07/07/2026: La Rocca is a sure thing: exquisite, authentic food (their suckling pig is unsurpassed, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside), friendly, quick, and courteous service; and a wonderful view. It's wonderful to return, every time. Unparalleled. 💙

The place filled up all at once, resulting in some delays...
Anyway, everything was delicious and the service was excellent (brunette girl on the veranda).
We'll be back.

08/07/2026: Excellent Roman food. Family style. Service with a smile. Puntarelle (chicory and anchovies), great Carbonara and Pajata. I tried the Coratella (great offal stew).
You should book it because they fill up quick!
What a meal! And affordable: great food, full plates, and priced reasonably!
A must go restaurant in Testaccio… Testaccio never disappoints!

10/07/2026: This is one of those authentic family-run restaurants that instantly makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and it almost feels like everyone knows each other. It was recommended to me by a friend who used to work nearby, and I can confidently say it was excellent advice.
The food was delicious, the service was attentive. The dining room gives it the feel of a small museum. If you’re planning to visit, I’d definitely recommend making a reservation in advance,it will give you a much better chance of enjoying some truly wonderful Roman cuisine.
29/06/2026: We were on our way back from the Colosseum, and it was by chance that we stumbled into this place. Thanks to the family, we had an exceptional meal. The food, the service, and the Roman atmosphere make this restaurant a must-visit.

08/07/2026: When I got recommended to eat at this restaurant, I knew I had to try out their carbonara. It was literally the best pasta I’ve had on my trip with the portion being super fulfilling. I also tried the tempura, paired with aperol spritz and the combination was amazing. Both, the staff and the atmosphere, were absolutely lively!

02/07/2026: This restaurant, tucked away on a small street, is full of charm thanks to its simplicity. The decor, with its large paintings depicting Rome's most beautiful monuments, creates a warm and typically Italian atmosphere.
The welcome is warm and the staff are incredibly kind.
The dishes are delicious and homemade. The seafood risotto is a real treat, and the tiramisu is simply divine!
All this at a very reasonable price. An excellent place that I highly recommend. Well done to the whole team!
30/06/2026: Authentic and amazing!! Walked in when they opened and had the most amazing pasta in my life! Visiting from a cruise ship. Worth it to stop if you are visiting Rome for a day or a month! Ask for Cesare!!! Grazie!!

02/06/2026: Highly recommended. We stopped here in Ariccia for lunch, and we had a really great time. The atmosphere is clean, the waiters are friendly, and the service is fast. The bread is amazing. The antipasto is special, and the porchetta is phenomenal. Stop here for a meal, you'll definitely be satisfied.

26/04/2026: La Locomotiva is a restaurant that offers carefully prepared, high-quality dishes, from meat and fish to Roman pinsa. I was very impressed with the quality of the service; the waiter who served us was professional, kind, and always willing to accommodate our needs. The setting is well-maintained, and what we really appreciated was the atmosphere, which allows us to chat without the hustle and bustle that can be found in many restaurants, especially on Saturday evenings. The tables are well-spaced, and compared to a few years ago, the quality has certainly improved. It's worth noting how the chili pepper was served; small details can tell a lot. I hope to always find it this way.

13/12/2025: A last-minute dinner, we found a table right away, greeted by a warmth and friendliness from the host that few places can match. The food was plentiful, and each dish was typically delicious. The ambiance was refined, and the subtle reference to Greek colors and atmospheres was a real success. The bill was completely reasonable and appropriate for the quality of the dishes served.
I will definitely return on other occasions.

The quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent: the fish is incredibly fresh, although I personally didn't like the fried anchovies. The dishes, even the more creative ones, if we can call them that, are always beautifully balanced, never overpowering the flavor of the main ingredient. The meticulous presentation of the dishes also deserves special mention, demonstrating great attention to detail. The restaurant has a refined, welcoming, and pleasant atmosphere. The quality-price ratio is generally a bit above average for the area. I will definitely be back.

21/05/2026: Amazing! This little-known place ended up here by chance. Both the starter and the main course were fantastic. Without a doubt, the best carbonara in all of Rome—perfectly balanced, neither too salty nor too bland, and the guanciale melts in your mouth.

08/06/2026: We went to this restaurant to celebrate our two-year anniversary. We wanted to avoid the "usual" seafood restaurant and try something different, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The restaurant offers highly refined dishes, with unique pairings designed for those who love to experiment with new flavors.
We were won over right from the chef's welcome: a warm focaccia accompanied by exquisite whipped anchovy butter. We chose the six-course tasting menu for €65, a truly fair price considering the high-quality ingredients and the quantity (by the end of the meal, I was literally stuffed!).
The staff, incredibly kind and friendly, also made the difference, making the lunch even more special. Highly recommended!

01/06/2026: My partner and I took the ramen class at Mind School and really enjoyed it, more than we expected. It was a great experience, very hands-on and without too many frills: you cook, you try, you make a few mistakes, and you really learn.
Massimo was really good and super approachable. He guided us step by step, explaining everything in a simple and natural way, without ever making it seem complicated or "lesson-like." You could really tell he was passionate about it.
We left happy, full of delicious food and eager to make it again at home. It's one of those experiences that stays with you in a positive way.
