16/10/2025: We visited this trattoria for lunch and found the service courteous, friendly, and delicious. The first course, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, was superb, but perhaps lacked a little more salt. Obviously, this is my personal opinion, as the food was quite tasty, but the dish was definitely worth it. The rich and varied appetizer, accompanied by excellent local honey, added an extra touch.
The kindness of Bruno, the owner, and Bruno, the waiter, truly made us very happy. We will definitely be back.
16/10/2025: my husband and I had the BEST dinner here!! The pasta is as fresh as it gets, cooked perfectly, and the flavors in the sauces are unbelievable. Truly the best Carbonara either of us have ever had. This is a truly authentic trattoria owned by a wonderful family whose pride in their recipes shine through in the final product. We can’t wait to visit Bruno and Georgia again soon 💕

Not to mention the friendly service we received, even though they only speak Italian and little English, they tried hard to make us understand. Price-quality ratio. We dined on the terrace because the weather still allowed it. A great place in this area.

22/10/2025: When chance turns into luck!
We stopped in on a Sunday, coming up from the deep south, very hungry but with no idea where to eat. While searching, we found this place. When we first walked in, it seemed a little swanky, but as soon as the waiters approached, we realized they were simply professional, yet human. Impeccable service, fast despite the packed crowd, and above all, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. I'm originally from Puglia, and the orecchiette with turnip tops I ordered took me back to my grandmother's house.
Finally, the price was top-notch, more than reasonable considering the market and the quality.
Highly recommended (I'll definitely be back!)

30/11/2025: A quasi-work lunch at the end of a morning at the racetrack, which is just 200 meters away.
We ate tortellini, grilled meat with baked potatoes, and a huge portion of tiramisu. Red wine was fine, but the white had too many bubbles. Coffee was Imola-standard...

The service is courteous and friendly, and the bill is reasonable.
22/09/2025: The food was excellent and the wine pairing perfect. The prices were totally fair, especially for such a special place. Beautiful terrace with a great view over the mountains.

22/11/2025: This excellent restaurant is located in the center of Sulmona. The quality of the ingredients is noteworthy, and the wine list is good. I didn't give it five stars because of the portion of pasta, which was truly minimal (so good it's a crime not to have eaten enough), and because of one of the two waiters who served us. A bit grumpy, while the other was helpful and friendly.
13/10/2025: After more than a year, I returned to this restaurant because the three or four previous visits had been good, including the atmosphere. Something must have changed: the portions were decidedly small, the quality had plummeted, and the prices were high for what you received. I was very disappointed and don't plan on returning, at least not anytime soon.

23/08/2025: As soon as we arrived, we wanted to linger, but in the end we gorged ourselves on the food: to start, they offered us a house appetizer, which was fried shrimp. Then we ordered the lobster Catalana, and my eyes lit up because it was the best I'd ever tasted, also because the onions had a very light flavor that perfected everything. Next up was the cheese-crusted fillet, which was incredibly tender and the cheese melted on top was an aphrodisiac. When a friend of mine received the octopus carbonara, he let me try it, and I had the idea of taking one of the chefs home with me. At a certain point, the mupa tartare arrived. Then I had the citrus ice cream, and that was when I finally satisfied myself.

29/08/2025: Had a bad experience here 2 years ago. Maybe it was the yeast, but I had a bad night visiting the bathroom a few times. To give it credit, I had a takeout recently which was fine after. Maybe it was just that one bad pizza. But I guess we all have to take our chances!

06/12/2025: A classic family restaurant with a simple traditional interior, where nothing has changed for 100 years (for the better 😉). The pizza was great, I also tried Neapolitan fritta pizza for the first time 👍. The red wine tasted a bit suspicious 🤣, but it was okay. Feel free to stop by, you won't ruin anything. The pizza was delicious 👍.
