A place where culinary tradition and a connection to the past have become their strength. A wide selection, but not for those with allergies. Accessible to everyone... I highly recommend it.

06/09/2025: If you are looking for an authentic Greek food experience in the heart of Rome city center( trastevere) then Akropolis is the place!The dishes are prepared with love and passion and are incredible tasty. I would recommend to everyone to have a visit and have a wonderful Greek experience.

07/08/2025: I had the gyros, which was good. However, for €15, I would have added at least two more slices of pita, as just two slices aren't enough to accompany the dish. I would also have added a few more pieces of meat. Otherwise, the staff were friendly, and the place was very nice. Recommended.

20/08/2025: A profound disappointment! An ancient and historic pizzeria, we ate a unique pizza, which they only made there!!! The dough and cooking were typical of Est Est Est, it no longer exists! It was changed for some unknown reason, with a completely ordinary pizza, in fact... inedible, without soul and without heart. A real shame!

24/08/2025: The atmosphere is youthful and friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel at home. The decor is reminiscent of an AS Roma stadium, and it's great to watch a match there. Good food, large, thin-crust pizzas with good toppings. My first time at this restaurant, I'll definitely be back.

03/09/2025: We stumbled upon this gem on our last day in Rome and it really was a highlight! The carbonara was to die for, it was the best one we had in Rome! We also ordered mixed grilled seafood which was very fresh. The place was full of local Italians, no queue at all so skip the touristy places and come here for a fully authentic treat!

06/09/2025: I went last night with my partner for the second time to this masterpiece of a restaurant. It's incredibly beautiful, truly elegant, and the owner and staff are incredibly kind, professional, and extremely helpful. The food was excellent, the octopus alla diavola (it's actually a whole octopus) was spectacular, and the wine was excellent. What can I say? We'll definitely be back! And finally, it was my partner's birthday. The waiter probably overheard us talking, and at the end of the bill, the desserts were offered by the owner. A very nice and much-appreciated gesture, thank you very much! Go there, you'll be amazed! Congratulations to the entire Gardenia staff! See you soon, Matteo!

28/08/2025: Gardenia is a magical place. The atmosphere is meticulously maintained and elegant. It has a street-level entrance, but there are a series of stairs to reach the various rooms. My husband and I dined in the outdoor area overlooking the lake, and it was truly a magical experience. The service was courteous, attentive, and punctual. The wait for our dishes was short, and the attention to detail was truly excellent. Regarding the cuisine, I can only confirm what has been said so far: the dishes were delicious, and the recipes were unique and sophisticated, complemented, of course, by some classics (the ever-present scampi risotto and lobster tongues, to name a few). Personally, I was very satisfied.
