29/06/2025: Historic pastry shop in Genoa, but I assume the behavior of the owner is also historic! I went to this pastry shop to get a cake, which has nothing to say about the "excellent" product But hearing how the employee called to have me served and the faces she made disgusted me... there was no rush, the employees are very nice in their ways and seeing an owner who with her face despises her employee in front of a customer, even if you have the best product in the world, does not make me want to come back The 2 stars are for the cake!

26/08/2025: In the morning I decided to stop at this bar, I had never done it before. €9 for a cappuccino, a juice and a brioche. The staff seemed not to understand Italian and were very rude, and the icing on the cake was the soft brioche... it completed an unpleasant breakfast.

16/08/2025: Excellent pesto focaccia. Friendly little street.

09/08/2025: Service was very poor, to nonexistent. The male-looking waitress with a military-style haircut and a Rambo headband refused to serve my feminine friend. After 10 minutes of waiting, intense eye contact, and obvious queuing at the cash register, we were skillfully ignored. Not even a "please wait a minute." During this time, we watched her pour ice into our drinks with her bare, dirty hands. Luckily, the fast-food place next door was excellent and much cheaper. We will never visit this pizzeria again as long as this lousy waitress works there.

04/08/2025: A wonderful experience!! A small place where you eat very well, simple and well-cooked. Very good ingredients. The staff is very kind, attentive, and precise. The prices are very fair, well below average despite being right in the center of Sestri. The place is a little dated but clean and tidy. I highly recommend it, we'll be back.

23/08/2025: Overpriced place, 7 euro for glass of wine, 13 - 16 for basic starter...

08/08/2025: Food: The fries are homemade, and you can tell by their crispiness. Service: The waiter was super friendly. It's a shame that in our case, he was alone, so service was quite slow. Ambience: The interior is well-stocked and charming. It's a shame it's located in an alley with other competing bars. The cleanliness and parquet floors could be improved. Most importantly, pigeons sometimes come in. Despite this, the place is nice.

27/07/2025: Truly the best place we’ve been to in Rapallo. The staff was super friendly (especially the waiter with an eyebrow piercing idk his name). The food was delicious. Highly recommend trying their pizza because we came back for it many times. If you like risotto go ahead and order because it was 10/10. Overall definitely the best place and authentic place in Rapallo, a must visit.

24/08/2025: This restaurant doesn't deserve to be called such a restaurant. I've never eaten so badly in my life. The dishes all tasted the same: pasta with olive oil. We ordered six different fish-based first courses, and they all tasted the same, bland and tasted only of oil. And let's not even talk about the second courses. The only redeeming feature was the desserts; otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. Unfortunately, we were influenced by the variety of fish-based dishes they had, but this restaurant focuses on the number of seats rather than the quality of the ingredients. The products were clearly frozen and not even prepared well. Not to mention the presentation of the dishes, which looked like a mess. The service was almost non-existent. Every now and then, we had to ask for something logical, like an extra plate and napkins for the shells rather than cutlery or, worse, wine glasses. In short, disorganization from the kitchen to the dining room. My score for this restaurant is -0, don't go there!!!! Unfortunately, I have to give it 1 star, but believe me, it's not worth it at all.

28/07/2025: Terrible: Co-pay €2/person, glasses stained with food residue, even the paper napkins are black... Expensive pizza, but black from the oven, with soot all over your hands and mouth. Wine €3.50, but of terrible quality. "Token" additions for €2! Everything more expensive than the competition: cover charge, drinks, pizzas, additions, but definitely worse. Not recommended

15/05/2025: I have been to this business three times and the truth is that all three times the food is always good, good service and very good price and quality. Just one thing: they could be more generous with the gnocchi.

11/06/2025: We were 7 for dinner, it was a Saturday and we wanted to order gyros for everyone but.....it was sold out!!!! It's not good!!! Excellent service

11/05/2025: Vorrei iniziare la mia recensione dicendo (come ho letto in un altro commento) di diffidare delle recensioni negative! Sono ESAGERATE!!! Abbiamo scoperto Il Ciliegio alla Fattoria San Desiderio quasi per caso… e ce ne siamo davvero innamorati. La location ha un altissimo potenziale: immersa nel verde, con un’atmosfera rilassata e perfetta per le famiglie. La presenza degli animali è un valore aggiunto, anche se — va detto — le stalle potrebbero essere mantenute con maggiore cura e pulizia. Abbiamo visto , asini, mucche, capre, un cinghiale e un maiale…e un gufo reale è stata una sorpresa meravigliosa! Aggiungo che con un euro compri carote da dare agli animali… E un parco avventura molto bello per i bambini più grandi! Il cibo è semplice ma genuino e servito con cortesia. Si percepisce la passione di chi lavora con impegno ogni giorno. Il menù fisso comprende due primi, un secondo con contorno, antipasto, dolce, bevande e vino: 30 euro per gli adulti, 15 i bambini, un prezzo onestissimo per quanto offerto e per la qualità. L’unica nota un po’ meno convincente è stata la carne, che comunque resta mangiabile. Il servizio è lento ma ti puoi godere la giornata e i bambini possono spezzare il momento del pasto con qualche pausa, secondo me iniziando all’una abbiamo finito alle 15/15.30 ma comprensibilmente: il personale è ridotto e fa davvero del suo meglio. Ultima osservazione secondo me potreste investire nell’acquisto di seggioloni Ikea a poco prezzo25 euro circa o usati ne vendono tantissimi… (Gli e***ril per esempio che sicuramente non è un locale per bambini ne avrà più di 20🤣🤣🤣 .. ) Noi sapevamo che non c’erano e quindi lo abbiamo portato… non costa niente perché la strada è veramente cinque minuti a piedi! Ma mi sentivo di dirvelo… In conclusione, Il Ciliegio non merita affatto certe critiche severe. Anzi: torneremo sicuramente!

11/05/2025: We came for Women's Day. We have come several times and the welcome is truly family-like. Friendly and helpful staff. Fair and understandable wait. Good and simple food. Perfect place to relax, with family or not. Ideal for children. Amazing animals!!!

16/07/2025: I ordered this delicious kebab (seekh kebab piadina) and it was wonderful. It comes with fries, but I got the combo because more fries wouldn't hurt, haha. The kebab man is very good, and the service and food were delicious.

01/08/2025: The pizzas are good, nothing special. However, there were three of us. The third pizza arrived 30 minutes later than the others, even though we had mentioned it three times to the waiters in the meantime. We mentioned this to the manager when paying the bill, and he laughed in our face, without a word of apology or any kind gesture for this delay, which ruined our meal. Look carefully; you'll find a much better pizzeria than this tourist trap, with better service, a little further up Via Donato Somma. Finally, we were constantly bothered by street vendors. We won't be going back.

01/08/2025: The food is generally good for a reasonable price. However, after ordering, we waited an hour to be served, which is unacceptable. The waitress chatted more with her friends than served the customers.
