Rifugio Viola In Valdidentro

The Viola refuge was my first experience of staying overnight in an alpine refuge located at the end of the valley of the same name. I slept in a very nice shared dormitory equipped with all the necessary services, including a shower. The refuge is lovingly managed by the Fraquelli family; simple, welcoming and caring people. Typical dinner based on polenta, stew, typical cheeses, salami, buckwheat cake with blueberry complete with truly regenerating wine after the long 4-hour walk climbing from Sfazu' (Switzerland) through the Val di campo. The only limit is the almost total absence of telephony field...which perhaps isn't even a limit 😀! An experience to repeat, perhaps climbing from Arnoga in Val Viola, just to try an alternative route. Oh I forgot... the Alpine scenery you encounter is enchanting, the lakes and streams are of rare beauty!

Non potendo valutare la comodità delle camere, poiché non vi ho alloggiato; posso tuttavia valutare la parte del ristoro: mangiato abbastanza bene, peccato solo per il caffè non in macchinetta, di scarsa qualità; ma il cibo nel complesso di buona qualità con un servizio abbastanza rapido. Proprietari gentili e cordiali con i clienti.

Rifugio in val Viola situato in un' ottima posizione con una bella vista consiglio di prenotare se si vuole mangiare lì. Non ho avuto modo di pranzare ma ho preso un caffè, il personale è davvero molto gentile e disponibile a dare informazioni sui sentieri e sulla valle! Bravi ottimo servizio!!!!

Una vera sorpresa quella ched tale rifugio offre. ovvero un menu degustazione ad un prezzo veramente economico, da riuscire a soddisfare quasi tutti i palati,, bravi ragazzi!

Come da titolo la struttura del rifugio dimostra tutti i suoi anni. Vero che è un rifugio ma certi aggiornamenti sarebbero proprio da realizzare. Un esempio? Un unico bagno, all'interno al primo piano, per uomini e donne :-( Considerando l'ampio afflusso di turisti una migliore soluzione sarebbe opportuna. Nulla possiamo dire sul cibo/servizio avendo scelto di non fermarci per scendere al Federico.
