04/08/2025: Superb!!! Quality products, from the incredibly flaky and filled brioches to the coffee shop. The latter amazed me with their Cavalli coffee, made with egg yolks beaten with sugar; a sweet discovery for me. The friendly and helpful staff accommodates even the strangest requests, like specially purchased banana juice. Highly recommended...

Off the beaten track, authentic cuisine prepared by honest people who see their way of eating as part of their own family history, framed by a culture of identity. Exquisite antipasti, melanzane with wild oregano, a narrative from the south to the north of the peninsula, bringing with it ancestral recipes, a way of conceiving the "tabola posta," a one-on-one approach, and each dish that tells the story of the hand that conceived it. Deco of potus and 70s furniture, many gastronomic journeys under my belt, accumulated wisdom wrapped in scents and textures. To go, eat, delight, and learn. Pascuale and family, nativity during the Easter season—it couldn't be any other way. La Spigola, a Milanese secret that I would love to keep to myself, but which I share because this endangered species deserves all the complements that exist in the world and beyond.

21/08/2025: We went to celebrate a birthday and… we should have brought our own sandwiches. The birthday boy was promised appetizers: spoiler alert, they never showed up. Twenty of us fought over three tiny pinsas and two platters—basically a festival tasting, certainly not a dinner. The birthday boy, understandably, didn't touch anything: it's hard to celebrate when you don't even get a plate. The jugs of "drinks" were so watered down they looked like flavored water. The icing on the cake? We were starving at the table, while on the other side they were setting up a lavish buffet for another group… which remained practically untouched. In the end, they tried to make up for it by bringing a focaccia because the birthday boy went to argue about it, saying they wouldn't charge us for it... 😂 We were still waiting for the pinsas, which never arrived... Only two things are good: the DJ's music (which at least kept the mood high) and the cake the birthday boy brought. As for the rest, there's really a lot to improve. I don't usually write negative reviews, but this time I couldn't keep quiet.

30/08/2025: Dinner for three. First time at a Scandinavian restaurant, with initial skepticism given the menu pairings. The dishes, however, were excellently cooked and presented, expertly paired with unique sauces with delicate and harmonious flavors. An excellent dinner, beyond all expectations. The venison tartare with quail egg, lamb rump, and cod were particularly appreciated. The salmon was also appreciated. Recommended.

13/08/2025: I visited this trattoria "Ristoro" in Caslino d'Erba again with a group of friends, and everyone was completely satisfied: the paccheri allo scoglio were exquisite, with a very balanced flavor; the grilled fish was sublime; the fried lake fish had an authentic and unforgettable flavor; and the swordfish carpaccio was delicious. A word about the desserts is a must: the corn cake with apples and figs, the torta paesana, and the chocolate salami were delicious. The result was that everyone enjoyed every course. The prices are definitely fair for the quality of the food. The service was simple, attentive, and very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth trying and frequenting! We'll definitely be back!

10/08/2025: Had the most wonderful lunch at Bar Trattoria Ristoro! We got the Pizzoccheri and Tagliatelle ai Porcini, which were delightful and freshly made! Then the desert came and we got the forest cake, apple and fig polenta and lemon sorbet which were all heavenly! The forest cake and polenta were melting in our mouth and so flavour! Could not get enough of it! Thank you very much for the lovely staff and amazing chef! The waitress was so lovely and helpful! A must visit place! 😍Grazie mille!
