28/05/2025: This place deserve way better reviews! My husband and I came to Ravello for a day trip and I found this restaurant on chatgpt bc I have lactose and gluten restrictions. I had the best beef fillet during my time in Italy and my husband had a great lobster pasta! He had an amazing aperol spritz and I had a virgin colada! Both were great! The service was fast and the view is just breathtaking! I was ao happy they had a decaf capuccino without lactose! It is so rare to find that in Italy! All the servers were very kind.

19/06/2025: My partner and I went there for dinner and we had a great time. Very good food and super high quality, not to mention the super particular and detailed explanation of the wines. Especially because it was done by Mr. Nicola who pampered us all evening. Top service and perfect location. We thank the maitre Nicola again because with his dedication to the customers he made our evening even more special.

01/06/2025: [Restaurant review]. I went to this agriturismo on a Saturday evening, convinced by the many positive reviews that spoke of the many local people who frequent it. The experience was unfortunately extremely disappointing. The house appetizer (good) was served shortly before 9:00 pm, while the second courses we had ordered only more than half an hour later. The worst thing was that the meat from the mixed grill arrived practically burnt; having reported this to a waiter, the dish was taken back and only a quarter of an hour later we were served a new plate of meat, also partly burnt. Of the vegetable side dish, the only edible thing were two pieces of courgette; the rest was burnt like the meat. The most unpleasant thing, however, was that when it came time to pay, the owner/manager first collected the payment (among other things, TheFork discount applied only at 18%, not 20%), and then asked if everything had gone well. When I answered no, he simply shrugged his shoulders and said goodbye with a "see you next time" (obviously no, never again).

24/06/2025: ordered the cotoletta alla milanese with a side of sautéed potatoes and the tiramisu. the cotoletta was good, but not the best i’ve ever had. the sautéed potatoes were also good, but could’ve had more flavour. the tiramisu was delicious and very moist. overall good service and kind servers.

21/06/2025: Perfect restaurant for a lunch break. Good and abundant dishes. They offer workers' menus with multiple variations and that's their strong point. The place is a bit noisy but then you get used to it.

A constructive suggestion: if you decide to raise the prices, it would be right to also adjust the quantities. The slightly larger portion does not weigh too much on the costs in the kitchen, but it can make a big difference on the customer experience. For info when I got home I ate🤦🏻‍♂️

21/06/2025: Got a recommendation of my hotel to come here as a "very genuine italian owned place". Our take is that the food was very bland and the service unpleasant. I'd recommend the hotel to stop recommending it.

21/06/2025: Everything was delicious. Excellent service. We ordered the cuttlefish, cod, spaghetti di mare, and lasagnetta. Everything was very good. I really liked the cod, and the portion was very generous.

11/06/2025: Avevo un voucher per una cena menù "radici", antipasto, primo, secondo, dolce e 2 calici. Mangiato un uovo fritto al cucchiaio, vitello tonnato fatto in modo tradizionale e rivisitato, risotto con formaggi, miele e noci, guancetta di maiale cotta a bassa temperatura e polenta. Tutto molto buono in una interessante location.

25/05/2025: My husband and I had considered several locations for our wedding day but as soon as we arrived at Villa Somis we fell in love with the villa, which seemed to have been built especially for us: elegant and simple. Chef Guido paid attention to our requests (my husband has several food intolerances and allergies) and created an ad hoc menu so that the groom did not have to give up anything; the raw materials were also excellent. Elisa, the event manager, was available to advise us, without being intrusive, on the arrangement of the tables and the arrangement of the set-up. Our guests were extremely satisfied with the menu and the service. Highly recommended!

07/06/2025: La struttura si presenta molto datata e a mio gusto personale non fa una buona impressione. La cameriera ci ha elencato i piatti fuori menù ma si è dimenticata di dire che alcuni piatti del menù non erano disponibili, come i tagliolini al salmone (causa mancata consegna della materia prima da parte del fornitore). Peccato averlo saputo nel momento in cui li stavo ordinando. A quel punto ho ripiegato sulla lasagna al ragù (uno dei piatti fuori menù) che però, quando mi è stata portata al tavolo, aveva un aspetto tremendo (come si può osservare dalle foto). Ho subito manifestato alla cameriera la mia perplessità sul fatto che ci fosse tutto quel "brodo" intorno, ma mi è stato risposto che è il loro modo di farla. A quel punto decido di mangiarla e il gusto non posso affermare che fosse cattivo, ma sicuramente nemmeno la migliore che abbia consumato. Per onestà devo dire che il piatto dell'amica che mi accompagnava, tagliolini al tartufo nero, si presentava molto meglio rispetto al mio. Nemmeno il secondo piatto, salsiccia con polenta, mi ha entusiasmato. Una delle due fette di polenta era secca, come se non fosse stata cotta sul momento. Una volta terminato, la cameriera ci elenca i dolci, noi diciamo che vogliamo aspettare un po' prima di ordinarli. Nella mezz'ora seguente lei e la collega ritornano almeno altre 3 volte per chiedere se volessimo ordinare i dolci. Quando finalmente siamo pronti, ci viene risposto che ormai è rimasta solo una fetta di cheesecake e un paio di fette di un altro dolce. Ma allora mi chiedo, viste tutte le volte in cui sono passate al nostro tavolo, non avrebbero potuto specificare che le porzioni di dolce erano limitate? Quindi ce ne siamo andati con la voglia di dolce. In sostanza io personalmente non mi sono trovato bene e non consiglierei questa osteria.
