08/11/2025: ✍️ 🆕️ GOOD FOOD AND A BREATHTAKING VIEW ✅️💥 🍖🍝🥂For lunch, we chose this restaurant for its slightly secluded location compared to the others along the main street and for the option of eating outside on its terrace, accompanied by an exceptional view. The food particularly amazed us: from the lightness of the asparagus flan as an appetizer, to the delicacy of the risotto with zucchini flowers and pine nuts, to the bold flavor of the blueberry pappardelle with white Chianina ragù. 25/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, absolutely beautiful. Wonderful food. I was surprised by the unusual, colorful tablecloths, but I found them very creative and beautiful. Luigi's service was phenomenal, and he was also very good-humored. I celebrated my 65th birthday in style. Thank you.

25/11/2025: Considering it's a trattoria and has won several awards for its meat, the Prussian steak is excellent. The first courses are also good.

23/11/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere, good service, and excellent food. Specifically, we ordered a house appetizer, a very good Campanaccio pizza, a pacchero panciovilla pasta, a rabbit pappardella, a 700g Chevrolet steak, two bottles of wine, one magnum, two liqueurs, and coffee. The prices were fair, except for the excessive markup on the wine and liqueurs (we paid €5 for a small glass of Pipernia). It would have been better if they'd offered them to us. Otherwise, congratulations!

16/11/2025: The best in Rome We dined two consecutive nights at this true Argentine gem in Rome. From the owners to the staff, they are simply extraordinary. Those familiar with Argentine cuisine (we go often because part of the family lives there) can appreciate the authenticity of the tradition and the top-quality ingredients even more. Special praise to the parilleros y asaderos for their skill in cooking the meat. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the prices are almost too good. A special mention for the best flan de pan I've ever tasted. We'll see you again soon!

26/10/2025: We waited 40 minutes for 2 pizzas despite having booked a table. They gave priority to takeaways and in the end we drank a warm bottled beer. I should point out that the table was booked before 8pm.

10/12/2025: We had cream pasta and seafood pasta. Both were reasonably priced for Venice and very satisfying. The service was also very attentive, especially since it was quiet.

08/12/2025: Excellent tourist menu for just €19, with truly delicious, tasty, and well-cooked dishes... not the usual low-quality menu designed to please passing tourists, but a presentation of dishes, from the starter to the main course, and the side dishes, truly worthy of a high-end restaurant. Well-maintained restaurant and welcoming staff. Last but not least, Shazzi, a friendly and welcoming waiter from Bangladeshi, who runs the restaurant with courtesy, kindness, and attention to detail... you'd return just for him. 18/10/2025: My husband and I went on the evening of October 16th. The fish was good and fresh, as were the piadinas. The desserts (cheesecake and millefeuille), however, weren't great. The guy at the cash register didn't issue a receipt.

15/12/2025: An unforgettable dining experience in Venice! Trattoria da Gianni was one of the best places we ate in Venice. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and clearly prepared with great care and quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, giving you a true Italian trattoria experience away from the tourist crowds. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for genuine Italian cuisine, generous portions, and an authentic Venetian experience, Trattoria da Gianni is a must-visit. We truly enjoyed every moment and would happily come back again!

08/11/2025: Using a hockey expression, this restaurant delivered an amazing Hat Trick. The service, presentation and taste were absolutely fantastic. We started with the tuna tatare. Then followed that with the catch of the day cooked Siciliano style.We couldn’t leave without trying the Homemade PannaCotta. This has to have been one of the best fish restaurant I have tried in a very long time. Thank you Salvatore!

29/11/2025: The perceived value is far higher than the actual value. The dishes are generous, well-prepared, and of high quality. A break with excellent food costs €16. I come here when I want to make a good impression, I highly recommend it!

29/11/2025: Dinner for two to celebrate my birthday. We already knew the place, and perhaps that's why our expectations were high. We certainly enjoyed excellent quality seafood, but there wasn't a WOW effect. The house appetizer is meant to be for the whole table, so I also ordered some oysters, which I confirm were very fresh and delicious. If I may make a suggestion, I would have liked the 14 small plates of cold and hot appetizers to have been served in multiple portions. They were brought all together by two very kind waiters and listed in three seconds... they don't do justice to the dishes, and more importantly, personally, when I tasted them, I couldn't remember exactly what they were. My husband then ordered the seafood carbonara (paccheri), and I had the gurnard stew. The gurnard was good, and the portions were certainly plentiful but also quite heavy. Overall, a good dinner, in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, but nothing more.

14/12/2025: Drawn by the stellar reviews, we went to this restaurant. We booked about a week in advance, arrived, and for some reason we didn't quite understand, there was no table. They asked us to wait a few minutes to be seated—no problem, obviously. We waited, and after about 10 minutes, a young woman, who I assume is the manager, told us that we could either sit down immediately but have to leave the table quickly, or we could wait some more. Her tone was hasty and annoyed, not very polite. We decided to sit down and eat quickly. We picked up the menu. Unfortunately, one pasta dish was undercooked, and another had been cooking for about a week. The portions, however, were generous, so I couldn't eat the main course; I only tasted it, but it wasn't anything special and lacked flavor. We ate in record time and left. The place is large, but they have tons of tables packed together. Honestly, I don't feel like recommending it, but it might be better during less crowded periods, who knows! 🤷🏻‍♀️

20/11/2025: Divine food. Excellent guinea fowl with chestnuts 😍🤩 Delicate and delicious tagliatelle with rabbit ragù. Special mention for the desserts. Friendly service. Small but well-kept setting.
