06/01/2026: A welcoming and modern property with all the comforts in the rooms and a small shared kitchen, located approximately 750 meters above sea level on the "Costiera dei Cech" in the municipality of Civo, a hamlet of Serone (SO), in a quiet area surrounded by nature with a wonderful view of the Alps and Valtellina. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The common areas and rooms are extremely clean. The property has a large veranda at the front and back and a restaurant serving excellent traditional Valtellina cuisine using top-quality, locally sourced produce. Highly recommended.

03/05/2026: The hotel sits in a commanding position on a hill overlooking the surrounding mountains on both sides, with snow-capped peaks above 3,000 meters. It's set back from the valley floor state road 38, and therefore enjoys absolute tranquility and coolness, especially in the early morning and evening. The property has a pleasant exterior, a large parking lot in front, and along the wine route, a short distance from Teglio (5 km). The on-site bar, frequented by locals, is well-stocked. The reception, as simple as the interior, is immaculately clean throughout and fragrant. The place is welcoming, and guests sleep well at night thanks to the lack of external disturbances. Service is prompt, both in the rooms and in the bar and breakfast and dinner room. The dinner was truly excellent. It's best to book on Saturday evenings because it's often busy. Side dishes (sciatt and tagliere), first courses (really delicious and well-priced pizzoccheri, risotto with bresaola and sassello, abundant and very flavorful), and second courses (especially the beef fillet with porcini mushrooms) were truly high-quality, as was the punctual and precise table service. We'll be back.

04/02/2026: A perfect stop after a ride on the Bernina Express, so you don't have to go home tired. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent (sciat and pizzoccheri, meringue pie).

09/08/2026: Sadly, we didn’t have a very good experience at this restaurant. We started with the vegetable soup, which was okay. For our main courses, we had the spaghetti with tomato sauce and stracciatella, and the tagliolini with venison ragù. The spaghetti was definitely the better of the two dishes, while the tagliolini with venison ragù was quite disappointing. What bothered us most were the very small portion sizes. We were still quite hungry and finished our plates in no time. In addition, my tagliolini looked as though they had been carelessly thrown onto the plate, especially compared with photos and other dishes we saw being served. I tried to have a brief conversation with the waitress about our experience, but she immediately became defensive about the portion sizes and didn’t seem particularly interested in our feedback. Because of that, I decided not to pursue the matter further. The dessert was actually quite enjoyable, but after the disappointing main course, it didn’t really change our overall impression. Based on our experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. ... Unfortunately, we did not have a very good experience at this restaurant. The spaghetti is always safe in the piatto migliore dei due, while the tagliolini are in the ragù di Cervo sono statusi piuttosto deludenti. This means that the portions are almost as big as the picture. Avevamo ancora parecchia fame and abbiamo finito i nostri piatti in pochissimo tempo. 10/08/2026: The rating is a balance between the possibility of simply having an unlucky evening and a frankly awful pizza: completely burned; before being plated and served, it should simply be checked and, if necessary, remade. What made the experience even worse was the service: cold, inattentive, and anything but welcoming. During dinner, no one bothered to ask if everything was okay, even though it was obvious something was wrong. The way the reservation was handled also leaves me quite perplexed. I had requested a table for 7:00 PM, but was told that it wouldn't be possible before 7:45 PM due to takeout. Unfortunately, when I arrived, all the outside tables were occupied, and even the inside ones were already full with people who were quietly eating. At this point, it's natural to wonder what the real reason was that they couldn't meet the requested time. Ultimately, a decidedly disappointing experience: burnt pizza, cold service, and little attention to the customer. One would expect much more, especially from a pizzeria that should make product quality and hospitality its strengths.

28/07/2026: We stopped today because it was on the way, the staff was rushed but kind; we paid for two business menus instead of just one with the addition of a side dish in my opinion. ...we ordered two second courses, a wine, a water, a coffee, with the addition of a side dish and we didn't order either of the two first courses.

30/06/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat at this restaurant. Lately, we made a great discovery: gluten-free pizza is truly delicious. They're very good.

15/07/2026: The place has a fantastic view and the traditional dishes are made with quality ingredients. This isn't a given when you have passing customers, so I'll gladly return and bring friends. The strudel is the best I've ever tasted. With the addition of walnuts, cream, and those flavorful apples, it deserves 100 stars.
