02/03/2025: Ieri sera abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante, il cibo veramente ottimo, abbiamo preso antipasti e primo di pesce ed era tutto fresco e davvero buono, il personale gentilissimo e Fabrizio il proprietario davvero simpatico e di compagnia. Abbiamo concluso la serata con un Tiramisù davvero squisito. Locale accogliente e si mangia davvero bene, lo consiglio vivamente e ci torneremo sicuramente.

09/04/2025: Die Qualität der Speisen war passabel. Die der Behandlung indessen äußerst fragwürdig. Zugegeben, wir sind keine Italiener. So hat meine Partnerin die Frage des Kellners, ob das Essen gut gewesen wäre, nicht gleich verstanden. Die Rückfrage des Kellners "HamHam good" konnte ich nicht unter italienischem Humor sondern vielmehr als Unverschämtheit verbuchen. Andere Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung sind da um Welten besser und geben einem das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Also, wenn es um schnelle Durchgangskost geht, okay. Wenn man einen gemütlichen Abend genießen möchte, auf keinen Fall.

08/04/2025: As someone who genuinely enjoys food—and usually eats more salt than most—I was shocked by how inedible the pasta Amatriciana was here. After a few bites, I was honestly confused and started wondering: Is this dish even supposed to be this salty? I know Amatriciana is traditionally a salty pasta, but someone who knows how to make it well will balance the salt with the richness of the sauce and the sharpness of the cheese. Here, the salt completely overpowered everything else. It was so intensely salty that I couldn’t finish it—and I’m someone who rarely finds food “too salty.” I left the entire plate and walked out hungry. At first, I was excited. The long line and packed restaurant made me think I was in for a great meal. But the moment I tasted the food, I was stunned at how bad it was. That’s when I realized the entire place was filled with tourists—no locals at all. It started to make sense. This place is clearly overhyped, most likely driven by social media and influencer buzz, not real culinary merit. The whole setup felt more like a show than a real Roman trattoria. They have “grandmas” making pasta at the front like it’s a performance, which seems charming at first—but once the food hits the table, it becomes clear it’s all for show. To make things worse, they added extra charges to the bill, including a fee just for sitting down (coperto). I understand that this is a standard practice in Italy, and I have no issue with it when it’s done transparently. But here, it felt sneaky. There was no mention of it on the menu, and I noticed every single person around me had to ask about unexpected charges when paying. Staff had to explain them over and over, which made it feel like they expect confusion and count on it. My meal—just pasta, one supplì, and water—ended up costing me $28 USD, which is outrageous for the quality I received. I truly felt scammed. If you’re in Rome and looking for real Roman food, skip this place. There are plenty of trattorias serving honest, delicious meals without the gimmicks, staged performances, or sneaky billing. This place might look good on Instagram, but it falls apart the moment you take a bite.

Excellent and strategic location for those who want to go to Rome or Lake Bracciano and its villages. Rich breakfast and restaurant open for both lunch and dinner. Highly recommended

Open since 1974 and initially managed by his father Jair, today it is in the hands of his son Ettore, who has inherited all his father's passion and qualities in maintaining a high level of cuisine and hospitality. I had the pleasure of frequenting it in the past, during my long period as a former Alitalia employee, and today, returning, I found the same family atmosphere and the unmistakable flavor of the dishes as always. The quality of the food has remained excellent, with fresh ingredients, carefully prepared dishes and particular attention to tradition. The menu offers a variety of sea and land dishes, always well presented and with an authentic taste. Another strong point is the excellent quality-price ratio, with modest prices that allow you to enjoy a high-quality lunch or dinner without spending a fortune. 16/03/2025: We stopped for lunch... Young and helpful staff, excellent product quality... We took the fixed menu for 23 euros: Hot and cold appetizers, first or second course... We chose the first courses: ravioli stuffed with porchetta (delicious), cheese and pepper and homemade fettuccine with sauce... Water, house wine, 2 coffees + bitters... for the donuts we were full so they made us a bag to take away... A total of 50 euros, they offered us a first course... more than satisfied, we will be back...

23/03/2025: We came to this place on Sunday, the place is nice and well looked after, the food is of good quality and is treated with care by bringing beautiful dishes to the plates; the staff is kind and attentive, a special mention to the waiter who served us, Luigi, a nice guy, kind and attentive to detail who managed to make lunch truly pleasant. Overall it was a great lunch I think we will be back soon.
