wide selection of food, especially pizzas and those seeking the coveted "gluten-free" and "lactose-free" options. There's also a wide selection of desserts, from vegan to lactose-free and gluten-free. Excellent service, and it was a pleasure to meet "Luca," the ironic and super-friendly waiter, at our table. Highly recommended!

09/03/2026: Despite the many positive reviews, for us, the experience didn't live up to expectations: nothing to complain about the wonderful tables set on the lawn, the view (despite the constant arrival of ferries), or the service, but for me, what really didn't live up to expectations was the quality of the food. The fish appetizer was absolutely salty and seemed too dry. The grilled char was quite good, but I've had better char with better bones at places with less of a view. As for the tiramisu semifreddo, I'd say it was more than semifreddo, but rather frozen. For two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two desserts, water, and wine, we spent €100 for two. I think the price is absolutely excessive considering the quality of the food.

09/03/2026: This a great place people are so nice and the food is not just tradition is special, means: I’ll try something u never tried and is cool! We went in a non touristic time with our dog with a wonderful view on the island I mean.., great!! U need to do this experience guys

18/03/2026: Unfortunately, it's no longer the pizza it once was...I hate to leave this review, but before, with the wood-fired oven, the pizza was cooked better and had that burnt finish that made it much more rustic and flavorful. Now the outer crust is just burned, and the center is a bit undercooked and therefore less digestible. Long wait times.

18/03/2026: An extraordinary pizza, thick, soft, and cooked in a pan in a good wood-fired oven. "Abundant" on the menu refers to the size of the slice, and the one with stewed onion is typical here and masterfully tasty. Only two small ones, and the tables are like those in an '80s pub. So, I recommend making a reservation and getting there early!

07/02/2026: We stopped here during our motorcycle trip through northern Italy. They saved us from starvation! Great service. Did we finish sometime after midnight? I can't remember :-D We will definitely stop by again next time.

11/01/2026: I went for lunch, and it was absolute hell. Waiters take orders but don't know the dishes are sold out. You wait, and after half an hour they tell you there's not even a side dish to complete the dish. Then, after 10 minutes, they tell you there's no main course either. They bring you the side dish when you've already finished the main course. It was truly disorganized. I was absolutely devastated! It was supposed to be a pleasure, but it turned out to be a constant source of indignation.

The quality of the dishes is excellent: fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and generous portions. They don't serve you bland cafeteria fare: you can taste the care behind every choice. The self-service restaurant is efficient, well-organized, and offers a variety of options, perfect for a quick but tasty lunch break. The atmosphere is simple, the service is quick, and everything is clean. In short: highly recommended if you want to eat well in the center of Como without breaking the bank. I'll gladly return!

02/01/2026: I attended the New Year's Eve brunch at the Acanto del Principe di Savoia restaurant and it was a truly outstanding experience. The cuisine was excellent, the menu refined, and the ingredients were top-quality. The service was impeccable, elegant, and consistently attentive. The atmosphere is sophisticated and perfectly in keeping with the prestigious location. The only small aspect that could be improved was the management of the welcome and the queues to enter the dining room, which at times made the welcome a bit less fluid. Overall, an absolutely positive experience and highly recommended.

25/02/2026: We've been several times...in the summer, in the cool shade under the trees...in the winter, inside...quality food and very friendly staff...we'll definitely be back.
