07/08/2026: Li Rioni is literally steps from the Colosseum. It could be a tourist trap, but instead you get traditional Roman pizza with a rolling pin. Thin and flavorful, if you don't go overboard with the toppings, you could eat two. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is always courteous and never intrusive. The prices are excellent, not only for the location, but overall, you can go without being ripped off!

08/08/2026: The staff were very kind, the food was delicious, and the ambiance of the place was excellent. We realized we had accidentally ordered a pizza with pork when it arrived. They cancelled the order without asking for payment and brought us a new pizza without pork. I am very grateful for their thoughtfulness, even though it was our mistake.

11/08/2026: We had such a lovely experience celebrating my birthday at this charming restaurant in Rome. Established in 1922 and built on the ruins of an ancient theatre, the restaurant has a truly unique atmosphere — dining there feels almost like being inside a cave, surrounded by hisstory. The food was very good, and the service was attentive and friendly. What made the evening even more special was the thoughtful surprise they brought out for my birthday — a delicious tiramisu with a candle on top! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend visiting. One tip: make your reservation online well in advance, as the restaurant is quite popular.

02/06/2026: Highly recommended. We stopped here in Ariccia for lunch, and we had a really great time. The atmosphere is clean, the waiters are friendly, and the service is fast. The bread is amazing. The antipasto is special, and the porchetta is phenomenal. Stop here for a meal, you'll definitely be satisfied.

Ushered in by a friendly older gentleman he sat us down and then brought us 5 small plates of various anti pasta - all delicious. We had mains, and puddings, mainly through his infectious enthusiasm. Wine and beer flowed and the place was obviously popular. One of our favourite places in Rome. Highly recommended

The quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent: the fish is incredibly fresh, although I personally didn't like the fried anchovies. The dishes, even the more creative ones, if we can call them that, are always beautifully balanced, never overpowering the flavor of the main ingredient. The meticulous presentation of the dishes also deserves special mention, demonstrating great attention to detail. The restaurant has a refined, welcoming, and pleasant atmosphere. The quality-price ratio is generally a bit above average for the area. I will definitely be back.

18/07/2026: We were in Rome for a whirlwind day of hitting every sight we could and we picked this wonderful spot to have lunch. It is easy to get to from Trevi Fountain, but far enough away from the madness that you can enjoy a quiet lunch without being crowded by the thousands of tourists that go to Trevi. We also celebrated our son's birthday there and the staff was extremely attentive in both serving food that the kids would enjoy while also celebrating his birthday by putting music over their sound system which got the entire restaurant singing Happy Birthday to my son in Italian, which was a cool moment. Catia was an excellent server who made sure everyone would enjoy the meal and added one more positive moment to our memories of Rome.

01/06/2026: My partner and I took the ramen class at Mind School and really enjoyed it, more than we expected. It was a great experience, very hands-on and without too many frills: you cook, you try, you make a few mistakes, and you really learn. Massimo was really good and super approachable. He guided us step by step, explaining everything in a simple and natural way, without ever making it seem complicated or "lesson-like." You could really tell he was passionate about it. We left happy, full of delicious food and eager to make it again at home. It's one of those experiences that stays with you in a positive way.
