Last week, without realizing it, while exploring a fine dining experience, we found ourselves back in the very same place. A warm welcome awaited us. We were delighted by the quality of the dishes, their flavors, and their presentation. At the end of the meal, we were astonished to realize that we had met Madame and her husband, a renowned chef, eight years ago. Thank you for this wonderful shared experience. Roger and Marie-Jeanne

10/11/2025: They greeted us just before closing time and had no problem seating us. Sunday at 3:30 PM! Fantastic, I'd say. The pizza had excellent dough and was super digestible! We hadn't heard of it before, but we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

09/11/2025: We were here for lunch today at Trovatore. We organized a trip to Parma and contacted this restaurant. The menu was €30.00, including mixed cold cuts, an omelette, two first courses, water, and a sbrisolona. The portions were truly ridiculous: 5 ravioli per person and 4 small bowls of gnocchi for a table of 26 people. Dessert was served on three shared plates with a couple of bowls of mascarpone cream. Obviously, it wasn't enough for the whole table. But unfortunately, it was all gone. There wasn't any left... ridiculous... we told the owner, who pretended to apologize... but by then he'd pocketed the money and didn't even bother to offer us a coffee... disappointing. It's obvious we won't be returning, and above all, we won't speak highly of the place. I'm sorry because he lost out on a few more portions... shame.

02/12/2025: It's true that quality comes at a price, but a price adjustment would allow the establishment to achieve a five-star rating with honors. Otherwise, the dishes are impeccable, the ingredients and their preparation are excellent, and the service staff are impeccable and extremely kind. But, I repeat, it's a bit overpriced, starting with a cover charge of a whopping €3.50 per person.

02/12/2025: Everything was fine here at this cute bistro until the bill arrived. Being charged 27€ for one small piece of cake and 2 glasses of house wine - both of which were, of course, not on the menu, made me feel a bit cheated. We will not return - as was probably expected.

23/11/2025: When I arrived, they asked me how many people I was in. I said I was alone, and they told me there was no room for me; the restaurant was full. I said I would wait until a table became available. Surprisingly, after about five minutes, a table opened up. The dish I ordered was delicious. Towards the end, the manager was very rushed; you had to pay quickly and leave quickly. The atmosphere was too businesslike for my taste and lacked a certain friendliness.

22/11/2025: We went for Saturday lunch. The noise level was quite high, but luckily they put us in the room downstairs, which was quieter. I must say that the quality and flavor of the food were excellent: the cured meats were delicious, and the dish I absolutely recommend among the first courses is the gnocchetti dei peccati with gorgonzola and porcini mushrooms: spectacular, perfect. The desserts were also good: the panna cotta was a bit small but delicious!

The service is courteous and friendly, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Reservations are recommended.

The food is excellent (obviously predominantly lake fish, including tartare, ravioli, grilled dishes, and various appetizers), the prices are fantastic, and everyone is very friendly and quick, even at a busy time. Highly recommended in the area.
