05/09/2025: This little place was recommended by friends, one of those places that feels old-fashioned and makes you feel right at home. Excellent food, super-fair prices, but what really makes the difference is the staff. The two ladies in the dining room are very kind, smiling, and welcoming. The meatballs are delicious!! I'll definitely be back soon.

13/08/2025: We happened to be passing by and stopped out of curiosity. What a wonderful discovery! We had an appetizer, a fried dish, and a dessert. Everything was top-notch. The staff was friendly and very helpful... We'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

21/09/2025: On Saturday, September 13th, we stayed at this fabulous hotel, near the center of Pegognaga and very close to Villa Angeli. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was excellent; nothing was missing, including all the homemade desserts, including the delicious sbrisolona. The hotel owner, Mrs. Monica, was super kind and always available to make sure we didn't miss anything. I'd recommend anyone passing through to stay at the Hotel Novecento.

22/08/2025: Stayed from Monday, August 18th to Thursday, August 21st, 2025 for a business trip. The cleanliness was unmatched in any other hotel. The atmosphere was wonderful, welcoming, with top-notch service and a level of courtesy I've never experienced before! Highly recommended.

22/10/2025: Every time I visit Albareto, a stop at Bar Il Cyclone is a must. Impeccable service, knowledgeable staff, and a very friendly, kind, and smiling owner. Very good beer, and their prosciutto sandwich (along with other dishes) is a must-try. AMAZING

21/10/2025: A must-visit every time I pass by. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, and above all, always in a good mood. The sandwiches are delicious: the prosciutto and caciotta cheese is fantastic. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

20/10/2025: The restaurant overlooks the city's main square and has two rooms, one of which is a cozy, enclosed veranda with a wood-burning stove to heat the space. We ate well, featuring traditional Mantuan dishes and home cooking. The tagliatelle with duck ragù were excellent, as were the sbrisolona and tagliatelle cake for dessert. The prices were fair. The service was very attentive and friendly. We'll be back!

30/09/2025: It's like being a guest at your mother's place. The interior is like being at home. Excellent quality food and friendly service. Prices are excellent, especially considering the quality and quantity. We'll definitely be back.

16/09/2025: Good food at great prices, an atmosphere with screens showing various sports, friendly and always smiling service, clean bathrooms, and there's also billiards and darts you can play. A safe choice when you want to hang out with friends without spending too much and eat well!

04/10/2025: A real discovery!!! The new management deserves more than 5 stars. We had a very good and especially plentiful fish appetizer, and two extraordinary pizzas with a light crust. 31/08/2025: A trattoria definitely worth a visit! The menu is simple yet flavorful, with carefully prepared dishes and quality ingredients. I tried the Iberian suckling pig, exceptional meat: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. In the kitchen is Marco, a young chef who knows his stuff: his passion and expertise shine through in every dish. The service is friendly, the atmosphere welcoming, and the prices fair. I'll definitely be back!

09/10/2025: I had dinner by chance at this beautiful historic inn. The restaurant is in harmony with the splendid square it overlooks. They recommended donkey stew for my second course. 03/06/2025: Il Modì è vicino al castello di San Giorgio, comodo, informale e il personale è molto gentile. Si può mangiare sia dentro chefuori, nella veranda posta sul marciapiede. A pranzo propongono un menù fisso a 13/15 euro che coprende un piatto a scelta (primo, secondo o insalatona) acqua, caffè e dolcetto. La qualita dei piatti è molto buona. Consiglio vivamente questo locale.

02/05/2025: Mi sono recata ieri 1/5 in questo bar per prendere un aperitivo. Attendevo un amico nel frattempo ho preso una bottiglietta di acqua. Poi siccome lui tardava ad arrivare ho ordinato uno Spritz . Dopo 5 minuti esce il titolare con lo Spritz e mi dice : son € 7. Io gli dico ma non posso pagare dopo poichè il mio amico mi avrebbe offerto l'aperitivo. Lui risponde che appena le bevande vengono servite al tavolo bisogna pagare. Io gli dico che ho con me solo la carta di credito e lui mi dice ok paghi con quella. Io gli dico di riportare indietro l'ordinazione e di farla uscire 5 minuti dopo. Lui dice che non può e mi chiede di pagare almeno l'acqua 8 € 2 per 1/2 litro). Io pago con la carta e mi ritrovo l'addebito del totale di € 7. Maleducazione totale mancanza di adeguarsi alle richieste dei clienti totale mancanza di gentilezza. Lo sconsiglio vivamente da evitare assolutamente anche perchè negli altri bar che frequento anche in centro storico come questo ho sempre pagato dopo . Inoltre € 50 centesimi per il servizio al tavolo cosa che non mi è mai successa. Non andateci , a Mantova ci sono molti bar alternativi a questo. Anonimo

It is so nice to meet owner/operators that are passionate about offering high-quality locally sourced product. We had good conversation and excellent food that exceeded our expectations Thank you!
