15/07/2026: Excellent local cuisine, I had scatt and pizzoccheri for 2 people; generous portions and delicious at fair prices, the owners were kind and helpful, definitely worth repeating and I highly recommend it!!

The prime location allows for easy exploration of local attractions, while private parking is a great advantage for those arriving by car. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained (some have a small terrace offering splendid mountain views), with particular attention to cleanliness evident at first glance. The warm, family-friendly atmosphere contributes to a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, making your stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast is particularly noteworthy: in addition to a wide selection of sweet and savory buffet items, the hotel offers the option of ordering hot dishes served directly at your table, such as eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, and warm croissants. This initiative is highly appreciated, especially for those wishing to avoid food waste, as it offers personalized, high-quality service. The restaurant offers traditional Valtellina cuisine—prepared with top-quality ingredients—ensuring an authentic, high-quality culinary experience. The staff is distinguished by their courtesy and kindness, always attentive to guests' needs. This is our second visit to this hotel, and each time it confirms its excellence. 05/07/2026: Hotel Restaurant, located on the right-hand side of the hill (towards Sondrio). It offers a beautiful view. Parking is available. Lunch, returning from the Stelvio Pass. Friendly welcome, clean rooms, and tastefully decorated. The pizzoccheri are amazing; I haven't had better ones since the 1980s. Generous portions. The menu features several local specialties. Polite and friendly staff. It's worth a visit if you like authentic places. The deliciousness and quality make it worth the trip.

03/05/2026: Stunning views, excellent location for reaching Tirano. We had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious, the pizzoccheri were TOP! The breakfast was generous and plentiful, the room was clean, the bathroom was small but had everything you need, and the staff was knowledgeable and very friendly.

29/12/2025: We stayed over the Christmas period and had a truly wonderful time. The receptionist was courteous and helpful in accommodating our requests, and recommended some good places to eat. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with every comfort (the hairdryer has a low voltage, so if you have long hair, it's best to bring your own). The breakfast was very generous, and we lacked nothing. We'll definitely be happy to return!

19/07/2026: I eat there for lunch on my work break. Excellent, very large restaurant, recently renovated, although there is still work underway. There is ample parking, friendly and fast staff, and good value for money.

25/06/2026: There are restaurants where you eat well, and then there are places that stay in your heart. Piano Liguori undoubtedly belongs to the latter category. We called Signora Maria that morning to ask if we could try the famous Ischian rabbit. She simply replied, "Come, I'll take care of it." Only later did we discover that she had prepared the rabbit especially for us, just hours earlier. A gesture of generosity and authenticity that is truly rare these days. To get there, you have to earn it. Our scooter gave up at the beginning of the climb, and we continued on foot under the sun. Twenty minutes of effort that, once we arrived, were completely forgotten. One of the most beautiful views I've ever seen opened up before us: Capri, Vesuvius, Mount Faito, and an endless sea. A place worth the trip alone. Signora Maria welcomed us as if we were family friends. A pitcher of water with fresh lemons, a jug of homemade white wine, and immediately after, bucatini with rabbit sauce arrived, complemented by a local aged cheese that made them simply perfect. Then came the star: a masterfully cooked Ischian rabbit, tender, juicy, and full of flavor, complete with all the innards, just as tradition dictates. A dish that tells the story of the island far better than any guidebook. As if that weren't enough, during lunch we were accompanied by two cats and a dog, patient and delightful, who enthusiastically appreciated the bones we left behind. They made the atmosphere even more familiar and genuine. At the end of lunch, we spoke with Signora Maria, who told us a little about her story. At that moment, we realized we hadn't just come to eat, but to live an experience. As a chef living and working in Sydney, I'm fortunate to often eat at excellent restaurants. Yet this was one of the most authentic and memorable gastronomic experiences I've had in recent years. You don't come here just for the food, but for the people, the view, the journey required to get there, and the heart Maria puts into every single dish. Thank you for everything, Maria. I'm sure that when I return to Ischia, my first reservation will be with you again.

28/05/2026: Very friendly. Giro also speaks a little German. The food is very tasty and delicious. The view is beautiful in good weather, and you can easily spend a lot of time here. There's also often a complimentary treat from the house, which is always delicious.

05/08/2026: I was there about a month ago. I'll start by saying that every time I've been there, I've had a great time. Maybe it was the wrong night, but the pizza was served burnt, and the pizzoccheri, unfortunately, lacked flavor due to the cheese. I can understand the pizzoccheri, because everyone makes them their own way, but you can see how the pizza looks when you take it out of the oven, so it's not served burnt. That's precisely why I didn't say anything, as they brought me the pizza just by looking at it. I think I'll go again to see if it was the wrong night or something... I hope it'll be as good as the other times.

03/08/2026: Incredibly ignorant waiters!!! We were greeted, then sat for 15 minutes (the restaurant wasn't even full!) as if we'd been completely ignored! It seemed like the waiters were serving everyone around us. We weren't even looked at again. We left without eating. The service was abysmal. We would give less than one star!
