12/08/2024: Mid-August place with the air turned off and the windows open, practically like eating in a sauna. We didn't like the service because it basically seems like they were trying to save on cutlery and glasses. There were 5 of us, one had a mixed grill and the others had hamburger sandwiches, too bad they only bring the placemat and cutlery when you order the grill. Basically they had decided that the 4 of the sandwich had to eat without cutlery and placemat, when I asked for cutlery the waitress replied with another question "How many?" Bah. We take a bottle of water and 4 cokes, they only bring a glass for water because the others had coca-cola, to drink water I had to ask for glasses. Now I understand that we are in a pub but the bare minimum must be done. Too bad... because the place is nice and the food isn't bad.

14/08/2024: Such a delicious Osteria. We have eaten there several times and can really give our full recommendation. If we are in Garda again, we will be happy to come back.

28/08/2024: Wonderful location, we were welcomed with great education and professionalism by the dining room staff. Excellent food! High quality fish! Very generous portions! Amazing tagliolini with white fish ragout! Calamarata all'amatriciana with pecorino cheese and bacon without words. Fish & chips with tzatziki sauce..never eaten anything tastier. The generous plates had more fish than anything else, never seen in other restaurants. Very low prices! Absolutely must try!

29/08/2024: We came here for an evening after a day trip around the Puglia Region. We have been to Polignano before and found many restaurants to be over hyped and over priced but here was definitely not the case. We sat on the rooftop balcony and enjoyed a wonderful meal with fresh Fish, local vegetables and wine. I would definitely recommend as it is slightly out of the way of the main town area and there is a beautiful view over the bay. Grazie

30/08/2024: The setting is incredible with a view of the countryside and I'm not talking about the cuisine which is simply incredible. We discovered specialties from the region there and all with the sympathy of the very pleasant and attentive staff. We recommend this restaurant 100% and the chocolate soufflé is a delight for the taste buds 😋😋🇮🇹🌼

13/08/2024: We came here hoping to have lunch at 13:15 PM. They opened at 12:30. There were several open tables when we arrived. There were probably only 4 or 5 active tables. When we asked to have lunch, the women working there rudely told us they were full despite there being numerous open tables. Don’t come here if you are American. They will turn you away. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we found a fantastic place for lunch instead a couple blocks away - Ristorante Menarosti. Take your business elsewhere.

09/08/2024: Very nice place with a well-kept outdoor area where you can dine in peace. The fish dishes were good and plentiful and the quality/price ratio was top. I recommend it

22/07/2024: The best Pesto and Pomodoro pasta I’ve ever had in my life! Truffle Gnocco for $10! The prices are incredibly reasonable. Must visit!!

18/06/2024: the food is great, but the service is just spectacular.... very very kind, thoughtful, and attentive servers... our toddler was in a bad mood and out blond server (I did not get her name) went out of her way to entertain her, brought her coloring pencils and paper, played with her.. and didn't at all get upset when our daughter got loud or ran around, the opposite, said it is ok she is just a kid... it meant a lot to us. and we loved the food so much that we came back the next day to order the same meal. a place that makes you feel at home. thank you to everyone there!!! we hope to see you again soon.

27/08/2024: Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a Castiglione e questo é stato il ristorante dell'ultima sera. Superlativo!!!! In un posto di mare saper cucinare il pesce e soprattutto servirlo fresco, viene dato per scontato e in questo ristorante la materia prima é garantita. Vi allego foto che confermano quanto detto 😜

24/08/2024: Abbiamo deciso di andare alla Casa Rossa dopo aver letto molte recensioni positive. Arrivati sul posto abbiamo trovato un locale alquanto mediocre come locazione, allestimento e arredo e abbiamo pensato che la sua fama fosse dovuta ad una cucina schietta ma gustosa, insomma da " trattoria di un tempo" in coerenza con l'aspetto del ristorante. La signora che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e cordiale,ma il ragazzo che ci ha poi servito probabilmente era in serata storta. I primi piatti sono effettivamente buoni, in particolare i pici alla salicornia con lupini (...non vongole). Abbiamo poi ordinato delle impepate di cozze. Grave errore! Non so come abbiano fatto, ma le Cozze erano prive di qualunque sapore. Ho avuto la sensazione che siano state bollite in acqua e poi impiattate con una minuscola fetta di limone e,a dispetto del nome, non vi era traccia di pepe. Senza infamia e senza lode la tartare di salmone con avogado. La qualità dei piatti non giustifica i prezzi specie in considerazione del tenore alquanto insignifante del ristorante. Insomma la valutazione complessiva non supera la mediocrità.
