26/07/2024: We had dinner at Renzo's last night. Very intimate setting, with few seats which make the atmosphere pleasant and relaxed. Friendly and helpful staff, with whom it was a pleasure to have a chat. Excellent quality food and above all with truly typical Sardinian products. As a Sardinian I felt at home! They also have a wide selection of wines. We will definitely return to try other dishes on the menu. If you are undecided about desserts I highly recommend the Seadas, it feels like being in Sardinia!

17/08/2024: Tasty food but it took a very long time (30 minutes) before an order was taken and then a very long time before our drinks arrived on the table (more than 20 minutes). It wasn't very busy, so why taking an order and bringing drinks took so long is a mystery to me.

23/08/2024: Be careful, the portions are large!! Many recipes and many types of fresh or dried pasta. Prefer the terrace for a view of the brand new marina (upscale side of Ventimiglia, yes, it exists!). Remember to book, the restaurant is very popular, it is one of the truly good restaurants in Ventimiglia. A bit of a canteen atmosphere in the room but you get used to it quickly.

11/08/2024: Far from your traditional Rome trattoria. When you walk in, it feels like you’re entering an exclusive nightclub. Judging by the upbeat electronic music and dark interior design, it almost is. Very nice staff who know wine, probably the first time in Rome where the red wine didn’t have the same temperature as the hot summer weather. My only complaint is that the volume for the wine by the glass was a bit low (it ain’t cheap). The kitchen mixes classic Italian with some modern influences. Experimental without being pretentious. We had the pigeon, which was well cooked on the skin side but left rare on the other, a bit weird but apparently “traditional”.

10/08/2024: Abbiamo preso spaghetti con le vongole che sembrava pasta in bianco con qualche vongola di sopra.... anche la frittura mista di pesce era gommosa e poco saporita. Insomma siamo andati lì spinti dalle buone recensioni precedenti ma ne siamo usciti molto insoddisfatti !!!

08/08/2024: Pesce freschissimo a prezzi economici, davanti al mare. Il locale interno è piccolo ma accogliente e un ambiente esterno abbastanza grande, staff cortese, numeroso e sempre disponibile alle tue richieste, consigliatissimo.

25/08/2024: Cercate un'esperienza culinaria che vi faccia sentire come in una gara di Formula 1? Beh è il posto che fa per voi! Qui, i camerieri sono talmente efficienti da far sembrare Usain Bolt un pigrone della domenica. La specialità della casa? Il gioco "Mangia prima che sparisca"! I piatti vengono levati da sotto il vostro naso con una rapidità tale che potreste trovarvi a masticare l'aria se non state attenti. È come se i piatti fossero equipaggiati con un timer di autodistruzione alla Mission Impossible. Forse stanno addestrando i camerieri per le Olimpiadi della Sparecchiata Veloce? C'è da dire che poi vi lasciano tranquilli al tavolo senza chiedervi di liberarlo, forse dovrebbero semplicemente dotarsi di un maggior numero di piatti. La pizza, devo ammetterlo, è buona. Le altre portate? Nella media, come la vostra possibilità di finire il pasto senza sentirvi in un episodio di "Prendi il piatto e scappa". I prezzi sono nella media. Dopotutto, dove altro potreste allenarvi a mangiare come se foste inseguiti da un predatore affamato? In conclusione, se volete un'esperienza culinaria che metta alla prova i vostri riflessi e la vostra capacità di masticare velocemente, è il posto che fa per voi. Ricordate: al Loroverde, non è il cliente ad essere sempre nel giusto, ma il cameriere ad essere sempre nel posto giusto al momento giusto... per portarvi via il piatto!
