29/10/2025: We often come here for aperitivo. The food is very good, the atmosphere is pleasant, clean, and the staff are very friendly. We'll gladly return. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: First courses: excellent. Nothing to complain about. Second courses: the tagliata, even though it was ordered rare, tasted like a piece of boiled beef. The following is the part I'm interested in mentioning. Beautiful restaurant, the setting is the envy of everyone. If there were a chance to give the service a -5, I would have given it. As long as it's due to inexperience (and the young staff were generous and generous), I would never have allowed myself a negative review. We all need to learn the job. But when you wait 40 minutes for a second course despite arriving before the rest of the dining room and the dishes arriving, despite the 40 minutes: - the parmesan cheese and all the rest of the first courses are still on the table - you don't even bring forks and knives and happily go off to serve other diners - you don't bother bringing oil, salt, and pepper with the meat - you don't bring toothpicks after FORTY MINUTES and two requests There's a clear staffing issue. Worst of all, the "fittest" waitress, reprimanded for being the supposed "senior" of the aforementioned staff, not only gets annoyed but literally slams the wooden drawers in the dining room looking for cutlery and then carries it away with an even more annoyed expression. Personally, if I were the owner of the establishment, I would have sent her home immediately—shame on me. Will I come back? Yes, once the staff changes, including those responsible for the main courses.

13/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! Despite living nearby, I'm not a regular at the restaurant. However, I must happily admit that every time I've eaten there (mostly for dinner), I've always had a great time. Their strong point is undoubtedly their seafood dishes: the ingredients are incredibly fresh, their skill in cooking them is proven by years of experience, and the variety of options is wide and varied (appetizers, first courses, and second courses, all seafood-based). The prices are decidedly moderate (considering the high prices of seafood, especially fish, have become) and the portions are a decent size. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate enough, with an almost family-like feel. It's one of the very few businesses that has remained consistently strong over time, especially considering the economic and demographic downturn in the town where the restaurant is located. Short and short wait times. Ample parking. I highly recommend booking.

03/06/2025: Il Modì è vicino al castello di San Giorgio, comodo, informale e il personale è molto gentile. Si può mangiare sia dentro chefuori, nella veranda posta sul marciapiede. A pranzo propongono un menù fisso a 13/15 euro che coprende un piatto a scelta (primo, secondo o insalatona) acqua, caffè e dolcetto. La qualita dei piatti è molto buona. Consiglio vivamente questo locale.

29/03/2026: The food (we ate raw and cooked fish) wasn't bad, but not excellent. Service was rather slow, at least on weekends, with some waiters not particularly knowledgeable (a couple didn't know what wine they were serving). Otherwise, the place was nice and the staff were friendly. The price was okay, considering the generous portions make up for the average quality. For a night out with friends, it's a perfect place, but not so much for a romantic dinner.

29/01/2026: A lovely aquarium with sharks, turtles, piranhas, rays, and various smaller tanks with shrimp, snails, clownfish, and other fish. We were through in an hour; admission was €14.

09/01/2026: Small but very, very cute... We got a sandwich at the aquarium bar, spent a few hours with our little girl, who was thrilled to see the fish... Inside the bar, there are tables for children with some games to keep them entertained...

10/02/2026: Informal trattoria serving business lunches, with daily specials, traditional dishes, and an à la carte menu. The clientele is primarily workers and locals. The food is good, standard, and the service is quick (orders are brought by staff in a hurry). The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, a bit noisy but clean.

09/01/2026: An experience that falls squarely in the limbo of mediocrity. The food isn't bad, but it's not memorable either: it does its job without ever wowing you. It's a fine lunch stop on the highway, when you're very hungry and your expectations are prudently low. But beware of the price, which seems friendly and reassuring on the menu, only to reveal itself less innocently when it comes to the bill. Set menus can be a trap: if you don't specify every single choice with extreme precision, you risk paying too much for quality that doesn't justify the outlay. For celiacs, for celiacs... beware: if you have celiacs, avoid this place. The selection is limited, and the few options available are truly worthless. A final, almost mystical twist: the agnoli were good, surprisingly good, like a mistake in the general script. Dessert, however, brings everyone back down to earth: €5 per person, just enough time to reflect on your choices while staring at your empty plate.

21/01/2026: A CAOAMARO PIZZA HAD A PIECE OF APPETIZER INSIDE... broken... WHO KNOWS WHAT RECYCLED PLATE IT CAME FROM... UNFORTUNATELY I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. I SPENT 60 EUROS ON TAKE-OUT PIZZAS, BUT THEY WERE REALLY DISGUSTING, WITH MANY BURNED PARTS. WHAT A SHAME... GET A GOOD PIZZA CHEF AND PAY HIM WELL SO YOU CAN AVOID LOSING CUSTOMERS.

16/01/2026: Terrible Experience Jan 2026 • Family A very serious and unacceptable experience, and unfortunately it's not the first time. On several occasions, we've found ourselves paying prices different from those listed on the menu, and even items we never ordered were listed on the receipt. On our last visit, we were charged for a zuppa inglese and a chocolate cake we never ordered, a baby pizza charged €7.50 instead of the indicated €6, and a mixed fried fish listed at €16 on the menu but paid €18 at the counter. These can't be simple mistakes: when it happens repeatedly, it speaks volumes about a lack of transparency and a lack of fairness towards the customer. Such behavior is very serious and completely undermines trust. I advise everyone to check their receipt item by item, because the risk of overpaying is real. For our part, we will never set foot in this restaurant again.
