Trattoria Ressi In Pavia

Trattoria Ressi is hands down the best restaurant in Pavia, hidden away in a quiet alleyway near the city hall, lies the best local restaurant the city can offer, with food, warmth, and hospitality out of this world. Very highly recommended to everyone looking for a place to dine in.

Located a bit off the main tourist area and busy mainly for dinner, we chose this place for a lunch. It was nice, quiet (as we were the only guests), and cool in the summer heat. We shared an appetizer, shared a primo (excellent Risotto), and had two main dishes, with water and two glasses of wine. All was done very well, and we really enjoyed relaxing with some good meal.

Very good well prepared food, combined with a good glass of wine and a nice homemade digestive. Set in a quiet part of the old town.

Food, service, environment... All excellent, without even counting the availability and preparation in the kitchen, where (subject to reservation) they are willing and more than capable of creating vegan alternatives that will win over even the most skeptical diners. Nice wine list.

Excellent service and excellent cuisine. Welcoming environment and friendly, helpful staff. Prices normal. The risotto with octopus and clams is excellent. Generous portion. The chef is very good. Advised.

Prenotato con The Fork, 20% di sconto. Locale carino, accogliente, professionalità nel servizio. Buona carta dei vini. Uno di noi ha mangiato seppia ripiena come antipasto e polpo con patate cheaps. Ha mangiato bene. Io ho preso un’ottima selezione di caprini! Abbiamo preso riso carnaroli con polpo e acqua di mare di vongole. L’acqua di mare si sentiva, ma in due non abbiamo apprezzato perché non aveva gran sapore, ma si sentiva molto il riso. Meno altri sapori. Il polpo che ha preso l’altro commensale evidentemente era stato cuncinato insieme a quello della collega servito prima ed era freddo come le patate. Discreto l’Oltrepó Pavese. Senza dessert. I prezzi ci sono sembrati da subito alti (125 diviso tre) compreso lo sconto! Quindi benino perché alcuni piatti sono stati buoni, altri un po’ meno. Scegliendo altri primi probabilmente potrebbe essere più apprezzabile

Good cuisine, top quality food and wines, very good quality-price ratio, all in an elegant, clean but at the same time informal environment. Friendly, trained, attentive and non-invasive staff. Definitely recommended.
