09/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant today and I have to say it's excellent. I was with a relative and we had: 1 Versace seafood salad with arugula and olives €16, 1 corsaro appetizer €18, which included mussels, anchovies, salmon tartare, seafood salad, 1 octopus tentacle, then 2 spaghetti with clams, super. A bottle of La Pergola Toscana Vermentino wine €2024, 1 coffee, total €85.

08/09/2025: We ate there on our last night in Rome... by pure chance, as we had to quickly change hotels due to an oversight during our previous checkout. So, we booked another hotel, and found ourselves facing the Corsaro... and what can I say? We ate very well and more... a welcoming place, very friendly staff, and equally as good food! I recommend everything, especially the raw fish platter! Congratulations!

18/10/2025: A truly pleasant discovery! We visited this restaurant where they welcomed us very kindly, which is always an important start. To top off the evening, we ate excellently cooked, top-quality fish, and the wine list was also impressive. Congratulations, and we'll see you soon!

05/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, nice atmosphere, in a neighborhood that's not central but offers easy parking. The menu written on the blackboard shows a certain familiarity with seafood. We had girolle, tuna, and tempura fried fish, all delicious and well-cooked. Excellent bread. Good desserts, €110 per couple, not cheap but fair. P.S., I would put some lampshades on the tables.

01/10/2025: Was taken here for lunch by a colleague. A great way to change up the traditional Italian lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch selection. You pay by the weight of the food you choose.

22/10/2025: Authentic Neapolitan pizza, no indigestible rubber ducks. Excellent pizza with quality ingredients, even the fried foods are delicious. Prices are more than fair. All topped off with a friendly and welcoming staff.

22/10/2025: We stayed at an Airbnb nearby and the host recommended this place. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The food was incredible…. The staff was so kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was adorable. The prices were very affordable and the portions were big as well. We went two times in our four days trip, and we wished we had gone at least once more. It’s run by a family, and you can tell they really care for their customers.

If you leave a bad review, the boss will say, 'You've never been here.' Most of the reviews in this restaurant are false reviews with fake accounts. Take a look. My wife and I had dinner here in May 2023. That night was terrible. This is due to several reasons below. 1. There was a lipstick stain on the cup we received. 2. We ordered a salad, but the fries came out. After all the menus were served, when the salad did not come out, we asked the employee, who said that fries were served instead of salad. So I asked him to take the fries back, but the employee told me to just eat it. 3. We didn't eat French fries because we didn't order them. But when we paid, the employee asked us if we would even pay for the fries.We refused to pay for the fries, and the employee's attitude got cold. 4.I left a review of this employee's attitude with 3 stars, but the owner of this restaurant left me bad words and insulting comments. I have lived in Thailand, Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, and Mexico. However, I have never received such bad service before. Shouldn't restaurants in Europe, even Rome, of course offer better service than restaurants in these countries? I don't want anyone to have a bad experience in this restaurant anymore. 06/10/2025: Very nice and friendly service. You sit outside. We started with a welcome from the kitchen in the form of a brus hetta. The spaghetti fruitti di mare was truly first-class, and the penne al arrabiata was by far the best in all of Rome. If we're back in Rome, we'll eat here again. Thank you!

The food, however, is truly excellent, and everything is completely gluten-free! A great place for someone with celiac disease like me. The owner is very kind and helpful. I stand by my rating from some time ago, even with the complete change of management of both the shop and the Taverna, but the offerings are still excellent, both in terms of dishes and by the glass (today the fregola and sautéed mushrooms are excellent).
