A very good experience, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the welcome was warm. Nice decor and the table was very clean.

The staff were very friendly, especially Vincenzo and Anthea. I enjoyed an exceptional fish soup, which was plentiful and enough for two. The Cyclops-themed restaurant is very beautiful. Highly recommended.

A very nice place, good food, fresh fish, perfectly grilled. Of course, the prices are higher because it's Taormina, after all. The lady who served us was fantastic, she connected with us immediately. Best regards and I recommend it.

Very nice place with top-notch service. The four of us had various dishes, all delicious and plentiful. We drank excellent Etna white wine and Sicilian specialties for dessert. The sardines alla beccafico are spectacular!!!

Saturday evening in Taormina without a reservation. At Il Ciclope, they greeted us with a warm smile and only a five-minute wait. Super professional staff, fast service, and refined dishes made with quality ingredients. Definitely worth a try.

26/05/2026: I'm a bit torn about rating this restaurant, because my experience was marked by stark contrasts between the quality of the service and the livability of the place. The atmosphere: A decidedly sore point. The dining room is overcrowded, with too many tables crammed into a decidedly inadequate space. As a result, the tables are very close together and the atmosphere becomes extremely noisy, making it difficult even to chat. The service: The staff is excellent, courteous, and meticulous. However, the time management is decidedly too fast. In just an hour, we saw various appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses parade across the table. More than a relaxing lunch, it felt like a race against time: the risk is that you gorge yourself without being able to fully enjoy the dishes, which deserve a more relaxed pace. In summary: The food is good and the staff is excellent, but the rush and chaos of the dining room take away the pleasure of conviviality. Would I go back? Maybe yes, but only on a weekday and hoping for less crowds.
