Even if it seems the opposite, I didn't receive any money for writing these two lines, in fact, I actually gave some to the creator of this happy place (not too much I must say) but I had such a good time that I couldn't help but introduce this talented and knowledgeable chef. Mine wasn't a hopeless case, I didn't have to learn how to make a cutlet and at home we ate more than decently, but what I learned here was the magic of doing, of smiling. I have attended at least ten schools where they make you bone two fish and come with the basics ready, here every single bite is made from scratch, everyone participates and the raw materials are delicious. 19/08/2025: An extraordinary culinary experience, where the excellence of the food is combined with perfect service. A true gem for lovers of good food. However, as lovers of live music, we were literally captivated, fascinated, and transported to a world of special emotions by Maestro pianist Pino Portelli, whom we had previously heard play. The evening began with a quieter, more elegant atmosphere, perfect for conversation and enjoying the company. Late in the evening, when we had all almost finished our dinner, the climax occurred. Great music, the pianist gave his best. A pure spectacle, engaging for all the guests present. Everyone listened to his wonderful performances of classical music, famous pieces, from challenging jazz to rock to classical, all with extraordinary arrangements and the addition of incredible virtuosity. This was the first time, and I'm not just talking about Lipari, that we witnessed such an extraordinary event that captured our minds and hearts. Everyone, including the chef, was in the dining room applauding the maestro, including some youngsters, undoubtedly budding musicians. A wonderful experience that was priceless and, above all, one we will never forget. If you're looking for an excellent restaurant that also features a first-rate musician and a talented pianist, look no further, Chimera is the perfect choice! We will gladly return. 100% recommended

21/08/2025: We had dinner here with my family and had a wonderful time. We already knew them, but what can I say? The products were exquisite: we had two first courses and two pizzas, truly special! And what can I say? The staff is also impeccable. They literally pampered us. They are super nice, so kind, helpful, and professional! You really deserve to work harder and harder, you are the best!

20/08/2025: Incredible place to eat in Sorrento!! A 10/10 restaurant, fantastic service, super friendly waiters, and amazing food, great value for money, and they don't charge for table service!! 100% recommended. And you have to try the lemon pasta, it's delicious ✨🍋

30/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant because it was one of the few open on Mondays. In short, the restaurant isn't worth the price; maybe the pizza, but we didn't try it. I wouldn't return. The pappa al pompdoro and the tagliatelle with white ragù were good. We were, however, disappointed by the meat, which wasn't even asked how we'd cooked it. The practice of not listing the cover charge (€3.50, like in Milan or Florence), water, and wine by the glass on the menu is very annoying.

22/08/2025: Historic restaurant in the town of Ivrea. Staff always attentive to your needs. Reservations recommended, almost mandatory. Extensive menu. Always a great place to stop by for lunch, afternoon, or evening.

02/08/2025: Bad luck for the waitress, and a little for us too. I'll start by saying I chose the restaurant thanks to Raisin, a natural wine app that recommends it. I asked for a natural wine, and she told me the supplier hadn't delivered, suggesting organic... oh well, I must have gotten the wrong restaurant. Having seen some photos and being at Radikon, I tried to ask for Ribolla Gialla, and the waitress said yes, yes, the 33cl. Oh my goodness, I hope she understands and brings me the right wine. Radikon arrives at cellar temperature, 2008! A gem. We asked for a menu without fish, and she told me we were at the wrong restaurant. I told her I'd called and it would have been done somehow. In fact, we ordered a really good prosciutto crudo accompanied by giardiniera on a bed of tuna. Tuna? Yes, exactly, there must have been a mistake, my daughter is allergic. I asked the waitress for confirmation, and she told me it was mayonnaise, not tuna. She gave me a look that betrayed her disappointment. Okay, my daughter insists and tells me it was tuna, so I try it, and it's tuna! I get up, take it to the kitchen, and report the mistake. My daughter is allergic, she'll go to the hospital if she eats fish. A little later, a new giardiniera arrives on a bed of mayonnaise. They apologize, but I point out that it's not a matter of apologies, this is going to the hospital. Okay, I'll drink a glass of Radikon and forget about it. Back to natural wines, my neighbors at the table are the Radikon family and Paraschos, two excellent ones. Let's get to the bill: cash or card? Cash. Okay, the waitress reports the incident to the owner and asks him to prepare the bill, deducting something for the tuna issue. The owner tells her to sort it out (it's fair enough, you made a mess, deal with it), and she prepares the bill, without deducting anything! Who knows! Okay, I open my wallet and he tells me cash isn't acceptable because he had put a card payment, but I had asked for cash payment. Well, okay, we pay by card. In all this, I think back to my request for natural wines and see a fridge full of all sorts of goodies, my favorites. And thinking back to the waitress's response about organic wines, I realize that the staff needs training or they shouldn't be allowed to speak. I'm giving it two stars for friendliness. All that said, I ate well and will try to return, hoping for service on par with the cuisine. Marco

06/09/2025: We started with appetizers, skate salad, and fish meatballs—a fantastic start. The dinner continued with exceptional spaghetti with clams and remarkable tagliatelle allo scoglio. Finally, the dinner concluded with an excellent mixed grill of seafood. All the dishes were plentiful and of excellent quality, and the staff were truly friendly, smiling, and helpful. Highly recommended.
