14/08/2025: After careful review on where to stay, we decided on Masseria Dei Monaci. The photos looked beautiful and the surrounding serene. And the pictures were true, the grounds were lovely and the rooms were beautiful too. However, when entering, what we didn’t realize is the Masseria is 1 foot away from a very busy highway. So if you don’t mind the sounds of fast cars and Vespa’s going by 24hrs per day then you will be okay. Sitting by the pool is lovely, but again, the sounds of highway traffic take away from the relaxation and beauty. Another note worth mentioning and was quite disappointing was the mattress in our suite. It was a very thin mattress with all the springs visible which made for a very uncomfortable 5 nights. The breakfast is worth mentioning and was good. Overall, a disappointing stay on what was a truly exceptional holiday.

25/08/2025: The food was good and homemade (the dishes I choose). The staff is very friendly and it is nice and cozy, very authentic and definitely not commercial as some other restaurants here in Desenzano. It deserves more attention. Grazie Mille

14/09/2025: We met Alessandro on our way back from a hike up Monte Grosso. We entered his restaurant and he welcomed us with a glass of wine. We immediately connected with a French couple and another gentleman whose name I don't remember. He shared anecdotes with us as a native Elban, with a profound knowledge of the area, resulting in an unforgettable snack. We immediately booked dinner that evening. We had a delicious meal, excellent service, and a wonderful view. Thanks to Alessandro and all his staff.

17/07/2025: Outside looks lovely but inside near the kitchen is not a nice place to be. Pizza good. My wife’s pasta came 30mins before my pizza. We ate separately which is not a great dinner experience unfortunately

23/08/2025: The atmosphere is elegant, the staff extremely friendly, but the pizza was inedible. It was very thin, with deli meats that seemed poor quality, and it was so flavorless that it was more like a piadina. I'll eat there again, but definitely not the pizza.

23/08/2025: The pizzeria clearly scores points with its dreamy ambiance right on the lake – the view is truly stunning and invites you to linger. Unfortunately, the food, and especially the service, couldn't live up to that. The bruschetta was disappointing: the tomatoes seemed to have come straight from the refrigerator and therefore had little flavor. The rest of the food was okay, but nothing special. What was most disappointing, however, was the unfriendly service, which significantly spoiled the beautiful impression of the location. It's a shame, because the potential is actually great.

23/08/2025: The best restaurant on the entire lake!! If you want good food, fair prices, and great service, then you're in the best hands at Catullo. I can't think of anything I haven't enjoyed in the last 10 days. The fish is especially excellent! The prices, especially for drinks, are more than fair! Please try Catullo!!! Love to you!!

02/09/2025: A simple but clean and comfortable B&B located in a picturesque fishing village just south of Sorrento. The restaurant is excellent.

01/09/2025: Truly the best experience we’ve ever had at a restaurant. The entire staff treats you like family. My wife almost cried saying bye to everyone and I’ve seen her cry like twice in ten years. I’ll never forget this restaurant. I don’t know when we’ll be back but we will! Couldn’t recommend more. Was also the best seafood pasta I’ve ever had.

10/08/2025: The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The tuna was seared and not overcooked, so it was tender. The Ligurian-style octopus was truly Ligurian-style, with the octopus being so tender it was easy to eat.

10/08/2025: I had the mussels, and they were delicious. My husband had the grilled tuna, and he was also satisfied. Not to mention the baked stuffed peach...

14/08/2025: We were pleasantly surprised by this Trattoria in Cagliari: without hesitation, one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever eaten at, and with exceptional value for money! We enjoyed mussels marinière in tomato sauce as well as squid ink tagliatelle and fresh fried calamari... a pure delight, perfectly cooked and delicious in every bite. The service was impeccable, warm and attentive, making our lunch even more enjoyable. A place to recommend with your eyes closed!

25/07/2025: Run by Amalfi residents since 1978. The pizza is very good, rich and filling; you need to be hungry to finish it. The spaghetti allo scoglio are excellent, plentiful and well-seasoned.

19/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in tre qualche domenica fa: un antipasto di mare da dividere in tre, tre spaghetti alle vongole (pessimi) un litro di bianco alla spina, una bottiglia d' acqua,due caffè un sorbetto e una grappa. € 38,00 a persona. Vivamente sconsigliato.

04/09/2025: I can't go wrong here, the owner is super nice, the cousin is just like the one I used to have, if I close my eyes, I feel like I'm at my grandmother's table, the food is excellent, the price is fair, the best in my opinion is the Ligurian style rabbit, here it's really unbeatable

03/09/2025: Delicious and plentiful dinner. Excellent seafood risotto, a larger-than-average portion. The rustita for the second course was an excellent choice. Finally, the dessert, a chocolate cake with mascarpone mousse, was truly delicious. What's striking is the flavor of the food, fresh and expertly crafted. The portions are more than sufficient, I'd say generous, and the price is absolutely reasonable. Well done, everyone. You deserve the restaurant to be packed, precisely because you know how to do it. Location at the port, where it's nice to take a stroll afterwards. I'll definitely be back.

26/05/2025: Hemos vuelto muchas veces a esta hermosa villa en los últimos veinte años. Dirigida por la familia durante muchas generaciones, la bienvenida siempre es cálida para todos. La comida es excelente, de temporada y preparada con cuidado. Elección de vino, nunca decepciona. El servicio es excepcional. Todo dentro de esta hermosa villa con su autenticidad situada en impresionantes jardines. Por supuesto que volveremos. Gracias.
