12/05/2026: We had the pleasure of staying again at this welcoming hotel located in the center of Teglio, and as always, our experience was extremely positive. The prime location allows for easy exploration of local attractions, while private parking is a great advantage for those arriving by car. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained (some have a small terrace offering splendid mountain views), with particular attention to cleanliness evident at first glance. The warm, family-friendly atmosphere contributes to a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, making your stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast is particularly noteworthy: in addition to a wide selection of sweet and savory buffet items, the hotel offers the option of ordering hot dishes served directly at your table, such as eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, and warm croissants. This initiative is highly appreciated, especially for those wishing to avoid food waste, as it offers personalized, high-quality service. The restaurant offers traditional Valtellina cuisine—prepared with top-quality ingredients—ensuring an authentic, high-quality culinary experience. The staff is distinguished by their courtesy and kindness, always attentive to guests' needs. This is our second visit to this hotel, and each time it confirms its excellence. Recommended for those seeking a comfortable stay, attentive service, and excellent traditional cuisine. We will definitely be back!

25/09/2025: We came today with our dog. The staff was very kind and helpful; we had excellent polenta for lunch, followed by a delicious buckwheat cake. Despite my dog's constant barking, the owner remained friendly and kind. Highly recommended refuge in a beautiful valley with high-quality service and food. I can only give it 5 stars.

03/05/2026: Stunning views, excellent location for reaching Tirano. We had dinner at the hotel and it was delicious, the pizzoccheri were TOP! The breakfast was generous and plentiful, the room was clean, the bathroom was small but had everything you need, and the staff was knowledgeable and very friendly.

03/05/2026: Truly beautiful place, I think it's one of the nicest places I've eaten in a mountain town. Friendly service. The food was very good. They also have perfect menus with various dishes. I recommend the ragù, which is always good in the mountains, and the pasta in general. I strongly advise against the mixed grill because for €18/20, what you get is really cheap, but maybe that's due to the high prices these days. For a main course, wine, and dessert, we spent around €25 each. They make good ice cream.

27/12/2025: A completely new restaurant with a modern style. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent dishes, a wide selection. Prices are in line with the type of restaurant. I recommend making a reservation; it's very popular. Takeout is very generous, but they often don't respect pickup times, especially when the restaurant is busy.

23/04/2026: During our city tour, we stopped at Bar Vicini for a coffee. Friendly and quick service, delicious coffee, and a simply inviting terrace in the sun to linger and enjoy.

18/04/2026: Nice bar in Chiavenna! Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, as we didn't eat there. The Aperol Spritz was good and, at €5, really inexpensive compared to Germany. It was very lively in the bar on a Friday evening with lots of young people. A really nice place to sit outside. Beautiful historic old town.

07/05/2026: That was absolutely delicious! We tried Roberto Pastry's panettone for breakfast at a hotel. We liked it so much that we immediately went to the bakery to buy one. Fantastic quality and an amazing taste with very high-quality ingredients. Top-notch. Yes, the price isn't cheap, but it's completely justified given the quality and craftsmanship. The box was carried with pride, like a man's handbag. 😂

31/05/2026: The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms haven't been renovated in a while, but that didn't bother me. My only complaint is that I expected a bit more from the dinner for the price. Otherwise, it's a pleasant hotel.

27/04/2026: The Pedranzini family has strong ties to this region and has run this property for years, fostering a welcoming, homely atmosphere. They can often be found on-site, personally dedicated to serving guests; the indispensable Norberto manages everything. It's worth visiting for the beautiful natural surroundings, and just behind the hotel to the right is a ski lift.

07/10/2025: The pizza and pasta were delicious. The pizza could perhaps have been a bit darker, but otherwise very good. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The bistro seems very family-friendly and uncomplicated. The price of just under €30 for lunch for two, including drinks, is honestly almost too low. It could have been a bit more. We'd be happy to come back.
