10/04/2025: Pranzo del lunedì Locale pieno Elegante e profumato Carta dei vini da capogiro, non riesco a capire perchè altre carte vini della zona ricevano menzioni speciali e premi e questa no. Servizio curato però il titolare ha un bel caratterino Mangiato menù di pesce ben fatto, pulito, rapito, buono. Consigliato

16/06/2025: Definitely homely and quality flavors, meatballs a little particular in taste (but it remains subjective) risotto alla milanese in two versions both excellent, very good cutlet but too much salt and if you overlap them unfortunately the bottom part goes soft and it's a shame. But good, keep it up!!

16/06/2025: "the pleasure of doing things well" this is, in short, the message received... A 60's style restaurant with taste and themed background music... Very polite and attentive but not intrusive service... Food prepared with love and with quality ingredients.... What can I say.... A highly recommended experience!... We had an encore two days later. P.s.: risotto alla milanese with osso buco: excellent.

15/06/2025: Quiet place on Lake Como. As a restaurant it is very touristy with high prices. A Margherita costs 8.50 euros and it is not exactly the best pizza I have eaten in my life. There is the possibility of taking desserts too... but only the possibility, because a tiramisu costs more than a Margherita!

12/06/2025: We had a fantastic Lake Como trip the summer of 2024! One of the great finds was the Rodrigo Ristorante Pizzeria. Our youngest daughter has celiac, so finding places that have both gluten free options and take precautions to not cross-contaminate can be difficult. She enjoyed pasta one night and pizza another night, and the owner took photos to show the pizza in a separate pan. He was amazing and really cared about our daughter to make sure everything was done right. All the food was great and the service was outstanding! Please stop by if you're near the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

22/06/2025: Restaurant in the city centre of Brescia, they serve a variety of dishes from the middle east. Very good quality,and plenty of options. The staff is kind and the service was fast. We got fried rolls, halloumi, mosakhan and Arabic beer Beirut! They also have typical sweets like kunafa. Recommended !!

20/01/2025: I tried three pizzas in Milan and this one was by far the best. Unfortunately, taking a short break from eating means that the staff immediately shows up and wants to take the plate away :) which was quite strange for me. Nevertheless, I recommend it.

24/06/2025: We were so excited for our reservation at Ristorante Acanto but got turned away because my partner was wearing shorts (it was 38 degrees outside). This is not a welcoming place. The food might be great - but we will never know. This place is not for people who want to relax while enjoying a meal! We went down the road to La Societa Milano and had an amazing Michelin Star meal with fabulous service. Highly recommend La Societa Milano.

The photo shows a signature Milanese dish — braised veal shank (ossobuco) served over saffron risotto. The ossobuco was very flavorful and tender, and the sauce was rich, slightly sour, and deep. The bone marrow in the middle is the soul of the whole dish, smooth and fragrant, and it is super good when mixed with risotto! The veal shank was tender and flavorful, with a rich and slightly tangy sauce full of depth. The bone marrow in the center is the soul of the dish — creamy and savory, perfect when mixed into the risotto. The risotto was beautifully golden, delicately perfumed with saffron. The rice was perfectly al dente and full of buttery, savory goodness. If you’re visiting Milan, you must try this dish — it’s not just a meal, it’s a true cultural experience of Italian cuisine!

20/06/2025: I have been going to this historic trattoria pizzeria in Corso San Gottardo in Milan for years and I have to say that it is always a truly pleasant experience! The owner Mary and the staff are always friendly, professional and welcoming, making me feel at home. The food is simply excellent, with traditional Milanese dishes prepared with care and attention to detail. The pizza slices are always cooked to perfection and have a unique and incredible flavour. But what makes the difference is the service: all the waiters were smiling and helpful, always ready to answer my questions and advise me on the best dishes. In short, I highly recommend this trattoria pizzeria to anyone looking for an authentic and welcoming culinary experience in Milan. The quality-price ratio is excellent and the service is simply impeccable. I will definitely be returning for many years to come.

22/06/2025: My business associate and I stayed at the Hotel Osteria della Pista in late June. We had a very nice experience! First, they have their own shuttle van service to MXP, which was very handy. We had a day off and their shuttle driver took us to and picked us up from MXP so we could take the express train into Milan. In Milan, we went to the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, which we highly recommend. In addition to being a nice hotel, they have an outstanding restaurant, which we also highly recommend! Everyone was very nice and fluent in English. During the trip, we also explored several restaurants near the hotel and had wonderful meals. Some of the smaller restaurants did not speak much English, but there were no problems, and we had wonderful dishes. Of note was the Sempione Hotel Ristorante, which is owned by the same family as the Osteria della Pista. We found the shuttle van driver to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. Next time we are in town, this will be our go to!

30/05/2025: I'll start with the positive point, clearly the price. Do you get pizzas for an average of €6? However, you shouldn't be picky. The crust is thin. The condiments aren't very good, and the welcome isn't very warm either. So, ultimately, I recommend it if you're on a budget. Otherwise, it's best to move on.

26/05/2025: The place is absolutely fine. Lots of seats inside and outside. You can feel that it is not the most modern place, but there is nothing to complain about the decor. The food was good, although I expected more wow when it comes to pizza or pasta, for example. The prices are okay, but you are charged €5 for service. The service was very nice, despite language problems we managed to understand everything and order properly. I can recommend it.
