07/12/2025: We came all the way from Milan specifically to admire this fabulous view, ruined by tasteless dishes. Bland cured meats (except for the lard—in fact, I gained weight because I only ate that—and the spicy butter).
The sciatt were sloppy, and I stared blankly at this fantastic view while chewing on bland pizzoccheri. Let's just say it wasn't worth it. Next time, I'll eat them at home while looking at a beautiful photo. The decorative antipasti salad is recommended. The owner was as cold as the outside temperature. But my internal anger became very hot when I was stuck on the road home for more than 40 minutes without being notified by her. Summary: never again.

View of the city of Tirano (if seated on the veranda).
Tried: sciatt, cured meats, risotto; venison.

29/12/2025: We ate at this restaurant twice during our vacation in Livigno. I recommend it first and foremost because the staff is very friendly (even though it was almost 3:00 PM and there were eight of us, they sat us down and served us quickly!). Secondly, the food is good (especially the pizza) and the prices are very fair! I recommend booking.

17/09/2025: We've been back a couple of times already, not to stay, but for dinner: exquisite home-made products. We also tried Taroz (a traditional Valtellina dish, now hard to find). The owners are lovely and friendly. Highly recommended.

Wonderful location between Gavia and Santa Caterina. Stunning views. Everyone is friendly and smiling.
Trust their recommendations, the specials of the day... but save room for the mixed cheese platter (superb cheeses) and, of course, the desserts made with their milk.
The mountain hut is also a halfway point/stop on hiking trails.
You can't miss it.
I'll definitely return and recommend it.

29/08/2025: Great lunch consisting of tagliata di manzo, semifreddo di taneda and a glass of local red wine. Everything was top notch.
Very comfortable and attractive dining area inside, and a covered patio with tables outside to enjoy the view when the weather is nice.
I walked there from the bus stop at the bottom of Val Federia, which was nice as the last half of the walk was on a trail. To return I walked straight down the meadow to town as the hay had recently been cut.
Highly recommend. Will definitely return.

It's Christmas day and we don't have a reservation for lunch.
I read all the reviews from this restaurant and firstly I was very worried about going inside, due to all these negative reviews, since we are very picky eaters.
Gladly we did it!
The food is really outstanding!
We had pasta, pizza, desert.

07/11/2025: Their pizza is always a guarantee, with top-quality ingredients and a staff that's always courteous, no matter the occasion. The pizza selection is always extensive, with a wide variety of toppings that never disappoint, never boring. Reasonable prices. It's the only remaining slice-and-serve pizzeria in the area, and there must be a reason why!

20/12/2025: Ordered at 1:22 PM, arrived at 1:54 PM. Ordered takeout, and saw people walk past me who had ordered long after me. It's not normal to go and complain about your order (bresaola and parmesan roll with a 0% Coke). Rude staff, sometimes even rude after politely asking for your order. I'll never set foot in there again.

29/12/2025: We stayed over the Christmas period and had a truly wonderful time. The receptionist was courteous and helpful in accommodating our requests, and recommended some good places to eat. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with every comfort (the hairdryer has a low voltage, so if you have long hair, it's best to bring your own). The breakfast was very generous, and we lacked nothing. We'll definitely be happy to return!
