01/05/2026: I think the quality has gone down compared to past years. It used to be my favorite place. Now it doesn't mean anything to me anymore! With the influx of people these days, the dishes were lukewarm/cold, and it's hard to enjoy them. The appetizers were quite good, not very flavorful, but we ate them. The first course (pizzoccheri, with a request for them to be piping hot) was good. We really didn't like the desserts; we had to leave them there, they weren't good.

02/04/2026: I've been to the Al Cenacolo restaurant, and unfortunately, I have to say my experience was once again negative. I'd been shocked by the rudeness of the staff in the past, especially the lady who greets customers. But today she truly outdid herself, winning the "Rudeness of the Year" award. We called and asked: "We'll be there in 5 minutes, do you have a table?" — the answer: "I have to see... yes, but 3 minutes." We arrived in 8 minutes, went in, and were greeted with a curt: "Too late." An unacceptable and completely disrespectful attitude toward customers. I will NEVER again set foot in a restaurant with such rude staff. I promised myself each time it would be the last, and finally I'll keep my word. I can't stand rudeness, nor those who work in the restaurant industry without passion, without attention, and without the slightest ability to welcome guests. Goodbye forever: you've lost two customers.

22/04/2026: For personal reasons, I had to spend a Sunday afternoon in Talamona. My family and I decided, after some research, to have lunch at Crotto La Piazza. What can I say? We were completely satisfied. We were welcomed into a rustic and authentic atmosphere, with a menu read aloud and delicious dishes: everything you'd expect from a Valtellina crotto. I ordered fresh tagliatelle with venison ragù, served on a platter for two. Tasty and filling. For dessert, we decided to share a small selection of four cakes (a slice of coffee cake, a slice of lemon cake, a delicious apricot tart, and the equivalent of a torta paciarella, all strictly homemade). It was very much appreciated. Fair prices and a very pleasant stop. Recommended for anyone who happens to be in the area.

09/01/2026: Terrible experience, I took some Chinese dishes and some sushi to go, I even waited a while for the ravioli to be prepared, which I then literally had to throw in the garbage (the whole portion) to avoid risking food poisoning, awful smell, plus both the udon dish and the rice noodles had a bad taste, definitely something old, everything I ordered was inedible, NEVER AGAIN!!!

We were welcomed with friendly hospitality and rediscovered the flavors and values ​​of the mountains: handmade dishes, generous portions, and fantastic service. The grand finale was with the owner who delighted us with his complimentary sweets and amaro! A must-stop every time we pass through Madesimo from now on!
