13/10/2024: Where to begin? We had a group of 16 visiting Lake Como for our wedding in June and could not have asked for a better experience. From arrival to checkout (5 days total), the staff were attentive, warm, friendly, and the biggest help with such a big week. Cristina especially was so amazing to work with. From coordinating our lodging for so many people to helping plan and organize our wedding dinner, she made the process so smooth from half a world away (we’re based in the U.S.). The location was perfect. Lezzeno is much quieter than Como or Bellagio but still has stunning views. The water ferry port was less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. If you’re driving or planning to arrange private transfers to get around, Lezzeno is about an hour drive from Como and 10-15 minutes from Bellagio. The hotel itself was beautiful; very much a classic Italian villa style. It was well maintained and clean with daily housekeeping. The views from the hotel are incredible, I highly recommend getting a suite or a lakeview room with a balcony (we personally stayed in their suite with a patio). We were impressed with the complimentary breakfast every morning which had plentiful arrangements of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, and more! My personal favorite was the self-serve espresso machine which made the most delicious cappuccinos. The restaurant, which is a separate building across the street from the café, had some of the best food we have had in Italy. The bruschetta was our favorite which we enjoyed at every meal and family members raved about the pear ravioli. You could also never miss with the pizza. The staff were very accommodating for such a large group and took great care as we had a couple of dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten-free) for some of our guests. As mentioned, we held our wedding dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was truly magical. We selected their meat menu, and each course was perfect. The hotel created personalized menus for the dinner which we kept copies of and will be a cherished keepsake. It’s difficult to fully encapsulate how great this hotel is, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing stay when visiting Lake Como. We’ll be back for our 10-year anniversary, Salute!

11/10/2024: We booked this hotel last minute as our campervan's roof was leaking, it was an emergency for us and we managed to book 3 nights on the same day. The hotel staff couldn't have been any more helpful! They helped us find a dry place to store our van, gave us a ladder, made sure we had everything we needed. They were so lovely to us. We can't thank them enough for rescuing us. We also visited the restaurant which was amazing. The breakfast was also very tasty. We hired a boat from the hotel - the guy was really friendly. 10/10 would stay here again! Thank you so much Aurora!!

07/11/2024: In the center of Mandello and with a lake view, Mamma Ciccia offers spacious, clean and well-furnished rooms. The attached restaurant is absolutely worth trying... excellently prepared and prepared dishes in a charming and welcoming environment. Staff of rare kindness and prices absolutely average for the service offered. 100% recommended!

14/10/2024: We went to celebrate the 50th anniversary of my wife's parents, I must say, as far as the food is concerned, everything was very good, fresh and top quality, even the pizza that my son took was very, very good, crunchy and well cooked! Also regarding the 40 euro menu my wife and I took, all based on fish.... Truly truly TOP starting from the tasting of the mixed seafood appetizer on the first and second course...... I have to tell the truth I would have done a second tour 😂😂😂 but come on, there will definitely be another time to return, because I highly recommend it to everyone!!! As regards the service, I must say that the staff were very quick, smart and always available for any request. Congratulations to all the staff of the Spaccanapoli Pizzeria Restaurant!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏As for the environment, are the details very particular and nice?: The thread with the hanging Napoli shirts, the fake balcony with the person looking out , the sentences written perfectly on the walls.... All details that struck me a lot and then the two very, very touching sentences with the face of the legendary Diego Armando Maradona next to them..... 10/12/2024: siamo stati in questo locale nel week end, posto particolare molto decorato ma comunque piacevole, presente menù carne/pesce abbiamo provato vari piatti, alcuni con influenza calabresi, tutto discreto ma nulla di entusiasmante, il piatto migliore la cotoletta milanese. Prezzo elevato ma in linea con i costi di Milano.

I found out about this place via the internet and I ate very well... very fresh porcini mushrooms... accompanied by an excellent Calabrian red wine... very attentive service to the needs of the diners... thanks to the waitress Maria for its sweetness... I will be back soon to try the fish cuisine.... thanks, keep it up...

04/11/2024: Excellent location with beautiful view of the square. Good service. The spaghetti with clams is of medium quality. I really liked everything else. Salted dorado was fantastic.

09/12/2024: We arrived a little late but they let us sit anyway. A great experience. The marubini with three broths are a must try, but everything was of excellent quality. It would be worth going there several times to try all the dishes offered... Very friendly and helpful dining room staff, both the kind waitress (whose name I don't remember) and Abdul.

23/12/2024: Locale assolutamente super. Dall'arredamento al nome delle pizze è un susseguirsi di sorpese anche esilaranti, personale gentilissimo e gran qualità delle portate. Assolutamente consigliato.

18/12/2024: nice little place furnished in a spectacular way! excellent for a quick lunch, quick service and welcoming staff, the first course is plentiful and tasty, the only flaw is their "grilled steak"... it's nothing more than a simple slice of beef, otherwise impeccable!

02/11/2024: La Fenice was recommended to us by our holiday home landlord and we were looking forward to a relaxing evening. Unfortunately our visit turned out differently than we had hoped. The reception was rather reserved and the information that there was no longer any pizza was given to us in a curt tone. Unfortunately, the table in the awning was quite loud, which did not contribute to the desired relaxed atmosphere. The menu consisted of a simple laminated sheet that was placed rather carelessly on the table. The request for a wine list was also met with incomprehension by the next waiter, which further dampened our mood. Overall, we never really felt welcomed or cared for during the visit and ultimately decided to leave the restaurant without eating or drinking. An unfortunate experience that we have never experienced in this form before.

14/12/2024: Sono stato più volte in questo ristorante ed è sempre un piacere tornarci. Locale molto bello e accogliente. Personale molto gentile. Cibo tradizionale eccezionale! Abbiamo preso i casoncelli sia di carne sia tradizionali, buonissimi! Ma è con il roast beef che si raggiunge l'apice, talmente tenero che masticare non era nemmeno necessario, semplicemente squisito! Molto buono anche il tiramisù. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Se siete a Brescia dovete assolutamente provarlo! PS: consiglio di provare assolutamente anche il coniglio ripieno, che avevo già assaggiato in precedenti visite.

07/12/2024: I came here the other evening with some friends and we ate very well from the first and second courses (tagliatelle with mushrooms, casoncelli, sliced ​​meat and braised meat with polenta) up to the desserts (fantastic tiramisu and sbrisolona). Very nice and comfortable location in the city center and fantastic service.
