We returned to "Il Cavallino" after a while and noticed the improvement, especially with the first courses. We tried several first courses, which I think you'll have a chance to try again these days if the menu doesn't change. The seafood risotto, unlike anything you've ever tried, will make you fly, as will the seafood pasta and potatoes, and a treat that might be hard to find elsewhere: the seafood lardiata! For our second course, we opted for the classic mixed fried fish, which was very tasty and the fish was incredibly fresh. We also recommend the desserts, a treat you might only find in a pastry shop: tiramisu cannoli 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 and the ricotta and pear.

Il Cavallino has been a guarantee of quality and great customer service for over 20 years. It's always a great experience. Not just culinary, thanks to the high-quality products and the mastery of the chefs. But, above all, for the attention that Olimpia and Giovanni have put for years into pampering their customers and ensuring they have a superb experience. Highly recommended 😍😍😍

15/01/2026: We happened to be passing by a few days ago and stopped in for a meal. Besides the fact that all the food was incredibly fresh and delicious, the service was excellent. They made us feel right at home despite being so far away. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

So we tried everything from sweet to savory, and we were truly delighted. Also noteworthy is the professionalism, hospitality, and kindness of the owner and the counter staff.

25/04/2026: We had lunch today to celebrate an 80th birthday. Beautiful place, friendly staff, excellent service, and fantastic food. I highly recommend it!
23/04/2026: We ate here in August on a Friday evening, the place was quite full, and the wait times were very long, we ordered the wine and waited 10 minutes after it arrived for the glasses, the appetizers were good but the portions were small especially for the price of €30 each. The meat is of good quality even if on one of the two Fiorentina steaks, the Rubia one was too fatty, the prices obviously vary based on the quality of the meat, but all in all they are slightly high even if the quality is not in question.
