16/11/2025: Excellent food, but the staff is unprofessional and uninformed. The mixed grill was truly lacking in both quantity and quality. The prices were exorbitant, with a cover charge of €4.50. We won't be returning.

A very warm and welcoming place.
Impeccable service.
The quality of the food is very high.
I had a wonderful evening eating and drinking very well.

16/11/2025: Nice little place. My partner had the spaghetti alla chitarra and it was very good. My paccheri with squid ink was a little less so, but that was my personal preference, not because there was anything wrong with it! I just chose poorly.
The second course, grilled lake fish, was truly excellent, delicious.
Fantastic tiramisu.
The staff was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable.
12/11/2025: A wonderful dinner, with good wine and good beer. The duck was delicious, cooked to perfection, and the tiramisu was exceptional!

01/09/2025: After hours of walking we stopped for lunch with friends....I ate some top-notch pizzoccheri and a tender venison steak....the owner was very friendly and helpful....I will definitely return, also for the wonderful view.

Trattoria D'Ambrosio da Giuliana is a true Bergamo institution, a historic and lively venue beloved by all. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, with unique decor filled with Atalanta memorabilia.
Here you can enjoy authentic Bergamo tradition, such as casoncelli and polenta, served in generous portions and at very fair prices. Signora Giuliana, with her infectious energy, makes the experience unique.
In short, it's the perfect place for a genuine lunch or dinner, with excellent value.

05/11/2025: Luckily we found room for 8 people in this very nice restaurant, the starter consisted of really good cold cuts and cheeses, scallops, cheeks, sliced fish ravioli, everything very good, super friendly staff, we met Enrica the chef, who is really very good in the kitchen, parking on the street in front of the Cocquio Trevisago station, normal prices.

The food was excellent, the service was precise and punctual, and the atmosphere was welcoming.
I absolutely recommend it.

The place isn't very large, but it's nice and well-kept, and it's fully stocked, so it's a bit crowded and noisy.
The fish was excellent; we chose scialatielli alla liparota, and the mussels were excellent, very fresh, as were the clams and prawns.
We also had pasta with sardines, tasty and delicate.
Afterwards, we shared a mix of calamari and prawns, peeled, tender, and delicious.
Finally, we had cannoli with very fresh ricotta.
In short, a good lunch!
06/10/2025: I really liked it. The staff is friendly and professional, and the dishes, mostly seafood, are delicious and reasonably priced. The chef is very friendly and quick. We'll be back and will recommend it.

20/11/2025: Delicious!!! As always! Went for lunch today with a friend who absolutely loves offal. We were thinking of a €25 lunch menu, but then one thing led to another, and we decided on the PORCHERIE tasting menu: spectacular! Each course was better than the last. A succession of explosions of flavors in our mouths... a mix of delicate and bold dishes. We were truly amazed by Chef Matteo and his menu.
Going for lunch and treating ourselves to a moment of friendship doesn't happen every time, but we promised ourselves we'd do it more often! So much for girlfriends and wives!
We spent just the right amount for what we ate and what they prepared for us. Attentive and friendly service.
Highly recommended.
18/11/2025: The atmosphere is dark and twilight-like in every sense: from the colors of the rooms to the chef's attitude, who is brilliant with friends and aloof with the occasional diner, to the cuisine, rich in chiaroscuro, with the main courses taking precedence.
Personally, I found some dishes spot-on and others presumptuous and surrealistic.
I personally won't be returning.

23/10/2025: I stopped by before heading to Milano Centrale Station.
They greeted me warmly from the morning.
I chose a variety of items, and they were all delicious.
Unlike other tourist destinations, the prices were reasonable.
It was roughly twice as good as famous Korean bakeries, but half the price.
Tram No. 2 runs on the main road in front.
For those heading to the Naviglio Canal, taking Tram No. 2 and getting off nearby and walking about 200 meters was the most efficient way to get there, without having to transfer.
