13/06/2025: Greetings to all lovers of good food! Today I visited this picturesque restaurant with my girlfriend. It was quite late around 10 o'clock. But for the staff, it was no problem and we got an amazing table with pictures of famous Italian celebrities and in all these pictures was an unknown man. After a while, I realized that this man is the owner himself and works in his restaurant. Well, not exactly alone. His right hand man on this day was Gabrielle the amazing waiter who took care of us like he had known us all his life. We were warned at home before we left for Italy that the service here wasn't that good, but Gabriel proved us all wrong! What I experienced today must have been experienced by kings in medieval times an incredible variety of starters to go with the excellent wine and finally an amazing dessert. It was a privilege to eat here and taste a culture I had never tasted before. I wish the owner many more amazing years filled with equally great business and I wish Gabriel the best for the future! 11/06/2025: Historic venue in the heart of Assisi, located right under the charming Vicolo della Volta Pinta, at number 3. The entrance is truly characteristic: you enter by passing under one of the ancient arches of Piazza del Comune, a detail that immediately tells the story and atmosphere of the place. The location is elegant in its classicism, welcoming and well-kept. The cuisine is equally traditional: well-executed Umbrian dishes, with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. An excellent choice for those looking for local cuisine done properly. The dining room staff is friendly, attentive but never intrusive. In short, a pleasant experience from every point of view, perfect for immersing yourself in the spirit of Assisi even at the table.

17/06/2025: This restaurant is located into a very cozy and busy area of Milan, and we got our table immediately with a phone call just 5 min before our arrival. It’s ideal for business lunch, and offers traditional Milanese cousine, alongside with other Italian dishes. There is a good selection of beverages. The service is very good, professional and kind. The price is right.

16/06/2025: It was around 10pm so it was relatively empty. I hadn't eaten seafood in Milan so I chose this restaurant at the end. The owner and the male staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I know everyone has different tastes, but for me this was the best restaurant I had during my trip to Milan.

12/06/2025: Fantastic restaurant with delicious local food in a beautiful countryside style with a large terrace under the trees and a cozy inner decoration. They only work with fresh ingredients illustrated by the menu which is solely available written in chalk on blackboard. You can hardly find a more authentic local restaurant in Italy.

It's a shame about the loud background noise due to the chatter of customers, despite being outdoors, but I understand that being very large and on a Saturday night you can't expect more. 15/04/2025: A place that from the outside seemed very crowded due to various birthdays, inside it is very large and the place was found quickly even though we didn't book (x7). Friendly and nice waitresses, fairly fast service, top pizza + sorbets. I haven't been back for 3 years and I regret it, I hope to come more often, highly recommended!

19/06/2025: We had the pleasure of trying “Da Lele” a few months ago (March 2025) on the advice of the hotel where we were staying. The atmosphere is modern and quiet, ideal for both a simple dinner and a special occasion. The friendly service, perhaps slightly more rigid and formal than in other restaurants in the area, but still available for every need. The small welcome aperitif with non-alcoholic or prosecco was appreciated, as well as the quality of meat and fish. The pizza was “gourmet” in style, a little small and with a light consistency and for this reason it might not meet with full approval from everyone, as in our case. All in all, the restaurant is a pleasant location with an extremely varied offer of proposals, to try at least once. DC

18/06/2025: It's not the cuisine of the past, too little raw food, too much pasta and too much cream and full of oil, too much batter for the mixed fried food, in truth we didn't eat well, halfway down the chimney I immediately felt sick, once home I vomited and it's already 5 in the morning. 1 hour of road for nothing I'm sorry

All the staff has the ability to manage with love, professionalism, every aspect, with a success of the event beyond all expectations (in our case of spouses, friends and relatives)! The kitchen, masterfully led by the D'Errico brothers, has confirmed itself as a guarantee even for events with over 100 people, always maintaining the very high quality standard in taste, presentation, creativity and refinement of the raw materials to which they have accustomed us over the years! 25/06/2025: …when you think of spending an evening not thinking about anything the opposite happens…you sit down read the voice covered and you realize that you are in a place where you have to pay attention to everything because from an evening with your brain off you find yourself paying attention to every step of the dishes you order…in the alley the atmosphere is delicious but the dishes and the staff give life to a food and wine journey that is nothing short of engaging…from start to finish a cuisine that enhances the typicality of the typical Apulian dishes…the linearity and the alternation of flavors make sure that each dish is a synchrony of taste…

24/06/2025: we came here for the food, it was mediocre, the melanzane was probably the best thing we had, the lamb was not good, super dry and almost tasteless. service was extremely slow, took them 25min to serve the tiny tiramisu, well understaffed, not worth it in my opinion. only good thing is the setting which is cute

13/06/2025: We had dinner in this little place as a couple. Very nice place, very kind and attentive staff. Very good food and generous portions! The homemade tagliolini and the fried food were excellent, dry and crispy. The dessert... An unexpected surprise! Highly recommended!

We have been on a 3 week trip through France, Monaco, Italy (and the Vatican and San Marino), My wife and I both agree this was the best all around dinner we've had. Our server Irena was not only nice, but spoke good English and was very welcoming and happy. Lara, the Pizza chef not only quite the talent cooking but she smiles the whole time she's making the pizza and holy moly it's good. They both couldn't be friendlier. Excellent and pleasant staff with delicious food Do not skip this place.

It’s exactly what happens when you enter their home: they open the doors to their home, welcome you with a smile and treat you like family. This is Calvi: warmth, passion, care. It’s one of those places where you don’t just go to eat well — even if, trust me, you eat like a god — but to live a moment. The place is elegant and welcoming, with large and comfortable spaces. But my favorite corner is near the pass, because from there I can see everything. The kitchen is completely open, a real theater where the show never stops. I could stay there for hours watching how they move, how they take care of every detail… and in fact, every now and then, my wife calls me to order! Chef Donato is young, but with an edge. He has a head, a heart and a lot of hunger (not just for cooking, but for growing): he studies, travels, puts himself to the test. He never stops. Angelica, on the other hand, is the sommelier you would always like to have at your table: brilliant, very friendly, knowledgeable. She reads inside you and can always recommend the right glass, even if you want to dare with a cocktail or a spirit. In the dining room there is also Domenica, sweet, smiling, who makes you feel immediately at ease. Their cuisine is lively, contemporary, but rooted in tradition. You can find meat, fish, vegetarian dishes, daily specials, new dishes every season... but always with a clear philosophy: seasonality, respect for the raw materials and zero waste. I have eaten some of the best dishes of my life at their place. And every time it is different, because the menu changes, the inspiration changes... but the quality never changes. And then there are the leavened products. Bread, focaccia, sandwiches, panettone, brioche: all made by them, with sourdough and selected flours. I often stop by just to get the freshly baked bread, because it is truly special. I close with desserts and ice creams… which are not just “good”. They are poetry. The ice creams are churned on the spot, the desserts are never banal. Calvi is not just any restaurant. It is a real experience, made of heart, technique, family and so much beauty. If you have the chance, go there. Let yourself be embraced.
