08/07/2026: Excellent Roman food. Family style. Service with a smile. Puntarelle (chicory and anchovies), great Carbonara and Pajata. I tried the Coratella (great offal stew). You should book it because they fill up quick! What a meal! And affordable: great food, full plates, and priced reasonably! A must go restaurant in Testaccio… Testaccio never disappoints!

10/07/2026: This is one of those authentic family-run restaurants that instantly makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and it almost feels like everyone knows each other. It was recommended to me by a friend who used to work nearby, and I can confidently say it was excellent advice. The food was delicious, the service was attentive. The dining room gives it the feel of a small museum. If you’re planning to visit, I’d definitely recommend making a reservation in advance,it will give you a much better chance of enjoying some truly wonderful Roman cuisine.

29/06/2026: We were on our way back from the Colosseum, and it was by chance that we stumbled into this place. Thanks to the family, we had an exceptional meal. The food, the service, and the Roman atmosphere make this restaurant a must-visit.

21/06/2026: I've been there for the first time, the perfect cube is delicious, the service is very kind. I've been inside, with air conditioning, it also has a garden. In the evening it will be perfect outside too.

The decor, with its large paintings depicting Rome's most beautiful monuments, creates a warm and typically Italian atmosphere. The welcome is warm and the staff are incredibly kind. The dishes are delicious and homemade. The seafood risotto is a real treat, and the tiramisu is simply divine! All this at a very reasonable price. An excellent place that I highly recommend. Well done to the whole team!

30/06/2026: Authentic and amazing!! Walked in when they opened and had the most amazing pasta in my life! Visiting from a cruise ship. Worth it to stop if you are visiting Rome for a day or a month! Ask for Cesare!!! Grazie!!

20/05/2026: The restaurant has established itself as a neighborhood landmark for those seeking cuisine that goes well beyond the usual standard. The quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent: the fish is incredibly fresh, although I personally didn't like the fried anchovies. The dishes, even the more creative ones, if we can call them that, are always beautifully balanced, never overpowering the flavor of the main ingredient. The meticulous presentation of the dishes also deserves special mention, demonstrating great attention to detail. The restaurant has a refined, welcoming, and pleasant atmosphere. The quality-price ratio is generally a bit above average for the area. I will definitely be back.

16/07/2026: A typical Greek restaurant in the heart of Trastevere. Everything was perfect. Impeccable and punctual service. Very good food. Luckily, parking was also available. An evening worth repeating, trying new dishes.

16/07/2026: A very nice authentic Greek restaurant with indoor air con seating on two floors and outside seating. The food is generally very good but not very much fish strangely. The pitta bread is excellent as is the Tzatziki and olives. The special on the evening we visited (stuffed melanzano) was superb but the vegetarian 'mousaka' was a travesty. A great range of terrific artisanal Greek beers including alcohol free. It's not cheap!

08/07/2026: When I got recommended to eat at this restaurant, I knew I had to try out their carbonara. It was literally the best pasta I’ve had on my trip with the portion being super fulfilling. I also tried the tempura, paired with aperol spritz and the combination was amazing. Both, the staff and the atmosphere, were absolutely lively!

12/07/2026: I've been going to Peperoncino Dispettoso for many, many years. We've celebrated birthdays here, had class pizza parties, and had post-theater dinners. I even sent my kids there alone with their friends when they were little, recommending them to the waiter, who had no problem at all. The place is very spacious, with a large covered outdoor area equipped with fans in the summer and "mushrooms" in the winter. Thirty years ago, there was a gas station here. The wood-fired pizza is delicious and comes in two styles: Roman or Neapolitan. The fried foods are delicious and unusually light. There's plenty of choice beyond pizzeria food, and the "specials of the day" change daily. I've often gotten pizza to go and sipped a crisp draft beer while waiting. Not the cheapest. Prices are average for the area and still well spent. The waiters are very friendly. Parking is impossible.

02/06/2026: Highly recommended. We stopped here in Ariccia for lunch, and we had a really great time. The atmosphere is clean, the waiters are friendly, and the service is fast. The bread is amazing. The antipasto is special, and the porchetta is phenomenal. Stop here for a meal, you'll definitely be satisfied.
