06/03/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you come to Mantua, you absolutely must eat at Casa dello Speck! A truly exquisite and cool place: wooden tables, unique and refined furnishings, a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to Simone, who managed the reservation for us, we were seated at a "privè" table, a private space on a landing with a window overlooking the street: intimate, romantic, and truly top-notch! Simone was a real plus for the evening: extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Service like that makes all the difference. Excellent menu: we ordered the pork shank and the cutlet, both delicious and perfectly cooked. The pretzel is also highly recommended! I recommend the Engel Bock Dunkel red beer, suggested by Simone to pair with the pork shank: a perfect pairing. To finish, the house amaro is truly excellent, similar to Amaro del Capo but with a twist. A must-see in Mantua, I'll definitely be back!

The products are excellent: you can taste the quality and artisanal passion in every dessert, from the brioches to the more unusual specialties. The shop is clean and the service is attentive. The hours have recently been updated, improving accessibility. A positive experience, highly recommended. 4 stars.

04/03/2026: We spent two days in Mantua; on our first night, we decided to have dinner here. The owner greeted us as if we were longtime customers. I've rarely encountered such kindness. Everything we ordered was truly delicious; from the gnocco fritto with cured meats, to the pumpkin tortelli, to the risotto alla Pilota with puntel, and even dessert. What more can I say? We had such a great time, we came back the next night! Congratulations!!!
