Large, classic room with a generous breakfast. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. There was a secure parking area for motorcycles.

I had a great time, I chose the house appetizer and the excellent, high-quality cut of meat.

Stayed with family over the weekend of March 6-8. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming: the common areas were just a bit "lived in," yet well-maintained and clean. The room was cozy and spacious: a comfortable bed, an excellent and manageable temperature, and amenities beyond our expectations. The location was perfect: right on the edge of the pedestrian area. The restaurant is fantastic, and after our first dinner, we never changed because of the authentic and balanced flavor (tagliatelle with meat sauce, ossobuco with polenta, a welcome appetizer, and complimentary limoncello). It's clear that the entire team has put a lot of care, professionalism, and grace into everything. Excellent value. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of dried fruit and cereals, and on Sundays, cakes galore. You can tell when someone loves their job. If I were to return to Varese 100 times, I'd always stay at the Hotel Bologna.

The restaurant is always welcoming and offers excellent cuisine. The approach to appetizers has changed, and they are now à la carte.

Excellent breakfast, excellent cleanliness, slightly dated furnishings. Original style.

Very nice hotel right in the city center with spacious and very warm rooms. The double bed was large and very comfortable, with fairly comfortable pillows. The bathroom was spacious and warm, with the only flaw being the shower stall's water supply, which was difficult to close. It's a shame that on my last day, some of my towels were taken away, which took away a significant amount of comfort. The staff was helpful, even when I asked to book the room for the following day due to the general transport strike that left me stuck in Varese. They were very kind and let me use the same room. Breakfast was good, although the lactose-free options could be improved. The only flaw is the reception: there's never anyone there, and when you need help in the evening around dinnertime, you can call for hours, go downstairs countless times, but no one will answer. A shame. The in-room fridge and complimentary water are convenient. Recommended.
