05/07/2025: Mi familia y yo visitamos este restaurante basándonos en las críticas anteriores aquí en Tripadvisor. Fontana es un restaurante modesto y genuino que sirve cocina italiana casera, ¡y Dios mío, la comida estaba excelente! Probé el vongelle y el entrecot, ambos estaban muy deliciosos. El personal es muy servicial y atento. Mi familia y yo pedimos cinco platos diferentes y todo llegó rápido y estaba muy rico. Nuestra experiencia fue genial e incluso volvimos a cenar el mismo día. Si quieres disfrutar de excelente comida casera italiana en Como, visita Fontana (y mantente alejado de las otras trampas para turistas con precios excesivos).

28/06/2025: Great little pizza shop in Como just a few steps away from the boat dock. We found this place on Google with fair reviews but feel it should be much higher. Great service, very attentive staff - they were very helpful with an expansive menu. We got our pizzas that were super fresh, and large portions. You could easily share it with two people. We ordered three different pizzas and a pasta, as well as some chicken. They kept the water coming for us, and we appreciate it. It was about 90 euro total…a great deal in a normally expensive town. Reminds me of a hole in the wall joint in NYC or other big city’s

25/06/2025: This bistro is a warm and cozy place to dine out. The restaurant people are so friendly and the food is beyond expectation! The grilled octopus is cooked to be tender and with great flavor. Also love the ink pasta with squid. The freshness of the sea is well interpreted in this dish.

03/05/2025: We found ourselves in this place while walking along Corso Lodi. We were struck by the outdoor space and the inviting climate of the place. There is a wide choice of dishes of the day and menus at a very affordable price. Friendly and nice staff, I recommend you go there if you pass through those areas

04/06/2025: Ci siamo trovati in questo locale per un incontro tra ex colleghi. Non conoscevo il locale. Si tratta di ambiente nuovo, moderno, gestito da ragazzi giovani. Il locale è molto affollato sul presto, ma anche un po' rumoroso e la conversazione non è facile, tra molti al tavolo. Poi però la maggior parte degli avventori esce dal locale sul presto. Servizio cortese e veloce. Buona la selezione sia delle pizze che delle birre. Le bizze sono morbide, come piacciono a me con un bel cornicione. Forse i prezzi sono un po' alti, ma è un locale di tendenza e di moda! Buone a proposta dei dolci, sembrano fatti da loro.

25/05/2025: Un fabuloso restaurante para familias y parejas y con una gran variedad de auténtica comida italiana. Una buena carta de vinos y un gran consejo del Maitre D'. Disfrutamos del ambiente, el servicio atento, amable, y la comida tanto, que regresamos en la segunda noche de nuestra estancia en Sesto Calende. Nos recibieron como viejos amigos por el encantador gerente / propietario y Maitre D' y tuvimos otra gran comida.

22/07/2025: Wow! This place is top shelf - the food was incredible - got the burger and fries - try the fries!! They’re real potato but still crispy - burger was fresh and flavourful (huge! It can be shared) Around me many had the meals including lasagna - nobody left any food on their plates Fairly priced for the freshness Atmosphere note: Handled groups incredibly I watched the staff smoothly navigate a busy lunch including 2-3 tables of over 10 people without breaking a sweat - smiling, hustling and attentive without being intruding to all patrons The communicative green/red box on the table is helpful It’s a pretty classy place - the genius is in the tucked away kids play house which I didn’t even notice until the end

14/07/2025: I ordered (takeout) a delicious Calabrian pizza... so it goes in my top... taking into account that I've been eating it for over 40 years 😬 And I've been making it for 30 😎 ...And it's good, not because I've been hospitalized for 5 days... I also send many compliments with a "virtual kiss on the hand 😚" to that very kind ANGELO who answered and helped me... twice ☺️ (Twice due to my ignorance in ordering for the first time with Deliveroo 🫣😬😅 )... I'll try to eat there... maybe when I'm discharged 😊

17/07/2025: Don’t miss the opportunity to dine at this gem of a trattoria. 5 days in Milano. This was the best restaurant we ate at. We arrived late for us, (around 9:30pm) they greeted us very warmly and found a table very promptly. The service was outstanding and the food delicious. As Arnold would say, “ I’ll be back”.

23/07/2025: I had higher expectations for the food. The bread wasn't the freshest, and I expected breadsticks or small alternatives, considering it's a restaurant that bills itself as gourmet. Then, two tagliatelle forgotten on the stove ended up on my plate, burnt. Furthermore, I don't understand why, among so many first courses, they chose to include a mussel dish on the menu despite the location being on the lake. Obviously, I tried that dish out of curiosity, and of course, the mussels were frozen. €30 per dish isn't worth the quality. It's the usual chic restaurant for American tourists, and I'm sorry. The location and service were top-notch, but the dishes aren't up to par. I'm sorry.

24/04/2025: Passing through the San Donato metro square I stopped for lunch in this bicycle-themed bar. Abundant sandwich with quality products. The place is very nice and there is also wifi for customers. I will return to try the bicycle repair service

24/04/2025: Bicycle workshop with bar, perfect match! I stopped to eat a piadina for lunch and in the meantime I purchased an accessory for my bicycle. The guys are very kind and helpful. They also have aperitifs with delicious cocktails and often organize events. I recommend trying their spritzes. See you soon guys

14/06/2025: I tried the tuna steak. The fish was fresh, but the dish as a whole didn't impress me: the flavor was rather neutral and lacked that extra touch that makes the difference. The service was quite polite, even if a little slow, and the atmosphere overall was pleasant. It wasn't a bad experience, but not a memorable one either. Maybe I'll go back to try other dishes.

18/07/2025: The atmosphere and service are excellent (in my opinion, the owner could be less "entertaining" when customers are already seated at their table). The food is good. The noodles and gyoza are a plus. The spring rolls are a minus.

17/06/2025: Every time we come to Bergamo Alta, we have lunch at this restaurant. The menu offers delicious dishes in some cases with particular combinations and presented in a masterly way. The staff is always very kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

04/07/2025: The very kind staff welcomes you in a warm room furnished with taste and simplicity. The homemade bread is fragrant, the dishes are refined and delicious. The scallops are tender and growing, the pigeon is excellent. The wine list is extensive and ranges between local, Italian and foreign. A little place to return to

26/06/2025: Very nice place, with a small outdoor courtyard, also ideal for a dinner for two. The dishes are very well-prepared and definitely excellent (they could deserve a star), the menu is full of proposals with interesting combinations, both seafood and meat, homemade bread and with lots of delicious cuddles at the end of the meal. Wine list attentive to the Oltrepo territory. Kind and very helpful staff. A place where you certainly make a good impression on your guests. Prices adequate for the quality and service.

30/05/2025: While on vacation, we stopped at the D’à Gino restaurant. The welcome was very pleasant despite the language barrier, but above all, we enjoyed ourselves and their desserts were a delight. Chance sometimes has good surprises in store.
