Excellent value for money and giant portions

Exceptional food, generous portions and friendly staff. Dishes with donkey are strongly recommended, such as pasta and stew.

Very nice atmosphere, the only flaw was the service... two dishes arrived and not requested, and on the bill there was a first course (not ordered) twice, too bad we realized it when we returned to the hotel. However, apart from these [small points], recommended

The food is good and the portions are very generous. The service is flawed: inexperienced waiters, you have to call them several times for anything, they sometimes bring first and second courses together. The place is very particular: eccentric but still welcoming, in tavern style. The quality/price ratio is excellent also considering the quantity.

Typical place, as the name suggests, it reflects a tavern from years gone by, delicious and plentiful dishes, excellent service with easy-going and friendly young people. The chef and owner are very nice and really good! Highly recommended! I hope to return as soon as possible. Fair price.

Piatti fantastici di carne primi rielaborati alla perfezione ottima location tutto molto abbondante

Osteria tradizionale situata a pochi km da Mantova, l’aspetto e’ abbastanza caratteristico vi sono diverse sale ognuna col proprio carattere e in mostra varie collezioni e pezzi di modernariato usati come decorazioni. Il menu e’ abbastanza tradizionale con largo uso di ingredienti locali , dopo avere condiviso un antipasto con Salumi e Mortadella mantovana e giardiniere con l’ottima focaccia homemade , ho ordinato delle conchiglie al torchio con salsiccia e pioppini ed a seguire un Filetto di maiale ai ferri in crosta di speck , ambedue i piatti gradevoli e ben eseguiti anche se troppo abbondanti, infatti non e’ rimasto spazio per i dessert che sembravano veramente ottimi. Estremamente cordiale ed amichevole il servizio conto economico.
