14/08/2025: Good gelato, but terrible service. Three employees were present, all extremely slow. With only one register open and a line of about 10 people, the wait was interminable. A real shame, because the quality of the gelato doesn't make up for such poor organization.

18/06/2025: I had lunch at this all you can eat sushi Chinese and Italian cuisine, we arrived at 1pm practically half the trays of the cooked buffet were empty after more than half an hour they managed to fill the buffet a bit, Italian cuisine almost non-existent and the fried food of all kinds really greasy, I don't understand the positive reviews, the only positive thing that day was the 20% discount on the menu

13/08/2025: We were really looking forward to a last-minute lunch at Marlin this afternoon to meet some local friends. We wanted to order the €40 seven-course menu as offered. Wow, great value at first glance! Too bad... we were later told that all four people had to order it, even though there was no mention of this on the menu. The fourth person preferred a lighter dish from the menu, so the waiter offered us a small menu for three people with two courses served in rather light quantities: a small tuna tartare and a pasta dish with clams. Two children also had a choice of pasta. When we received the bill, we realized that the two-course menu cost €40 per person. As restaurateurs, we know that some products are more expensive, but please be honest with your customers about the portions and the final price, because €240 was truly not justified by the service and the dishes served. Bitter experience in Sonnaro and an impression of tourist traps.

09/08/2025: On the recommendation of friends, we decided to try this restaurant. The staff was friendly, but a bit aloof (perhaps due to internal policy, perhaps due to attitude... I don't know). A decent selection of fish, presented in a unique and refined way. If the owner accepts a personal opinion, many people enjoy eating fish without too many frills and condiments. The desserts were decent, nothing extraordinary. The wine list was average for the restaurant. As usual, half bottles are still a dream (and for the record, that evening a patrol stopped us and asked me to take a breathalyzer test... which I passed). The quality/price ratio was very fair. Would I recommend it? Yes, for a dinner with friends or a quick midweek dinner. To celebrate an anniversary, I'd suggest other places that offer that little something extra. But let's be clear... in the heart of Saronno, which wants to return to being the beautiful town it was a few years ago, this restaurant is an excellent and commendable staple.

08/07/2025: On July 5, 2025, we had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding in this splendid location (a truly peaceful haven) surrounded by greenery. The appetizers and main courses were exquisite, the Chantilly cake was delicious, the service excellent, and the staff very friendly. 10/08/2025: If you come to Osteria Da.Ma., you come for the meat... And you know it right away because, as soon as you enter, you're greeted by a display case of dry-aged meat... The place is simple and spartan, but that's fine because this is a place with substance. The staff is extremely kind and composed of young people, who know how to guide and advise you in your choice. We chose a splendid Piedmontese Fassona rib-eye steak, cooked perfectly rare (a word of advice: if you like your meat overcooked, this is not the place for you. The magnificent cuts of meat would be ruined) served on a slab of Himalayan pink salt, which, in addition to giving it just the right saltiness, also has the advantage of helping to retain the meat's warmth. Of course, the choice of cuts and origins of the meat is vast and can satisfy all palates. The selection of cured meats is also very unique. They let us try a lightly smoked cow's ham, which was marvelous. The wine selection is quite extensive, with wines from almost all over Italy (except for Campania wines), allowing you to create the perfect pairings with your food based on your personal tastes. The price may seem high, but it's absolutely proportionate to the quality of the service and the restaurant's food and wine offerings.

09/08/2025: This is our first time at this restaurant. The meat is DELICIOUS, tender, and flavorful; it's definitely worth a visit. The tartare (a typical Italian steak) as an appetizer is excellent, and the meat as a main course is delicious and well-cooked. The staff are friendly and professional. This is definitely our favorite place right now when we want to eat excellent grilled meat. Thank you!

11/06/2025: We went to the market in Luino today, which was also very nice, but extremely overpriced, especially for the food... tourists pay for everything. But since we like good coffee/cappuccino, we researched where to go the day before. So we went to Pasticceria Cerinotti for lunch. To our delight, they had a wide selection of croissants with blueberries, chocolate, and pistachio cream... and for a fair price of €2 each! The cappuccino is also available vegan with soy milk. Everything tasted very good and saved our lunch 😀 The seating area is adequately equipped with standard bistro tables and chairs, but depending on how busy it is, it can be very noisy.

24/07/2025: Delicious kebab. Very friendly service. The piadina is homemade and you can taste it! Very good. When you eat it, the piadina doesn't break, it stays whole, and the sauce doesn't drip all over you.

20/07/2025: My husband and I spontaneously dropped by one Sunday lunchtime. The service was super attentive and friendly. We were even allowed to bring our two dogs. Since we love truffles and Piedmont, we opted for truffle dishes. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I won't forget the meal. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back. Thanks for the wonderful time :).
