26/08/2025: I'm a nurse, and when I pass by Il Forno, I can't help but try their fresh pastries, various fresh bread specialties, and various pizza and focaccia options. Excellent service, delicious bread, and always top-notch hygiene. I often stop by for a delicious breakfast. The staff are always smiling and very professional. Il Forno has become a must-try for anyone passing through Borgovico; you simply can't miss it.

20/07/2025: We eat here very often. It feels like eating at home. The food is delicious and of a rare quality! Since I've been frequenting this place regularly, I can't stand going to the usual AYCE restaurants anymore. The quality of the sushi (and the Chinese dishes as well) is top-notch. The surprising thing? The prices, which are significantly below average even for the à la carte menu. The owner is also very friendly and we often stop by for a chat after dinner.

10/06/2025: ⚠️ Experience with few highs and many lows at Villa Moroni The location is undoubtedly scenic, but our overall experience was disappointing. Too many broken promises, too much rigidity and a clear imbalance between what is initially said and what actually happens. At the beginning we were presented with a "no worries" package, all included, but the reality was very different. Many services turned out to be extras to pay: the flower bar, the drinks (not even Coca Cola and orange juice were included), the beer for one of our guests (a keg of almost 300 euros). Even the artificial lake, which they had guaranteed us as part of the set-up, was completely without water. The contract is written very precisely but only to the advantage of the structure. Any request is treated rigidly. We communicated the number of guests 15 days in advance, but a week before we communicated 6 cancellations. Despite this, they made us pay for all 6 menus, without any openness or gesture of understanding. We asked to at least compensate with drinks or something else, but no availability. In the end we wanted to take away the food we paid for, but the appetizer was completely missing from the menus. On the day of the wedding, the food was disappointing compared to the rehearsals: The shrimp risotto was watered down. The fillet, which was very tender at the rehearsals, arrived hard and of a different type of meat. The two promised chocolate waterfalls were not there: only a plate of chocolate with a spoon. The children's menu was charged half the price of an adult, but it only included ham, pasta, cutlet and chips. The fact that they could access the buffets does not justify the disproportionate price. 🧼 In addition: The bathrooms were dirty and were cleaned during the event only because a guest complained 6 The entrance to the villa was not at all up to expectations:, synthetic welcome. No one explained to the guests how to use the wedding bag, which went completely unnoticed. In summary: ✅ Scenic location ❌ Poor organization ❌ Unkept promises ❌ Very expensive extra services ❌ Unbalanced contract and no flexibility ❌ Disappointing food on the day of the event ❌ Disorganized welcome and dirty bathrooms ❌ No management of the wedding bag 👉 If you choose Villa Moroni, ask for everything in writing. Nothing is included if it is not specified in the contract. The appearance is fabulous, but the management needs to be completely reviewed. Your response is a perfect example of how the credibility of a facility can be destroyed in just a few lines. Accusing two customers of “review blackmail” is a serious and shameful statement. It is the typical attitude of those who are unable to handle legitimate criticism, documented and shared by dozens of witnesses. You forgot – conveniently – that we paid a bank transfer of 9,000 euros without knowing what to do, in addition to the initial deposit, months in advance, paying for almost everything before even using any service. Those who make this type of choice do not do so to save money, but because they rely on professionals. Professionals who, in your case, proved to be completely inadequate. On the “potatoes” issue: we didn't make a scene. Some guests simply asked the waiters what the side dish was and received the wrong answer (“potatoes” instead of caramelized apples). A trivial mistake, which would not even have been worth reporting, if it had not been exploited by you in a ridiculous and childish way. But the lowest point is reached in your personal attack: insinuating that our wedding “was more suited to a trattoria” is a gratuitous, arrogant and classist offense (And it is already the second time that you have offended us and clung to this phrase). Your “superiority of standing” crumbles in front of a pond without water, often dirty bathrooms, lack of indications and zero organizational flexibility. Everything we have written is verifiable. We have witnesses, evidence and messages. If necessary, we are available to show them. We are happy with our wedding because we made it special with our hearts, family and friends. You have only represented a location and, unfortunately, not even up to your online image. If this is your idea of ​​“international level”, made of sarcasm, arrogance and disrespect, then yes: we much prefer the humility, professionalism and true dignity of a country trattoria. At least there the customer is treated with respect, and not with arrogance and contempt by those who hide behind a beautiful location but have very little to offer in terms of seriousness. Your response is the best negative publicity you could have done for yourself. Congratulations.

16/08/2025: Everything was perfect! We stayed half-board, thinking we'd get a tourist menu, but we were disappointed. The food was top-notch, comparable to other restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Everything was positive, no negatives for this wonderful hotel. I recommend those who aren't staying at the hotel to try the restaurant. The location is also excellent.

09/08/2025: I've already eaten at the hotel restaurant twice, and as a celiac, I can only praise it. Almost the entire menu is available gluten-free, and the pizza (with homemade dough) is truly delicious.
