29/12/2024: We ate in this characteristic farmhouse with 8 people, 6 adults including an elderly lady and 2 little girls, attracted by the good reviews and the desire to taste some typical dishes of the local tradition. The menu is fixed although the dishes are discovered during the evening. We were hoping, as read in other reviews, for pizzoccheri and polenta with ribs but things went differently. As an appetizer we enjoyed some excellent shiatt which were accompanied by a simple cabbage salad to refresh the "heaviness" of the fried food. The first good one, gnocchi with venison ragù. As a second course, taroz (mashed potatoes, melted cheese and green beans) with some sausage cut into pieces. Not great, especially the sausages we didn't understand. Apple pie for dessert. 1 bottle of wine 2 bottles of sparkling water (1.5 liters in plastic) 2 carafes of still water 2 coffees Total cost €290 (approximately €36.50/person) The place has no parking and especially in the evening it is challenging because there is very little lighting, you are forced to park along the road which is already narrow in itself and the fear is that other cars, during transit, will get dangerously close to those park on the thin shoulder not protected by guard rails from the cliff. To turn around you are forced to reverse up a stony slope where I skidded the car, situations that can happen in isolated places with few services. Furthermore, accessibility to the entrance to the venue is challenging. The elderly lady who was with us found it difficult to go up and down the steep slope and the impervious stairs that lead from the state road to the entrance, located at the top. I'm not complaining, but perhaps these are the reasons why farmhouses like this tend to keep prices low, precisely to reserve customers willing to overlook some negative aspects. I was disappointed because I would have expected a lower price of around €50 compared to the dishes reserved for us which on average were not bad at all. Last note, we arrived at 8.15pm and left at around 11.45pm. 3 and a half hours for 3 courses is really a lot, being on holiday there were no weigh-ins, but in other situations it would have been damn long... I want to end on a positive note, the guys at the service were delightful and unfortunately it is absolutely not up to them that bitter taste that remains in the mouth even if you would like to swallow it away. I'm leaving the review because Google asked me to, usually when I leave a somewhat contradictory place I tend to let it go. I tried to be as objective and honest as possible.

I understand the ice (but then I say....you don't even prepare the ice????? - YOU WRITE A SIGN "NO SPRITZ DUE TO LACK OF ICE" AND ONE DIRECTLY ASKS YOU FOR ANOTHER.... HE'S NOT WAITING FOR THE ICE AND YOU'RE SERVING THE PEOPLE AT THE CHECKOUT!!! P Then you go and ask for info and you see him cashing in on like 10 people!!! I don't recommend it!!!!!! I won't be returning. Safe. Be careful how you label your customers.

01/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante eravamo 14 amici per due cene,e devo dire che ci siamo trovati benessimo personale molto disponibile e accogliente.Le pietanze oltre ad essere abbondanti erano molto buone, ma soprattutto consiglio di non perdervi i Pizzoccheri favolosi .

28/10/2024: Simple and rustic restaurant on the river bank with adjoining trout farm and open grill. Abundant and well-executed dishes. The appetizer was very good with the selection of trout offered in different preparations and, a very pleasant discovery, the combination of ingredients proposed for the burger, also made with trout. Kind and patient staff. Good quality/price ratio. Public paid parking not far away on the opposite side of the river, reachable by crossing the bridge.

03/03/2025: I had dinner with my partner after a long day of skiing, we decided to try the tasting dinner to try the different traditional dishes of the area. The service is absolutely impeccable, the dishes are very carefully prepared and delicious, and the environment is very welcoming, maintaining a traditional and refined style. I highly recommend for the quality of the dishes and the service.

15/02/2025: We went to this restaurant and, all in all, the experience was ok, but with some aspects that could be improved. The staff were friendly but not particularly welcoming. We were disappointed by the quality of the soufflé, which unfortunately was not successful: the consistency was almost liquid and did not resemble a real soufflé at all. Considering that the dish cost 15 euros, we would have expected a different quality. We reported it, but the restaurant did nothing to fix it, which surprised us a bit. Having said that, the pizzoccheri were good but the soufflé episode left a bit of a bad taste in the mouth. We probably won't return.

08/03/2025: Beautiful location, excellent dishes! Possibility of consuming delicious aperitifs or continuing the evening in the lounge bar below or having fun on the e-kart track during the day. Recommended!👍🏻👏🏻

06/03/2025: Of an obsessive cleanliness. Kindness from all the staff. Happened on a work day with "regular" customers, it will be my destination even on non-weekdays. A kart track is also part of the structure... which could also be of interest to people interested in this activity.

22/03/2025: Service at the highest level - the waiters were polite, smiling and always ready to help, but not pushy at the same time. We felt really welcome. As for the food - absolutely sensational! Every dish was perfectly prepared, fresh and full of flavor. You can see that the chefs put their heart into what they do. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates high quality food and professional service. I will definitely come back!

06/03/2025: Modern, casual, cosy and with a good vibe, fair priced and homemade food above average. Safe choice for all occasions. Great selection of wines. Best coffee Americano ever (not really an Americano - way too much good flavour).

07/03/2025: Una perla nel centro di Bormio, un ristorante stupendo. Abbiamo cenato con piatti tipici e rivisitati squisiti, buffet di dolci buonissimi a completare il tutto. Personale eccezionale in un clima molto accogliente e familiare. Complimenti a tutto lo staff, vivamente consigliato a chiunque!

08/02/2025: Abbiamo deciso di mangiare qui in modo un po' improvvisato. Ambiente molto accogliente e ben curato, personale molto disponibile, simpatico e professionale e cibo di davvero ottima qualità! Il prezzo è ottimo per la qualità e la quantità del cubo servito! Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Ho mangiato degli sciatt,tipico piatto valtellino, fantastici,leggeri e digeribili, i migliori che abbia mai mangiato in tutta la provincia, buoni anche gnocchetti di Chiavenna e anche pizzocheri e tagliata.Prezzi nella media considerando la zona turistica

23/02/2025: The hotel inside is stuck in the 80s but gives off a strong heat. The owner is really kind and approachable. We only stayed one night and we had a divine dinner, the same goes for the really well made breakfast.
