I visited this Osteria, just steps from Piazza Colonna, in the heart of Rome, and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is welcoming and original, the dishes are excellent, with thoughtful combinations, and the service is excellent.
I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a place to be amazed by the food!

It's probably one of the few restaurants in the area to have maintained its identity over the years, not turning into the usual tourist trap with menus and photos on the outside.
1. The restaurant is located in the most beautiful square in Rome, it's a shame about the scaffolding at the moment.
2. The staff here is its strong point: young, smart, and above all kind. In my case, I was greeted by Luca, who provided perfect service despite the restaurant being full. Thank you, Luca!
3. The wine was very good, cooked ad hoc.
As for the bill, I honestly expected something less, but my review is 5 stars!
Very happy to have eaten here, and I will gladly return.

We ate here two evenings running. The first night was recovering from some not very good pasta at lunch. Cheese assortment, fish special (perfectly cooked branzino with broccoli based sauce) and roasted vegetable platter and a really good panna cotta. Second night my wife had fish special and I had tagliatelle with farmhouse ragu. Fish was perfect again and tagliatelle was excellent. The ragu had figs which added a hint of sweetness to the Ragu. Meatballs as an appetizer, pana cotta and tiramisu for dessert. All were excellent. Not a classic Roman restaurant but excellent all around

A truly charming restaurant! The food is excellent, and the aperitivo comes with a delicious and generous platter. The service staff is also very friendly and attentive.

Cadence of the meal was appropriate. Not rushed, but not stuck. Outside patio was a lovely option to people watch the piazza. All three food items were prepared fresh, portions were optimal. If you find the prices a little steep for example to pasta dishes, remember everything is fresh and prepared to order. Service was attentive yet not overbearing.

We were feeling a bit under the weather, so we ordered the soup of the day and artichokes. Everything was delicious and settled us right away. The food was very well prepared and high quality. Highly recommended in the center of Rome. The waiter was incredibly friendly. We were delighted with the experience.

We ordered two pastas, one oxtail dish, and one artichoke dish. Everything was delicious. Except for the tomato pasta, which was a bit salty. The server warned us about that, but we didn't mind because we just ordered it anyway. We ordered one oxtail dish, but they gave us two. That was a bit much. However, the server was professional throughout the entire process. Other than that, it was a good dinner.
