18/08/2025: If you really want to eat top-notch Italian food, let them decide for you. We had several courses in small portions, but all were Michelin-star quality. It was delicious, with a very Italian touch. But you want to know what you're eating. And the dessert was sublime. Thanks for the gastronomic Italian evening, Nonna Maria!! And it's full of Italians, which usually means it's soooooooo good.

09/08/2025: Il Pirata del Porto: the pasta was a bit of a challenge, but the sauce was a real treat A Pearl of the Sea in the Heart of Bologna I had the opportunity to dine at the "Il Pirata del Porto" restaurant in Bologna, and the experience was overwhelmingly positive. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making my stay immediately enjoyable. For my lunch, I opted for a classic, spaghetti allo scoglio, accompanied by water and coffee, for a final bill of €22.50. The portion was generous, and above all, the sauce was remarkable: a truly rich, flavorful seafood dish that fully met my expectations. Octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, and even lobster blended together in a well-balanced sauce, making every bite a true pleasure. If I really had to find a small criticism, it was the pasta itself. While not bad, I found it slightly overcooked, lacking the perfect al dente consistency that best enhances a dish of this type. This is a minor sin, but it detracted from the overall experience. Overall, "Il Pirata del Porto" remains an excellent choice for those looking to enjoy quality seafood in Bologna. With a little improvement in the cooking of the pasta, the dish would have been truly perfect.

12/09/2025: Luna Sentada is a cute spot by a quiet canal, away from the crowds—a lovely place to relax. We chose it based on great reviews and photos, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations. The caprese salad lacked flavor, the beef ragù pasta was just okay, and while the sea bass was good, the tiramisu was a real letdown—runny and unset, the worst we had in Italy. Maybe we were just unlucky that night. Come here for a drink or a glass of wine and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

20/08/2025: I wish there had been time to point out to the relevant authorities that... The structure is original and astonishing. The service was very fast, attentive, and courteous. The lasagna was wonderful. The mixed platter... I expected better quality porchetta (dry and lacking in character). Another negative aspect was the transparency of the two slices of prosciutto, two soppressata, and two capocollo, which were truly embarrassing to present. Obviously, I keep in mind that for the price charged, one could and should do better. Also because, it's impossible to enjoy its goodness unless you serve it in the right quantity. But I'll be back, and I'll let you know. Good work.

07/09/2025: Great location for lunch after surfing. Unfortunately, a quarter of my beef fillet was quite flabby and riddled with tendons. I sent it back and showed it to the waiter, but there was no apology, nor was he even interested. His response was just a quiet "okay." The rest of the food was good, except for the grilled vegetables, which were a bit too oily. Overall, though, it was pretty average, and the price was too high.

As typical, unique, and wonderful as the place is, what made our stay unforgettable was the presence of Rita, Franca, and Sara (along with Nocciolino, Turchese, and their other four-legged friends). A place for those who want to enjoy tranquility, nature, and a sense of home. A place to recharge your batteries and completely disconnect from the city. Words don't do it justice; you have to go there to experience it.

05/09/2025: A small, fine, very welcoming family restaurant with divine food. We unexpectedly went there twice during our vacation because it was so delicious. You're greeted with a drink. The menu is trilingual (Italian, English, and German), and Grandma takes your order. The starters are a good size, some even suitable for two if you want to enjoy everything. Then comes the main course; both the pasta dishes and the fish and meat dishes were delicious. Then comes the fantastic dessert; they're all so delicious that you don't want to finish them all. To finish, there's a lemon sorbet. Excellent, definitely recommended for all tastes.
