26/03/2025: Excellent restaurant, with high quality raw materials, and friendly and courteous service, absolutely worth trying

25/03/2025: Superlative cuisine, which you don't expect but which leaves you confused due to the quality and freshness of the raw materials. I thought places like this no longer existed, welcoming even in the cream-colored nuances of the furnishings. Palettes of flavors worthy of a city without equal. You would expect a queue to enter: there are European cities where you would need to book in advance to be able to have dinner. Even humble, maybe this is the secret?

09/03/2025: Sono stato in questo locale con degli amici e trovo sempre irritante il fatto che se si è in più di quattro persone (eravamo in 7) si cerchi in tutti i modi di fregarti. La scelta è ricaduta su questo ristorante perché tutto il gruppo è appassionato di carne alla griglia. al momento in cui ci consegnano le varie ordinazioni faccio notare che la mia bistecca non corrispondeva a quella richiesta (la differenza con un mio amico che aveva scelto lo stesso taglio di carne era notevole: erano bistecche di tipologie diverse) Fatto presente la cosa al cameriere lui inizia fard un gioco stile "carta vince carta perde" prima affermando che mi stavo sbagliando io poi dicendo che poteva esserci un errore. Infine mi cambia la carne e ammette di aver sbagliato l'ordinazione con un altro tavolo... Anche se il dubbio che mi abbiamo portato un altro tipo ancora di carne rimane. Al momento del conto abbiamo pagato singolarmente e chi ha pagato in contanti si è trovato a dover far presente che nella confusione il responsabile alla cassa non ci stava dando il resto di una quota versata. Da parte sua ha finto di non averlo fatto appositamente... Che dire.... Troppe cose che non tornano. P. S. È inutile chiedere la cottura della carne durante le ordinazioni se poi la carne ti viene servita sulla pietra e non ti forniscono un piatto per poterla spostare nel momento in cui la consumi. O mangi velocemente altrimenti la carne si continua a cuocere

16/02/2025: The name intrigued me, so I decided to try it, but I have to say that I've tried better. The choice of meat is rather limited: there were two of us and we opted for a Florentine steak. I had asked for a Danish, but the waitress informed us that only the slightly more expensive Irish was available that day. In the end, we spent €110 between us for: • Charcuterie platter • Focaccia • Fiorentina (I had asked for 1 kg, but around 1.2 kg arrived – understandable human error) • 1 beer • 1 water • 1 Coke Zero • 1 side dish of grilled vegetables (very bad quality, they seemed frozen. The most disconcerting fact was the price: €8). The bill would have also been acceptable if the quality of the food had been up to par, but unfortunately the meat was a big disappointment. Serving it on the hot stone is not a choice I agree with, but the real problem was the flavor: insignificant. Positive points? The service was fast and the staff were friendly, but the quality of the meat does not justify the price. For this reason, I would not recommend it. P.s. the owner doesn't like a detailed and truthful review. You have to be humble dear owner, don't justify yourself and accuse the customer. I'm sorry but I have also read other reviews from people who have eaten much better meat than yours and have received far too ironic responses. Good work.

25/03/2025: This was a short walk from our hotel and we relied on google reviews. Thanks to Chris and the staff for being SO hospitalble! There were Americans, French, Italians—real international group all delighted. Cacio e pepe was insanely good! Off menu specials worth a try. Outside seating with a fun Roman cat to make it feel like home!

23/03/2025: Mandatory (dry) bread with olive oil and balsamico for 2€/person. Seafood is thawed from frozen during off-season, which is stated on the back of the menu - good with transparency. We chose ragu, and it is tasted okay, nothing special compared to other places. We felt the service was a bit rushed on getting plates away, while the dishes we got for the bread were not clean, so I had to rub the worst off both plates with the napkin.

13/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Lo staff è solare, simpatico e molto affiatato, l’atmosfera è piacevole e accogliente, da TAVERNA vera. La carbonara è tra le migliori mai assaggiate a Roma: cremosa e saporita al punto giusto. I carciofi sono da leccarsi i baffi! Un grazie speciale al nostro cameriere Michele, preciso e attento dall’inizio alla fine. Ottima anche la panna cotta ai frutti di bosco. Ci ritorniamo di sicuro!

12/04/2025: Locale piccolo e scomodo. Primi appena sufficienti. La coda alla vaccinara 4 pezzettini di coda (codini) molto brodosa e di scarso sapore (si sentiva solo il pomodoro) ed al "modico" prezzo di € 20. Avrei fatto meglio a mangiarmi un panino

29/03/2025: Literalmente, si no miras con atención, podrías perder la entrada junto a la salida del nivel inferior de la estación de metro de Cavour. La comida era excelente, especialmente los “Estándares Romanos” de Alcachofa Romana, Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe, y la Saltimboca de Ternera. Carta de vinos corta, pero muy bien seleccionada.

24/03/2025: Excellent family lunch on Sunday 23 March. In addition to eating divinely with the highest quality raw materials, we were struck by the welcome that was given to us... including my little dog... one of the few restaurants where our 4-legged friends are welcomed while maintaining respect for the other guests who perhaps don't like dogs.... they made us sit in a slightly more secluded area... and in this way we enjoyed an excellent lunch in a pleasantly familiar atmosphere... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Well done guys...we'll be back to see you soon...

19/03/2025: Very nice fish restaurant in a quiet area, almost at the end of the pier on the right side. Furnished in a nautical style with great taste. We ate very well. You could clearly feel the quality and freshness of the fish. The appetizer is highly recommended: "crispy shrimp" which I have shown in the photo. Also noteworthy are the homemade desserts. We will return. Upon leaving we also witnessed the return of the fishing boats with immediate sale of the catch.

31/03/2025: A very bland meal. An example is a carpaccio with a shrimp in the middle, garnished with pickle (forgot) and foie gras, the shrimp has no taste at all, only texture. In comparison, I had a very similar dish of shrimp carpaccio wrapped with foie gras in Milan. The shrimp was made from langoustine, which was sweet and fresh in one bite. The foie gras was also large in size, adding a lot of rich flavor.

26/03/2025: The Atmosphere is very special, it was my first time in a Michelin restaurant. We took 5 dishes of course most of them were super tasty. The service was great, for me I missed the personal connection.its was very formal. The dishes looked amazing and were explanations for everything . I didn't like that they added things with money without updating us . I don't have a problem paying but I would like to know in advance. They were super nice and cute and made for a nice surprise for my birthday. Definitely recommend !
