04/07/2025: 29-06-2025 We met some friends around midday who offered us an aperitif at this place. Parking in the area was fairly easy to find. The place has tables outside, under a veranda and inside. We sat outside since it was a bit windy. I had a spritz with Campari, I would say too little Campari. We asked for something to nibble on and they brought us a tray with canapés, pieces of pizza, olives, chips, cheese and peanuts...not bad! Overall a good place, which could improve in appearance and in small attentions such as the napkins on the table that were missing.

03/02/2025: Locale ampio, pulito, molto curato e dallo stile "rustico". Personale sempre veloce, gentile e disponibile. La cucina è impeccabile e la qualità dei pasti giustifica a pieno il prezzo che si paga. Ogni piatto ha una sua identità e una sua storia, che sia un primo o un secondo, di terra o di mare, o che si tratti della loro "carnazza", lo chef sarà sempre felice di raccontarvi e anticiparvi cosa starete per assaporare. Consigliatissima anche la pizza se si vuole andare più sul semplice.

11/09/2025: Excellent meat, the owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and the service was excellent! We had four bruschettas with salami and Pomarola sauce as an appetizer, along with a mixed grill and the diaphragm. To finish, of course, we had a cheesecake with dulce de leche. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it.

25/05/2025: I returned to the pizzeria da tato after a long time and as always the products used are of excellent quality. I found the classic variety of pizzas plus the addition of very special pizzas (absolutely to try). I appreciated the improvements to the place maintaining the simple and rustic environment ensuring hospitality and courtesy from the owners, some desserts are home-made. I always recommend booking. You can park along the road. 2 pizzas 1 dessert 2 water spent €33. Highly recommended!!

13/09/2025: Mauro was an excellent hostess for my daughter's 18th birthday party. The catering service was impeccable: excellent food and attentive, meticulous service. I highly recommend it. I will be using Mauro and his staff again next time.

22/07/2025: For my graduation, I decided to celebrate with an aperitif/lunch at this restaurant located in the center of Pavia, just steps from the university headquarters. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the food was excellent. The only downside was the heat, as the restaurant isn't very large, and the city can be scorching hot during the summer. I was still satisfied with the experience, thank you!

09/10/2025: Very friendly staff, nice restaurant. I did a vertical ravioli tasting, since they make it themselves, so I tried various types. GARLIC, GARLIC, and more GARLIC. The annoying kind, which covers the other flavors and stays in your mouth for many, many hours! No thanks, really. It's a shame because they're very kind.

30/09/2025: We took the advice of some friends and tried this place right away! Needless to say, the ravioli were delicious, just like everything else we tried. New favorite place ✨✨

27/10/2025: I don't think I'll ever go back there again. It's so crowded, so small, so tables are too close together. You have to constantly check the bill because there's always something extra or something wrong. In large groups, to prevent this from happening, if you ask to pay for what you've consumed, they tell you they can't because it's a waste of time. In short, you end up paying a staggering amount for a pizza and a Coke!

28/09/2025: If I could, I'd give it a zero. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life: pure agony. We arrived at 12:30 and only managed to finish lunch at 4:50. The wait was interminable: between the appetizer and the first course, we waited 2 hours and 30 minutes. The appetizers were served one course every 30 minutes, and some of them were even forgotten, so much so that we had to point them out. No wine list available. The service was completely disorganized: the dishes arrived one person at a time, forcing everyone to eat at different times. One person in our group didn't eat the set menu: they brought her the first course while we were already starting the second course, and for the "secondo" she received a simple lamb's lettuce and apple salad, more like an improvised side dish than a real dish. Finally, we had to wait 20 minutes at the cashier to pay. In short: terrible service, lackluster organization, and endless waits. 👉 Not recommended, I'll never go back.

03/10/2025: The atmosphere is old. The girl who served me seemed annoyed, perhaps because I asked if it was possible to eat at 1:20 PM. The pizza was okay. Cover charge €2 and water €2.50. I wouldn't recommend it. Too bad the pizza wasn't bad.
