01/02/2026: We stopped on the way back from Como for dinner, and my husband, who is celiac, browsed the menu and couldn't find anything he could eat because even a simple grilled steak had the number 1 for foods containing gluten!!! So I called the waitress to ask for an explanation and was told that there's only one kitchen and that the flour is volatile and they don't take responsibility... On the other hand, she said they had gluten-free pizza, and I wondered how she could be sure it wasn't contaminating while baking it!!! considering there's only one kitchen, including the oven!! Honestly, it's the first restaurant I've come across with a situation like this... Then in the end, he ordered the steak, but honestly, I don't think we'll go back there because I think that if they can't make the first courses for people with gluten intolerances, at least the grilled meat second courses should be safe!!

19/01/2026: Today, after two years of not coming, I went into the cafeteria. It wasn't clear that I had to get the food and go upstairs. It used to be like that. The bottom line is, the man at the bar gave me a somewhat rambling answer. The blonde lady, when I asked a polite question, replied, "So what?" We should have simply said that we had to get the food and go upstairs. I left, and I won't be eating here again.

08/03/2026: I'm torn about giving this rating because the pizza is really good, light, and doesn't leave you thirsty. Unfortunately, the overall experience was terrible. At a table of five, the waiter literally ignored me while I was ordering, and when I pointed it out, he didn't offer an apology. The pizza was almost thrown into my hand with extreme reluctance. To top it off, the beer had a soapy aftertaste, and the desserts were clearly industrially made. The decor is poorly maintained, and the final bill was quite steep for the treatment I received. I don't think I'll be back.

We were welcomed with friendly hospitality and rediscovered the flavors and values ​​of the mountains: handmade dishes, generous portions, and fantastic service. The grand finale was with the owner who delighted us with his complimentary sweets and amaro! A must-stop every time we pass through Madesimo from now on!

16/02/2026: The cuisine determines the quality of a restaurant. At this place, the chef bought a lot of salt and didn't know where to add it. Two dishes were terribly oversalted: the pizzoccheri sauce and the gnocchi sauce. For a place that charges 15 euros for these dishes, this is unacceptable. We didn't complain only out of respect for the friends who invited us. The prices are high. Main courses start at 25 euros. The desserts were delicious.
