02/08/2024: We ate well at Maurizio's in the new location which is a little difficult to find for those who are not local because it is not signposted. At the beginning we were offered a taste of couscous and some crusty bread. We had appetizers and first courses which were all tasty. I had some very good potato gnocchi with seafood. But my husband's pasta with breadcrumbs and sardines was really super... very good! Expensive wine list with little choice, informal service and not very refined equipment.

25/08/2024: Locale carino e pulito con annesso parcheggio a 20 MT. Location informale, con servizio gentile della ragazza che conta servito (e bene). Appena ti siedi ti danno un menù interminabile senza senso, visto che poi a voce ti dicono che i primi disponibili sono 4 (il menu ne porta una trentina). A parte questo, i prezzi sono nella norma, anzi meglio. Si mangia bene e le porzioni sono abbondanti. Non so esprimermi sulla carne, in quanto non neangiamo tanta e non l abbiamo ordinata. Per il resto è tutto nella norma, ma vista la pochezza in giro gli do 4 stelle per il rapporto qualità prezzo. Una nota, mozzarella molto molto buona. Consiglio di prenotare. Fanni anche pizza, ma ci tornerò per provarla(la sera). Ad ogni modo promosso senza problemi

And do you want the environment to be superlative? So, go to the pizzeria, L'Oro di Napoli, in Lido di Ostia and I assure you that you will be super happy!!! Highly recommended!!!

12/08/2024: Driven by the good reviews, I left central Rome and headed to this pizzeria. Once there, I ask for a table for two but they report waiting times of around 30 minutes, although the place had plenty of free seating both inside and outside. We decide to wait and after about 15 minutes, after pointing out the presence of empty tables, the waiter lets us sit inside. We order two Coca-Colas, a montanara and two pizzas. Very slow service despite the low turnout. After almost 20 minutes of waiting the montanara arrives, good I must admit. After that we waited in vain for the pizzas. And like us, other people also sat down beforehand. What happened? Almost an hour after arriving, the power goes out repeatedly and the whole place stops. Meanwhile, street vendors came in and out. Total confusion, to the point of deciding to go on an empty stomach. Ah, I forgot, there were no ingredients available for some pizzas, including buffalo mozzarella to the point of wanting to replace it with provola cheese!! 😳 Disappointment!!

24/08/2024: Had 3 courses, all local dishes and unfortunately all were OK. Not bad, not good. The owner/manager were nice. The waitress made me feel like I offended her some how. We sat for a long time after the last dish and the two tables nearby who got food after us already got the checks and left. I came to the front desk to ask for a check and was ignored. This was 9:30 PM, 2.5 hours after we arrived at the restaurant. We needed to hike the next day. Should have gotten pizza to take out and went to bed.
