02/05/2026: Excellent Greek restaurant. A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere; a wide selection of delicious vegetarian dishes; and impeccable service. The very kind waiter accompanied us throughout the dinner, explaining the dishes and recommending an excellent wine.

08/05/2026: The restaurant is located in a unique setting on the Appian Way, between the Basilica and the Catacombs of San Sebastiano, the entrance to the Circus of Maxentius, and the tomb of Cecilia Metella. Inside, the restaurant is beautifully appointed with refined furnishings and ambiance. The tables are elegantly decorated. The menu offers both seafood and meat dishes. This time, I chose a meat-based dinner menu with a delicious beech-flavored Scottona Tartare, a Béarnaise sauce, and crispy seeds as an appetizer. For my main course, I opted for a fantastic Duck Breast with leeks, hazelnuts, and miso mayonnaise. To finish, a beautiful dessert: yogurt mousse, salted caramel, and mandarin sauce. Very delicate. The staff is courteous and friendly. Very attentive. The price, €60-70, is appropriate for both the elaborate and refined dishes and the beautiful location. Considering it's only 2 km from home, I'll be back!

29/04/2026: The location is beautiful, the portions are average, and sufficient. The appetizer (octopus in tomato sauce) was good, and the first and second courses were ordinary. Prices are high.

09/03/2026: I ordered the fish of the day, and they told me I could upgrade for an additional 10€, so I did. It was delicious and the best!

12/05/2026: A place that can now be said to be historic, 100% vegan and organic. The formula is buffet. You get a table assigned to you (it's better to book), you take a plate and put what you want on it (the choice changes every day and is always very wide, tasty and varied) then you weigh it (the scales take away the weight of the plate) and take the relevant receipt. Cost €36 per kilo (on average €13-15 is enough) drinks (wide choice of beers, soft drinks and wines) served by the always very kind and knowledgeable staff. Surprising desserts, good coffee.

11/04/2026: We had lunch at Pasquino San Lorenzo, four adults and two children: an experience beyond all expectations. The welcome is warm and authentic, never pretentious—they truly make you feel at home. We were looked after from start to finish with extreme discretion, but also with great care in letting us taste the best dishes, catering to our curiosity and tastes. It's also perfect with visiting foreign friends and children: constant attention and care from appetizer to dessert. The dishes are excellent in terms of the quality of the ingredients and their execution. Worthy of note: the stuffed flower with red shrimp, the very light fried fish, the spectacular Jewish-style artichoke, and the julienned cuttlefish. We also shared a platter of excellent cured meats and cheeses. Among the first courses: gnocchi with clams, spaghetti with squid ink, paccheri, and a truly successful cacio e pepe with red shrimp and lime. For dessert, pistachio tiramisu and a tiramisu cream with strawberries, both memorable. Good wine list and excellent value. The restaurant is very welcoming, with outdoor seating in a small, quiet square away from traffic. The only drawback: it can be a bit difficult to find free parking in the area; however, there are paid parking lots nearby. It's an easy five-minute walk from Termini station, avoiding the busiest area. Highly recommended: authentic cuisine, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere.

10/04/2026: Pietro was a fantastic host and made us feel at home. The food was the best we had while in Rome. Everything was fresh and delicious. Pietro was attentive and made sure everything came out perfectly. My wife who is gluten free was able to order without issue as Pietro made sure to have her meal prepared separately and safely. If you are in the San Lorenzo area, this place is a must.. If you stop in to this restaurant, make sure to head to the basement as it’s a historic bunker/shelter from the days of war. It’s fascinating and truly beautiful. Grazie mille Pietro!

04/05/2026: Excellent experience, eating outdoors in a beautiful indoor "garden." Very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Excellent dishes, made with fresh, quality ingredients, well-cooked. The quality and freshness of the fish were clearly evident. Excellent value for money.

03/05/2026: Nothing special. The place is not very well-kept and dated, with rustic decor. The food is average, considering the prices are on par with local competitors.

14/05/2026: We were left in the rain without being invited to change tables or put up a parasol like all the other customers. We were so furious that we left quickly. The service was worthy of a first-class hotel. After the bill arrived, and after eating in the rain, the staff simply said, "Sorry about the rain," even though all the other covered tables were empty. First and last time for such poor quality food... I'll let you discover the €25 mixed vegetable dish, which consisted solely of chickpeas... A joke!

03/04/2026: I was there on Friday, March 27th for a business dinner. The Roman-style artichoke appetizer was superb, the amatriciana was divine, and the roast suckling pig with chicory was superb! The only flaw was that the waiter stained my pants while pouring the amatriciana. We were a large table, and only those who do nothing make mistakes. A few waiters promptly arrived to help me clean up. Highly recommended!

17/04/2026: Exceptional place! If you're looking for a modernly designed venue, meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail, and a vibrant, youthful atmosphere, this is the place. The food is divine: creative dishes, quality ingredients, and impeccable presentation. The real added value is the staff: the wait staff and kitchen staff are simply exceptional, professional yet welcoming and cheerful. You immediately feel at home, yet in a high-end setting. Highly recommended for a dinner with friends or a special evening. We'll definitely be back.

15/03/2026: Very nice taverns near the Spanish Steps. The staff can sometimes be a bit too serious and aloof. The service is very fast and the music is very nice. However, the prices are sky-high, and the only real downside is that the bread is placed on the table upon your arrival. Obviously, you pay for it. So you're not given a choice, nor are you informed in advance. Because of this, I'm giving it a 3. This is something I didn't appreciate at all and which I consider highly misleading. The baked potatoes are also not very good due to the very strange flavor of the skin. The cacio e pepe pasta is excellent. They have high chairs for children.

20/04/2026: Two stars for the varied and well-presented wine list. The staff is young and friendly. The rest is underwhelming. The dishes are bland and tasteless. The five-course tasting menu isn't worth half its price. It's a question of both the cuisine and the choice of ingredients, which are by no means premium. A shame. The website promises an experience you won't find at this restaurant.
