06/04/2026: Nice place, a little unique, not your typical pizzeria, with plenty of space and an extensive menu. The only downside is that the more sophisticated dishes are ONLY for 2 people, and if no one in your family is supporting you, you have to eat an excellent pizza and watch the others eat splendid paellas or other similar delicacies.

08/01/2026: Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. I'd say, at least in our case, the room needs some renovation and attention. The heating didn't work, the shower was broken, and the toilet seat was barely attached on one side. The cleanliness was excellent, but the breakfast really needs more attention. By the second day, there was nothing left at 9:00 AM. There were excellent reviews, but perhaps our timing was completely wrong.

21/11/2025: One of the best places to stay in the area. Super helpful and friendly staff, very comfortable rooms (we booked a 5-person apartment). Completely immersed in nature, it's connected to Peschiera by several walking trails. Very relaxing, perfect for families with children.

26/02/2026: Wanting to take home some traditional sweets, perhaps even as gifts, we asked a local for advice, who directed us to this historic pastry shop, whose aromas waft through Via San Longino, right in the historic center. The sbrisolona, ​​which we knew well, was very good. As for the Helvezia, since I'm not familiar with it, I have no basis for comparison, so I can't comment (it's too sweet for my taste anyway). The place is quaint, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. I'm not giving it top marks just because I didn't try anything else, but what was on display in the windows was certainly very inviting.

12/02/2026: I'm reviewing this place as a restaurant! Since I can't rate the food, the 5-star rating for the rooms is based on our dinner experience. We didn't try the B&B service. The restaurant showcases two distinct culinary styles that blend perfectly in a restaurant that welcomes you as if you were dining at a friend's house...a friend who knows a thing or two about cooking. The offerings range from traditional Italian and Mantuan dishes to Asian-inspired dishes. Both offer truly high-quality dishes, with aromas and flavors that transport you to China, Hong Kong, and Japan, like the ramen and mixed antipasto, alongside perfectly executed classics like tagliolini with truffle or shrimp and shrimp bisque. You can't go wrong with the desserts either (but you have to try the Mantuan rose cake because you'll never go back!). Honorable mention goes to the dining room service and the sommelier, who guided us through a blind wine tasting, featuring truly rare labels and delightful discoveries. For dinner, with a mixed appetizer per person and a main course each, plus dessert, wine, and service charge, we spent €60-65 per person, which is more than deserved. Congratulations!

09/11/2025: I was there last night, October 8, 2025. I had two medium beers and tried yours 😅😅😅😅. I don't remember the name, but I know it was a replacement for the Spritz, as it's out of stock 😊😊😊. And I have to say, the guy who made it was very professional in making mine and preparing the others'. Congratulations, guys. If I have the chance to stop by Viadana again, I'll be happy to stop by.

11/03/2026: Squared. A historic place, I've known it for many years. Always a guarantee. Excellent dishes. The Mantuan tradition is excellent, well respected in the flavors and recipes. The prices are also very consistent with the quality. Low prices for me, living in Rome. The pizza is also excellent. And it's also in the center of the pearl (=Mantua) for a wonderful stroll after lunch or dinner.

It's a place where time hasn't stood still, but has been passed down. Here you'll find true tradition, the kind recognized by taste and memory, the kind that tells you what you're eating and where it comes from. Authentic, sincere cuisine, rooted in 1963 and still speaking with the same voice, made of authenticity, goodness, and respect. Tonight, as always, I found all of this: the flavor of things done well, friendship, human warmth, and then the stories, which are part of the menu here: stories of painters and cinema. The pictures on the walls speak of Zavattini, the memory of Bertolucci and his crews who came to eat here, and that atmosphere that smells of Ligabue, of Antonio Ligabue, of art lived and not embalmed. There are dishes that alone deserve official recognition: the bigoli with snail ragù and the sugolo with zabaglione should be declared a World Heritage Site, because they are infinitely delicious, the kind that lingers in your memory and makes you want to return again and again. Nizzoli isn't just a restaurant: it's a place of the soul. A place where you eat well, yes, but above all, a place where you return. Always willingly.
