05/07/2026: I'm sorry but I didn't enter this restaurant because I charged my electric car in the nearby parking lot and went for a walk in the nearby park which has a picnic area.

30/06/2026: Generous portions and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the trout because I preferred to eat it warm. The welcome was truly pampering, and despite their well-deserved star, the quality and value for money were still respectable. Coming off a somewhat disappointing experience, not with them, I was truly happy to try another Michelin-starred restaurant and to have found the Green Lantern. We ate well, drank well, and the owner told us the story of this fantastic restaurant. Definitely worth a visit! We can't wait to return for the tasting menu!

14/06/2026: Hoping we can use the outdoor seating. In bad weather, the place is small and you'll find yourself packed table after table. The waiters are always ready to take your plate away from you. It happened to me, I hadn't even finished lunch!

26/07/2026: It's absolutely beautiful here, right at the top of the funicular. We were treated to complimentary Aperol Spritz and lots of delicious snacks. Unbeatable, and the view is simply stunning. The staff is very friendly. We'd love to come back again.

26/05/2026: I went for lunch today, my first visit to Vigevano. I stopped in the beautiful Piazza Ducale for a quick lunch and, after searching for the restaurant that I liked the most, I chose Rinascimento: both for the menu, which I found very inspiring, and for the friendliness of the waiter who served me, Aquila. I started with a small aperitif at 11:30, since the kitchen was still closed, accompanied by a glass of Franciacorta. Next, I chose an appetizer of mixed seafood crudités. For my entrée, I received a shrimp wrapped in kataifi pastry on a bed of red onions: truly delicious and carefully prepared. Next came the fish appetizer, and to finish, a cool and refreshing sorbet, perfect for today's scorching hot day (37 degrees!). It was a truly pleasant lunch break, not only for the location and the quality of the food, but also for the kindness and professionalism of Aquila and his colleagues. As soon as I have the chance, I will definitely come back!

10/04/2026: Very very good food. Across three courses there was consistently excellent quality; baccala, polipo, coniglio, maialino, tiramisu. I would dine there again without a second's reservation. My only small disappointment is €23 for a cheese plate is an exaggeration; the 5 cheeses were OK but none were exceptional (not Bagoss or even parmigiano vacche rosse)

05/04/2026: First time in Sirmione, expectations low due to the tourism, but instead we found this restaurant at 10:30 PM. The place is elegant yet simple, and the staff is courteous and knowledgeable, above all! The dishes are refined in both their ingredients and flavors. We finished with a reinterpretation of pastiera and a dessert called umami... sensational. The price was in line with the quality, without hesitation.

11/07/2026: Beautiful setting. Food pretty good. But experience dreadful. Totally understaffed so I had to keep getting up to order something. The vermouth pairing option with the seafood is ridiculous. Does NOT pair at all. The lady who runs the place accuses me of not being a restaurant guest and that I shldnt use the toilets after she just took my order. Racial profiling? Hardly ever have I been so insulted in the midst of other guests and onlookers. Her staff had to correct her. She promises to comp my food, then forgets, then tries to take 20% off the bill then a bit more. I walk out frankly in disgust…

The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy! PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!

26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.
