19/08/2025: I ordered the carbonara and two desserts. The carbonara was sophisticated, with excellent quality ingredients. I don't agree with the choice of serving it in a glass, as the bottom remains too hot and the pasta is overcooked. Furthermore, the egg custard (too runny in my opinion) collects and disappears on the surface.
Aside from these considerations, perhaps more a matter of personal taste, the dish is truly excellent and highly recommended.
The tiramisu and zabaglione were equally top-notch.
Highly recommended, away from the tourists who crowd the typical Trastevere restaurants.

07/09/2025: Two days ago, my daughter got married, and we had the reception at La Foresta restaurant. We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the service, the attentiveness of the waiters, and especially the food! Everything was delicious, and the food was excellent. I'd like to thank all the staff for their kindness. I highly recommend it.

02/09/2025: We enjoyed a small lunch and the place does close down by 1500. Their house wine was good. We tried the red merlot and it was great. Their pasta and bruschetta was fresh and yummy. I recommend the carbanata and the cacio de pepe!

06/09/2025: What can I say? Absolutely everything is excellent. The dishes are few but absolutely well-prepared. Access for people with disabilities isn't easy, but the view of the lake is enchanting.
Tonnarelli with clams, yellow cherry tomatoes, and mullet bottarga are super-excellent. The octopus is a must-try.
10/08/2025: Excellent food, friendly and courteous service from the chef and his wife, and a beautiful view of the lake. The restaurant is a bit dated but well-maintained, clean, and quaint. Ideal for a lunch or dinner for two or a small group.

10/09/2025: Very good, but for literally ordering a slice of bread, they charged me 2 euros. They didn't charge table service, according to them, but in the end, ordering bread does cost money. And water, 3 euros, is a rip-off.

10/08/2025: A visit to a two-star Michelin restaurant is always a special experience - and this restaurant exceeded all expectations. From the first greeting to the last bite, every moment was characterized by perfection and sophistication.
Ambiance & Service The stylish, minimalist design with subdued lighting and elegant table arrangements creates an exclusive atmosphere. The service was impeccable: attentive but unobtrusive, with in-depth knowledge of each dish and the perfect wine pairing.
Culinary Experience The tasting menu was a true journey for the senses. Each course was artfully prepared and tastefully worked out down to the last detail. Particularly noteworthy are the perfectly cooked lobster with saffron foam and the melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu slice with black truffle. The desserts were a harmonious composition of sweetness, acidity and textures – a real treat.
Wine pairing The sommelier recommendations were excellent and perfectly underlined the flavors of the dishes. The elegant Burgundy and the complex dessert wine in particular rounded off the menu.
Conclusion An unforgettable culinary experience at the highest level. The combination of exquisite cuisine, first-class service and elegant ambience makes this restaurant a top address for gourmets. Unreservedly recommended!

I was really satisfied.
Everything was delicious.

20/08/2025: I wish there had been time to point out to the relevant authorities that... The structure is original and astonishing.
The service was very fast, attentive, and courteous.
The lasagna was wonderful.
The mixed platter... I expected better quality porchetta (dry and lacking in character). Another negative aspect was the transparency of the two slices of prosciutto, two soppressata, and two capocollo, which were truly embarrassing to present. Obviously, I keep in mind that for the price charged, one could and should do better.
Also because, it's impossible to enjoy its goodness unless you serve it in the right quantity.
But I'll be back, and I'll let you know.
